After 6 mo the tables showed signs of warping in the wood. We also had weird spots start showing up on the top of the sideboard (it was always covered with a piece of custom glass). Mike the store manager was so understanding and helpful and let me exchange it for a different piece (we did have the extended warranty). Then, we went back and bought another table for our kitchen.We purchased the Oliver. Once it was delivered, it just didn't look right in our kitchen. And when we fully extended it with the leaf, there was large gap in the middle and it was very noticeable.We went into this store within two days and stated we would like to exchange it for something else. Sam was obliged to do so, although we were told we had to pay a 20% stocking fee. We did end up exchanging for a different table at scandinavian design, but we did end up having to pay a $300 restocking fee. Seems excessive especially if you're exchanging becuase of a product your not satisfied with. So my advice is to make sure you ask them to open it if there's a leaf and really, really pay attention to the quality before you bring it home. We will still continue to buy from there.Although I will pay more attention to those aspects.

The price was surprisingly reasonable for the quality - we have received quite a few comments from guests about how comfortable they are! This will definitely be our first stop the next time we need to shop for new furniture. One star off because there was no one around to assist me in lifting chairs down from a rack so I could test them out. Being pregnant at the time, it was something I would have appreciated help with!

Owner was so sweet to my little one, chatting with her and even sending her home with a little ring. I can't believe I've been driving by on my way to Trader Joe's and haven't stopped in before. Ciel is a solid furniture alternative to chain stores like World Market. I think my taste is little more modern (and they DO have some more modern styled pieces), but if you are into the shabby chic look, you're in luck. This place will be full of treasures for you.

The store is run by a family who care about their customers & will look out for them. This place is a huge warehouse full of couches, living room furniture, beds, tables, and more. The stock on the floor is all brand new and at outlet pricing -- their stock fluctuates and is never guaranteed, so if you like something you better pick it up! You can check their facebook to do a little browsing but I highly recommend coming in to browse and sit in the furniture before you make a decision. One thing that really sold us on this place was the financing that was offered. It's something like 100 days with no extra fees to pay off your furniture -- after that marked date there's a pretty big markup. Here's the really nice part: the guy who owns the place will help you figure out if the piece you're looking at financing is a good financial move for you. He'll help you calculate what your monthly payments would work out to be and even advises you not to buy something if you can't pay it off within the time before the extra markup kicks in. You can tell that he cares about the customers and wants them to have a good experience. I appreciate that SO MUCH. We love our couch and actually just paid it off this week. It fits perfectly in our house - the store has measuring tape for you to borrow - and really elevates our living room. We paid probably $60-$80 for delivery from this location to St Louis Park. It was a no brainer. Delivery setup was easy and speedy. Just keep in mind that all sales are final and that their stock is here today and gone tomorrow!

I've been to this location a few times to pick up frames and mirrors. They have a humongous selection of furniture. I haven't found any pieces I personally liked, but if you're looking for basic table stands, coffee tables, chairs, you're going to get a great deal here. Several months ago my boyfriend and I had been looking for really large gold mirrors with intricate details on the frame. I needed about 3, but everything brand new was at least a couple hundred dollars. I discovered this place and picked up 3 large beautiful, sturdy, quality mirrors for $90. They were sold individually, but I asked for a deal and they gave me one, no problem. I also found a 6 foot tall, 4 foot wide mirror for $40! Everyone loves this piece in our home and comment on how expensive it must have been. We came back here recently hoping for the same 6 foot tall mirror for our new bathroom. I planned on spray painting the frame to make it fit the design in the bathroom, but all of the ones they had left were damaged. The guy working there was really helpful. He checked in several different areas for potential mirrors and made a suggestion for us to switch a frame on one mirror to another that didn't have broken glass. He even asked the owner to give us a discount, $30 for both mirrors since they were damaged. Too bad for us, the mirrors were slightly different sizes and it didn't work. We ended up taking one with a corner that came undone, we just need to glue it back together. We took it up to the owner and he gave it to us for half off, it came to 17! You can't get a mirror this size for a better price! The worker helped us load it and pulled cardboard to wrap the edges to make sure we'd get it home safely. The people here are really nice and helpful. You'll find some great deals.

Holy. Hotel. Furniture…read more As a recent transplant to Minnesota outfitting a new apartment I wanted to furnish my apartment stylishly and cheaply. I scoured craigslist/furniture clearance stores for days on end and found some nice stuff-- but since I drive an Impala, it's rather impossible to fit anything in my car, and I found the furniture stores offered hideous products within my price range. But this place prices were AWESOME. Granted, stuff is used (with an occasional cigarette burn or questionable stain), it's no furniture showroom (Never have I seen so many couches stacked up in a room), and of course there are some glaringly UGLY pieces. Nice thing is--the quality is there (albeit you may have to SEARCH for it), the prices meet or beat Craigslist prices, and THEY DELIVER. I purchased a couch, end table, and nightstand for under $200 bucks with delivery and tax included. Not too shabby. If you don't mind sifting and doing a little extra inspection I would highly recommend Hotel Furniture Liquidators to anyone looking to purchase furniture for the first time without breaking the bank.

I had a 40 year old teak dining table top that had gone through a lot. A daughter allowed a candle…read moreto melt on it. Someone had used a sharp knife on it. A kindergartner had put a school project on it while the glue was still wet and when he lifted up his project, a weird pattern of the wood stain was gone! Luckily the base of the table was in very good condition. Last summer, Danish Teak Classics worked a miracle. My table top looks like it did when it was new and we both were 40 years younger. The staff hauled the table top to & from my hatchback and wrapped it in a new movers quilt when I hauled it home. I highly recommend their restoring services.
