I usually go to the Target at Spectrum or the one on Culver since they are much closer to me since I live in Irvine. BUT my child has recently become obsessed with the Chuck-E-Cheese nearby it's convenient. As mentioned this location is not as large as the Spectrum Target but I don't buy my groceries at Target so I don't really care. I found their selection on costume jewelry much larger and better than other said locations. I was specifically looking for earrings to match a dress. They had just what I was looking for. I also picked up a pair of Elmo socks for the kiddie and for $1 it does not get much better than that. On a disappointing note they didn't have the shoe I came in for in the same color (black) they have online. Bummer! Very sweet and understanding about the situation but the woman in beauty was so rude we told him that we were tempted to put all of our things back and go to another store... atrocious experience. Today I went to this Target and returned two bottles of baby wash and lotion that I used. I found out that my baby was allergic and has eczema so I had to stop using them. Right after I returned them I went shopping in the baby section and not even two minutes later a worker was there putting those bottles back on the shelf! That is not ok! These products are for newborns and there should be extreme caution when it comes to their products. I cannot believe that they were putting out unsealed used things for other people to buy! I think the workers need a talk about safety or at least about selling items that are not new because after I took those items back to the front and told them the situation the two girls did not act as if they cared at all and kept asking me if I was sure! Of course I was sure it was the right lotions/wash, you can clearly see they have been opened and used and the exact ones I returned 2 minutes beforehand. I ordered a $159.00 Stok Grill online & opted for the 2 year warranty. My grill was delivered a week later and right out of the box, the screw that attached the wheel was broken. Since I had the 2 year warranty, I called up customer service to ask what I should do and I was told that I had to bring the item to the store to request for a replacement to be shipped to me. When I got to the Target in Foothill Ranch, CA -- the first girl at customer service had no idea how to help me. She couldn't find the SKU of the item, she couldn't find it on the computer, despite the fact that I had the product return label in my hand, as well as the shipping / package label that came with the box and the email confirmations that came with my grill. She told me flat out that all she could do was return my item, despite the fact that I had the warranty, and that what I had to do was go online and try to but the item again. When I said that I had bought the item with my 5% pharmacy awards and that I wanted to b able to use them again -- she told me that I should " call customer service and fight them until they gave you the 5% discount again." She turned me over to another associate named Ruth, who was much more professional and prepared to deal with the return. Still, all they could do was return the item for me. I was refunded on my Target Red Card for the grill, but Ruth was unable to refund me for the $17 I spent on the 2 year protection program offered by Target. She told me that I would get that return via a gift card and that I should watch my email for that return. Ruth bought me a coffee to help make me settle my frustration. I really appreciated her help, but it seems so silly that I bought the 2 year protection program but no one at Target could help me replace my item and their only alternative was for me to return the item altogether. After leaving the store, I got an email saying that the $17 gift card that was going to be mailed to me was canceled because of an issue that was not explained in the email. I had to call customer service again to ask why they were not refunding me for the protection program when Target asked me just to return the item. Target clearly dropped the ball with this protection program. Why spend more money on the so called warranty when no one at the store or from customer service is able to give you a replacement for the item? I should have gone with Amazon for the same price and 2 day shipping for free. I bought this grill from Target because this is my favorite store but I will definitely think twice about buying something like this from Target ever again! I wasted a good 2 hours on the phone and waiting at the store while Customer Service tried to figure this situation out. Especially impressed with Molly. It never fails that when I'm there I see her stocking the shelves and getting interrupted by various people, including myself, lost and needing help. Molly always assists with a big smile and utter kindness. She doesn't seem to mind being pulled away from her tasks and finding the items people need. I had to stop and ask for her name so I could call it out. Any other target that I have been to the staff is less than pleased to see you. Yesterday I went into return somethings and do some quick shopping. The staff was super friendly and I found some great deals using my cartwheel app! I stopped and got my flu shot at the pharmacy and they gave me a free $5 coupon to spend in the store. Huge shout out to Rachel at the check out, she saw me struggling to use my coupons at self checkout and she when above and beyond and basically checked me out herself at self checkout. This Target is HUGE! We just moved and we did our shopping here for the basic necessities. The employees were really nice and welcomed us to the neighborhood. I was disappointed in the 50/50 blend salad that we bought from here. It was mushy with dirt when I opened the container. We'll definitely come back but I won't buy that salad again! read more

The pan handling outside the store is definitely gone now which I am glad. Yay!! I have been back to target numerous times already. The employees are pretty nice and courteous. I love going to target because it is clean and tidy. I get most of the things I need from Target. If you are in need of a child luggage, go to Target because Walmart doesn't have any kid's luggage in stock at their store. I love Target. I usually go to the one on Los Alisos b/c it's the newest one in the area and it has everything I need. I went to this Foothill Target and was disappointed at what I found. I would give them a 4, but I came for some beer. They don't have any. I shrugged it off. I went to get some Vanilla Coke. They don't have that too. Just pick up some stuff and went. This location is consistently clean and well-stocked. It's smaller than the locations at the Irvine Spectrum or in Mission Viejo off of Jeronimo, but what it does have is always available and shopper-friendly. I always find that the cutest clothing/shoes are sold out in my sizes here-- all the size small girls that wear 7.5 shoes must live in Foothill Ranch like me and have good taste like me. Just kidding. :P Often the clothing/accessories/food goes for less on clearance than at "bigger" locations-- maybe the volume here is just less, but I'll often find a top here for 70% off that I saw the night before at the Spectrum Target for 50% off-- so I always browse the clearance here for deals. I would give them five stars, but they have limited grocery availability-- I like the idea of Target becoming my one-stop shop more and more, like the locations at the Irvine Spectrum or in Mission Viejo off Jeronimo are-- but I can't get my cans of Manwich at this location, so boo. read more

I like this place but I'm more of a Wal-Mart guy. I specifically go in looking for movies and if both locations have it, Wal-Mart is usually cheaper. If you go to Wal-Mart too many days in a row, you'll want something different and that's when I come to Target. They have groceries and most of the things you'll find at Wal-Mart but I think they actually have a better selection of movies here. They're not always on sale though, so I end up just shopping more than buying. Sometimes they'll have a great sale on a New Release, so you don't have to wait for the price to drop. I think I picked up The Expendables here for $6.50 when it was out on DVD for about 2 weeks. Always nice to have options read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - Foothill Ranch, California

It's a Target. The biggest difference between this one and others is that they lack self-checkouts compared to those that used to be solely human cashiers and installed self-checkouts over time. But even though there are only human cashiers, they worked faster than the branches that possess self-checkouts. They have a lot more inventory availability than some of the other branches in this area. They still had some Pokémon games left in stock while other branches did not during the Pokémon promotional period. And they had the free cards as well during the giveaway day, and they were nice about it even though I was mostly getting them as a proxy for someone else. The only issue I had at this location is that there was a high-end beggar outside, while the branch at the Marketplace has a sign that states they'll throw people out by comparison. read more

Little disappointed in my experience tonight. We were looking to buy a t.v., easily $800 an up. No one working in that department. Also went to the front desk to ask for the next day's ad or just info if TV's would be on sale. I was told they did not have the ad yet and if they did they couldn't divulge that info. Walked outside the store and the ad is all over the internet. Not the best customer service and I used to be a Target employee so I know they have the ad Saturday night to set up for Sunday. I love this Target. I grew up in Foothill and this has been my spot for years. Currently there is a Hispanic manager, I think his name is Julian? I'm not sure, but he is always super friendly and helpful. Even observing the way he treats the other employees is super refreshing. There's nothing worse than witnessing a manager talk down to other employees, esp right in front of customers. This manager does the exact opposite. He always seems to be in a good mood, very motivating and eager to help customers and employees in any way that he can. Been meaning to write this review for awhile now, but I could never catch his name. I believe I saw Julian on his tag, but I didn't have my glasses on LOL! This Target is very Racist and lacks good customer service I came in their today to buy a couple of personal items when I got to the checkout lane 8 the cashier was very rude I ask her if I can go run and grab cash real quick and she told me no I insisted her to suspend my transaction which she did while I went to grad cash I came back and asked if I could go to self self-checkout and she told me no cause I already had your transaction up then I asked is their a problem with me going to self-checkout so instead of her handing me my items she walked all them all the way over to guest service then I had to go grab a basket to put my items in and walk back to self-checkout to checkout then I noticed that the wash scrub I had was damage I asked one of leads if they could grab me one they sent one of their guest service people to get it took him 20 minutes to try to find it so I ended up going to grab it my self because he obviously didn't know where they were I do believe they need to train some of their employees on good customer service and train them for each department that way they know where things are and it won't take 30 minutes to find things read more

I love Target. I buy almost everything I can there. This one is close but not the closest to my apt. I typically shop at this one cause it is nice and clean, and good neighborhood. I go every three weeks if not more. Never have any issues, I can get in and out if I need to. Staff is friendly and helpful. I noticed another yelper asked about Tiny, I miss him as well. He was super friendly and I loved going in his cashier line. I frequently return items as I prefer to try clothes on at home, never have an issue making a return. read more

Had such a terrible experience at Target twice in 2 days. Their return policy is so horrible. Trying to return an item that I bought the same day cuz my daughter accidentally grab the wrong item. So i went back to return it, 6 hours later but different Target. They told me that I cannot return it cuz the item is not on their system yet. The lady said that I can go back to the same Target where I bought it I can return it the same day. But I can return it tomorrow in any branch after 24 hours. So I went back the next day and they cannot find the item. I use my Target card and I have a receipt. How odd that you cannot return an item with receipt. I was so disappointed. read more

i call this my forgotten target both in a good and not so good way. the good: - well stocked of basic necessities - not crowded - fewer to no lines - one of the bigger targets - clean - a bit spacious on the parking the not so good: - behind on the upgrade - doesn't look like it's going to be any time soon - less variation of products overall, still the reliable go-to target we all know. i still find myself coming out with a target bag every time. *shame* i wonder if they will keep this store as it is or if it is lined up for a remodel. the latter would be preferable of course but who knows what's in store for this location. it leaves me comfort to know there is one nearby. read more

This target is very clean, the employees are very nice, and i live around the corner so It's convenient. The reason it gets a three is because it is smaller than the others, grocery section is nearly non existent, and stock doesn't come in as readily as the others ( or so it seems). read more

I came here for last-minute Christmas shopping and had a pretty good experience. It fulfilled all my Target-related expectations, and was a pretty standard visit. There was one weird thing though...at the food counter right by the entrance an employee was loudly commenting on the appearance of various female customers as they entered the store. Ridiculously annoyed. My mother and I get to the register and our laundry detergent is leaking. The man working at the cash register lets us know then runs over to the manager to tell them. They say "just put it here". The managers never sent a runner or anything, I felt bad for the young man working the register because he was concerned and tried to help while working a long line. I ended up running to the back and getting it myself after waiting 10min. Poor management. read more
