This store is my new favorite. I would say this Target is about 5 times better than the old one at Newpark Mall. At the NPM Target, I was rarely able to find things I need or get help from the staffs. This new Target seems to be well stocked and better organized. I see they retained some of the good service staffs from the NPM store. And the new staffs are much more friendly than the old store. Overall, a happy and welcoming store. The store is easy to get to. The traffic is always smooth even during the holiday rush. There is ample of parking, including EV plug in which fits the culture of the Bay Area and Fremont. It's surrounded by a good mix of stores which compliment each other such as Lowes, restaurants, theater, and more, all in driving/walking distance. I can easily spend an hour or an afternoon in this area getting all I need to get and all I want to see. read more

Just moved into the area and I'm glad to have this Target near me. It seems to be a newer store. Their team members are always so friendly whether or not I ask for help (something I don't get at Wal-Mart) and the store is clean whenever I stop by. There's plenty of parking in front of the store and charging stations for the electric cars. This Target could not be in a better place with stores like Costco, Lowes, Old Navy, Kohls, and restaurants near by. read more

I just moved to Fremont when this was being built and it's still such a pretty store! It's HUGE and really clean. I love Target just to even go and look around. Especially during the holidays, the atmosphere is just so cool. I've never had any problems with the employees here and everyone has always been really helpful. read more

A big negative is that this store only allows 2 of the same coupon to be used, even if the coupon itself says you can use up to 4. It runs counter to all other promotions like Cartwheel where it will apply to 4 items. Nowhere in the store policy says this fact to let shoppers know. They also said it was against store policy to allow rolling over the gift card deals onto another transaction. If you find yourself in this situation, just request the $5 in cash which they must give according to California civil code. Just beware of their "store policies" which seems draconian compared to other Targets in the area. Ask the manager up front what they will allow if you're going to try to save money with coupons. read more

Huge new target! Great variety of things at great prices. Also, conveniently located near many other stores.

They closed the weird two floor old Target at Newpark Mall and opened a bigger and better store here. This location is nice and clean for right now, maybe because its new. It has a pretty big grocery section as well. The prices are comparable to Safeway so bye bye Safeway. This target also has a Starbucks and mini pizza place inside with a nice sitting area which is hidden away from the store which is nice. That sitting area has big plate windows so you can just sit and sip your coffee and watch people walk by and forget that this is still Target. Their electronics section seems to carry a little bit of the most important computer stuff like portable hard drives or laptop chargers which is helpful. Also now Target will match prices with Amazon.com so that to me was a huge plus. I scan every item to see if Amazon has it cheaper and then get it right away here. read more

Spacious parking lot, clean store, lots of products and easy checkout. I love coming here more than most stores, because of those reasons! It's great to be able to go to a big store on the weekend and not feel crowded or stressed! The only thing that I don't like is the return center. I've returned things a couple times and each time, it was a serious pain "We don't carry that item"... really? I bought it here 2 days ago. ended up returning it to another Target with no issues. This target is the best of them all. I personally love going to it because their stuff is so easy to find. However, their price tags are placed wrong and not clear at all. Their staff is the biggest problem. I was asking this one staff named Haley for help on finding an item then she walked away pissed because I was asking her to show me where that item was. She was very rude and immature and from what I have seen she is in her early 20s. She usually is monitoring the cashiers and she just doesn't know how to help customers therefore she is useless. If you ever need help do not go to Haley, she will not help. Please avoid her. read more

Went to buy a lot of Target store gift cards as holiday presents and they were out, totally cleaned out. According to two people, it's because they had a big 10% off sale, but that was weeks ago. Come on Target management at Pac Commons! This is like running out of ice on a July 4th weekend, especially right before the holidays. Went to Target at the Fremont Hub and they were VERY well stocked. Large supply on hand. Someone didn't get their orders in on time or didn't plan properly. read more

Just had the emblem stolen off my car in the parking lot. Broad daylight. Nothing they can do. I reported it to Security anyway. Just sucks.

Doesn't have good understanding of customer service. I tried to exchange an item (receipt on hand) for different size purchased at another store location on same day. Manager informed me that due to their policy exchange because people would rip Target off by purchasing an item and return to another store. 1st of all, I didn't want any money back. I just want to get the right size. 2nd of all, I had been accused and found guilty of trying to rip off Target. What is the value of having a receipt if not going to be honored especially if it's a fair exchange? These managers need to think their policy through. I fully understand I'm not in Nordstrom. :( read more

I decided to go shopping today reference of my kids to school. I have a wedding to have yoga just getting over being sick. I went into the store to get a few things and then taking a little longer and all of a sudden it started to dump, pouring rain. I hurried up and brought an umbrella from target and wasn't my sure how is going to get to my car that was parked halfway down the parking lot with a basket full of groceries, a baby, and slippers on. I think it was the manager, maybe all three of them were managers but I know for a fact two of them were. They came up to me to my car with my daughter while I ran and got my car. They then ran out and loaded my car full of groceries. The other gentleman with his Sunbrella escorted me with my daughters to the car seat so I can put her in. I just want to say this is one of the best experiences I've ever had anywhere. I am amazed impressed and extremely grateful for the help that the morning crew at target did for me today. Ty again to the crew that was working this morning! Throughout the whole store I had received the most customer service I've ever received at any target.!! read more

I love target as a store, but target you really need to get careful in hiring people and how they treat your customers. We are paying money not to be ill treated and lied about things. This girl at target mobile gave us iphone 16 GB saying we dont have 64 GB and then offering 64 GB to the person behind us and when questioned she had the guts to say the other person asked before you. I used to go to Target for my usual shopping but not anymore. Last week I went to but iPhone7+ as they had some promotion going on. 7 hours and 5 orders later they tell me that they cant sell me the phone. Worst experience ever!! this is how they treat a customer who want to but something for 800$$. On top of that they were not even sure what the issue is. They kept placing order again and again to see if it goes through. They are not even ready to honor the promotion later when their buggy systems start working properly. Beautiful store, the selection of items are endless,but who wants to go to a store and be treated like a criminal. Well thats how the manager made my mother and I feel today while in the store. I was returning my Christmas present that my mother purchased for me today, the customer service rep was very knowledgeable, we showed her our electronic receipt and was going to put it on a gift card because my mother wasn't sure how she paid for it. Come to find out it was paid for with a debit card. The CSR advised us the payment will be returned in cash because she paid with her debit card. And Laura rushes over and said "are you returning cash we don't return cash." We all know that's not a true statement if I purchase something with cash or debit card which is the same as cash I am entitled to the same. She then requested we show her the receipt again. She just didnt make the CSR look as if she didn't know her job,but treated us as if we were up to no good. I should be treated like any other customer when at Target. The color of my skin shouldn't change the return policy. read more

I really loved this target location because it was clean and the lines are short. Plus, its only a block from my work- convenient. Unfortunately, recently they have upgraded (more like down grade, if you ask me) to 4 SELF CHECKOUT's. Do any of you dread self check out as much as I do? Well, register 8 had 3 people in line and register 12 had 2 people in line, but the light was turned off. So I was like...I guess I will self check out. I look, and 3 out of the 4 self check out registers had blinking lights and a lady just beat me to the last open self check out. So I walked back and waiting at register 8 since register 12 was closed (light off= close). I waited 10 mins and it was finally my turn. The lady at register 8 told me the lady on register 12 would help me, BUT I had to stand in line again! Uh, if you were going to close you should have told me before I waited 10 mins in line. Then the lady at 12 turns on her light...seriously?. At this point there is only 1 register open and they call someone to open register 10. Once the lady arrives she asks the person behind me to move over to register 10. I was here first! Even the customer had the curtesy to ask me to go first. Come on target, you can do better. read more

While I generally love this Target and the welcoming atmosphere it gives off, I have to bring attention to the fact that the technology department is not what I'd expect from Target. While I was at Target last night with my family, we kept asking one of the employees in that department for help, but he kept putting us to the side, most probably because of our young appearance. I can't recall the name, but he had a beard if that's of any help. He was beyond rude, and when he was finally free to help us, he kept ignoring our questions to continue on with his own work. When he finally responded to one of my questions, he answered so condescendingly that I was appalled Target would hire such a person. The customer service at the technology department was below Target standard, and it disappoints me to say I will not be frequenting Target for anymore technology related items. read more

Friendly, courteous and very helpful customer service is what I got in the electronics department. My intent was to research a new DSLR camera. I found a great bundle deal but there weren't any in-store. Both staff searched in the back of the store and also did a inventory search to find the product. She found it at 2 stores and gave me the product item number so I could call and easily have a staff member look it while on the phone. While I was there I was also advised of the benefit of having cellular service, upgrade and purchase done at Target. Both team members were smiling and as other people needed assistance they acknowledged them and advised them they would be there shortly. It is really nice when staff ask what your there for and also make you feel like they want your business. I know they don't earn commission but both staff were extremely helpful and I wanted to buy the product from them directly! read more

One of my fav targets. Mainly shop here for baby stuff. They have a good variety of stuff from clothing, home goods and even food. I'll give it a 4 star in terms of their products. Only thing I've noticed is that some of the young employees who work in Customer Service are not helpful, professional or know the policies. I specifically asked Holly from guest services to hold an unopened/undamaged mini fridge for me (as I could not fit it in my car and I would have to come back to pick it up). She took my name and informed my girlfriend and I that it would be okay to pick up so long as I could be back before closing time at 10pm. I told Holly that I would try to be back within the next hour, but assured her that I would be back before closing to pick up the package. I came around 9 and she had informed me that she had released the item and sold it (which I believe was to a store associate whom was also looking at buying the same item). I was very upset that she informed and reassured me that it would be present when I returned, but only to find out that it was sold. I still purchased another (OPENED) mini fridge, but that is besides the principle. What was held for me should have been held for me as this is good business ethics (not an OPENED similar item). Great and clean store, but I don't recommend putting your items on hold as it will be released the second you leave the store. read more

My daughter and I went here for Black Friday(thanksgiving actually).....they were so friendly and organized. Justin, the manager, was very helpful and was prepared for the large numbers of people. The line to checkout was extremely long, but it went fast and our cashier was friendly. We will be back next Black Friday. read more

Honestly, I love this target. Usually when I come here the employees and cashiers are so nice. But unfortunately I went into the electronics department today and I can say that was the worst experience I had at any retail store. They made me wait 20 minutes while they all just stood around and punched holes in papers. On top of that, the guy that originally helped me Lenard was a real asshole. The guy does not smile has horrible customer service and acts like a total smart ass. You work at the electronics department at target relax. When I asked why they made me wait so long while they all stood around the one guy just giggled and said "oh I didn't know if you were ready." I mean I was standing there for 20 minutes staring at you because no one told me my product was ready. Decided to complain to guest services. They also told me that people constantly complain about them. I just hope they get rid of that Lenard guy. read more

I love this Target. Not sure if its meant to be a super target or a normal target, but its huge. Lots of parking and love the new look. The one in the mall was getting old and didnt have a great selection. This one has a great grocery selection to. Best time to come is in morning on weekdays, easy to park right outside the doors and you can speed through check out.. read more
