Getting in and out of here is challenging. The Rio Complex is huge. Then again so is this Target. Was pleased yesterday, to get a new Bluetooth speaker, as have to get bass and sound quality up. This is one of their busiest locations. Yet they seem to always have what's in stock. That's not always guaranteed. This company and others online counts aren't necessarily accurate. Yet this stores batting average is excellent. Got a nice deal, and the lines weren't too bad. This is a large location. Good employees and value for your money. That's plenty of enough reasons to go here.

HEALTH HAZARD. I'm seriously considering reporting this target to the department of health because this is the second time I have purchased a dairy item from them that has been expired. There is no reason why my cream cheese that I purchased last week should have a best used by date of December of last year. I am sick!

Love being able to put together my grocery list at 1am and then having 3 days to pick up curbside . So convenient . So safe . Store employees are prompt and friendly.

Nice location at Rio. Very organized and easy to find aisles. Like the Electronics section, Clothing sections, food and drinks, Household items, personal care, and a Starbucks inside. Decent store and ample parking at the garage. Sale items are clearly marked and can find what is needed easily. Waiting in line to check out can be a hassle, though. Sometimes the Self Checkout registers are off or not working, so just one employee could be ringing people out. Can be a long wait if it's really packed. They also have escalators and elevators for your convenience. A decent retail store for the most part...

This is one of my preferred Targets in the DMV area. It's two stories, almost always fully stocked and very clean. The employees are kind and respectful, especially during COVID times. I personally love their "dollar value" section. Everything is under $5 and above average quality.

Visited the outdoor shopping center at Rio in Maryland and visited Target which is always great when you are on need of supplies, OTC medicine or just to look around for ideas. Windy day so it was nice to find this location and spend some time.

    Bag of mold for $8.

I waited in the long line to buy my bag of potting soil. Drove home, opened the bag to find it filled with mold. Okay, not their fault I guess, drive back, wait in customer service line. Finally gets to my turn, and at this point it's been an hour of my time to buy a bag of soil. Can I do an even exchange? No. So I have to get back in the line again for my new soil? Yes. Can I check it first to make sure it isn't moldy? No. Can an employee check? No. So I have to get back in line, pay, then if it's moldy again you want me to get in this customer service line again and wait again to return it and repeat this process until I get a bag that isn't moldy? Yes that's our policy. If that's their policy, Target is garbage. If that's not their policy and they're just hiring lazy workers, Target is still trash. Turned out the price was wayyy cheaper at Home Depot anyway. I thought people came here for cheap prices but it's: A ripoff Poor customer service Old moldy products Waste hour and a half of my time Target has become the new Walmart, AKA the place I'm embarrassed to be seen because it's for rednecks who don't know any better.

11/21/21 After the party and after Kohl's, It's off to Target for the underwear show. I did not find the u underwear size I need, but this Target had a lot more of the v shaped purple underwear by A Pair Of Thieves Once again I was looking for the Extended Breifs in XL, but the biggest they had were large. I am no longer a size 36 to 38. It would be nice, but my butt is a little bigger than it should be...no it not, it is my gut that is bigger. I don't have an ass like Olivia O' Lovely. If I did, my wife would have questions on her mind. Anyhow, I asked an associate for assistance, but this was her first day on the job and did not know how to look up things on her PDA. She got me someone who could help me and he look for it in the stock rooms. Unfortunately, this Target did not have it. I appreciate the effort he went through. At one point in time, I did not think Target have good clothing. This was because I replace my wardrobe with Kohl's Department Store Merchandise. I have since been replacing my Underwear with A Pair Of Thieves underwear, under shirts, tank tops and socks. Some other clothing like sweaters have been added too. I might end up finding something else this year for Winter. I am happy to say Target has some good shit:) Oops, sorry for the cheap vulgarities, but the sentence completes the whole review on how I feel about Target.

    Groceries well stocked during covid-19
    Stephanie T.

I've been stopping by this Target to pick up staple purchases for my family since I'd rather have me go than them. It's like the tables have turned, with me telling them that they can't go out and there's food at home. Teenage victory. For those wondering how this location has adapted to this covid-19 normal, they are doing a really good job at following rules and precautions. I saw all employees in facemasks and gloves, posted hour changes on all doors, covered trashcans, and an employee wiping down carts at the entrance. Each time I go, the paper towels, toilet paper and cleaning products have been emptied, with aisles looking like an abandoned ghost town. I'm not sure of their stocking schedule, so it could be me going at bad times. There are notes taped to the aisles about quantities, though. A bit of a warning: I did try to return something and was told no returns accepted between 3/26/20-4/26/20. Actually, she pointed to the sign and walked away, which seemed a little crass. Sensitivity and kindess go a long way during this time and I genuinely had no idea of the policy switch.

    Auto supplies like windshield solution?

They sure do! Tip is to find the one you need online on their website and it'll tell you exactly which aisle to look in! If I remember correctly, it's on the first floor in the right corner after the aisle with the vacuums!

It has taken me several weeks to add this review; however after discussing with family and friends,…read moreI realized that I would be remiss if I didn't share my experience with other potential customers. My family and I are big advocates for supporting local businesses rather than big box companies. However, we expect from all, big or small companies, respect and exceptional customer service. This is not what I experienced at this store. I went into the store looking for a sectional and possibly also a dining table. The salesperson was very attentive and willing to answer my questions. Before purchasing the sectional, I decided to check out other stores that same day to make sure I was getting a relatively good price and wasn't missing out on something else. I returned to the store the next day with the intention of buying the sectional but this is when it turned.... I asked the salesperson if the price for the sectional was the best given I saw another couch very similar at another store for less. He told me to speak to the owner regarding the price. I told the owner that I saw a similar couch for less and he told me they weren't the same. Of course I knew that! I asked him what the difference was and he gave me a short response - the quality. Ok... that was a general response so I asked further, "what about the quality?" He answered, I don't know how to explain. After a few seconds, he said.. the fabric.. warranty. Alright so then he asked me "is this your first time buying a couch?" And I said, yes. He then looked at the salesperson and said, "you see". He then said, "how old are you?" I responded, 34. He then he said "you're researching like you're 17". I was dumbfounded. It was insulting as if age had anything to do with this. He was alluding to my ability to purchase furniture, lack there of. I walked out and will never return. He tried to say that I "looked 17" which was even worse given I am a grown woman and want to be treated as such. Age has nothing to do with shopping for furniture!!! If I didn't sound "informed".. take the time to educate me, your customer, as that extra step may take you a long way! Maybe it will get you more business vs. losing it. Respect and customer service is key!!!

This dude was so instantly nasty to me, dismissive, condescending, just awful. I literally don't even know what I did wrong but try and buy a stack of books and try to get a discount cos I was buying a whole stack! Never ever before met a rude person here in the twenty years I've been coming (since before ravens stadium was built and they were across the street). I've bought thousands of dollars worth of appliances here (2 $500 stoves, a $1000 fridge, two dishwashers, and two washers and dryers), not to mention hundreds upon hundreds worth of lumber, trim, windows, doors, miscellaneous hardware, etc. I bought 400 dollars worth of upholstery cloth one time alone. I come in, I don't mess around, I know what I need and I am a friendly nice customer. (Because they use your phone number when you buy, also? they should be able to SEE this). I was buying BOOKS. Books are not their main business (and to be honest their prices are so out of scale it's crazy compared to thrifts--10 dollars each for a used hard over cover book from the 80s? I think there was one vintage item or two--I collect golden book kids encyclopedias) In the past they've basically tried to GIVE me books I wanted to buy! I wasn't buying anything from the "special glass cases. I asked Josh what they could do for me on these 20 books that I promise no one wants. (I promise). I picked up so many cos I have always been given a little break on stuff here! It's literally the way I thought they do business!!!! Nope. Not a single red cent. Off ANY book EXCEPT one they wanted 20 dollars for that didn't cost 20 new! (No it was not old or vintage!) I had 100 bucks of books in my cart he couldn't do 80? He wouldn't even discuss it and when I was frankly totally taken aback by this since it's so counter to EVERY EXPERIENCE IVE HAD THERE FOR OVER 20 YEARS--he threatened to call security on me!? For trying to bargain?????? These were all crap books. I want them for myself and to show my husband AND I make art from them. I'd have paid literally 10 for every set of four of these books at thrift. They wanted 10 and 15 dollars EACH. It wasn't just he wouldn't deal at all on price. He treated me like a criminal for no reason at all. He had his hand on his walkie talkie and when I kind of laughed just thinking he was driving a bargain he said he was going to call security on me!!!! He did this because I had the temerity to say "come on, not any discount at all? I'm buying in bulk!" And I mentioned I've never had them not come down on price on anything ever! I am a short, friendly 53 year old mom. fyi. What the living heck is going on with this place? It was SUCH an unpleasant and weird experience. I feel horrible. I will take my business to loading dock.
