The store is pretty well organized and clean and I can usually find help form an employee when needed. That being said, this location has been horrible since the pandemic started. The check out process is a complete mess and employees are slow and inattentive. Last time we went, we were in a check out line for almost 20 minutes. We were next up and then they opened a new lane and brought over several people who were not waiting as long as us. The Target on Philadelphia in Chino has been much more organized and helpful during this time and I recommend that one over this location. read more

Bibiana helped me pul together my family Christmas Pijama theme, she went around looking for what I needed and gave me the best ideas to substitute the supply shortage. She made sure I got everything I needed for a perfect Christmas Holiday! I have been waiting for my drive up order for close to three hours. The app shows that they are just starting my order. This place is poorly organized. The drive up order parking space is crowded and the pick up section is full. I went inside twice to check the progress. No one could provide an update. The Target in west Chino is really good. We like to make an event out of each visit, so we do the loop! The loop is walking around the whole store, regardless if we need to buy anything from each department. This Target has everything we need, including $5.00 Blu-Rays. There is a decent selection of produce, pharmaceuticals, and things for the pets. This Target typically has everything I need, and sometimes things I do not need but they look cool for the price. The overwhelming majority of employees are friendly, helpful, and professional, and the cliental is very good as well. A community staple! read more

I love this Target. It's spacious and very clean. I went here on a Saturday night, and yes the economy is slow, but still very clean considering the mayhem of the weekend. I love their $1 spot coz they always update it unlike other Targets. Their clearance section here, especially the food have a huge selection. I like to do my snack shopping here coz so much of their food have sale prices that are highly competitive with walmart. Also, it's easier to find items here than Walmart so I prefer it. They always have their magazines here on the rack on Thursdays instead of Fridays. This is different than other Targets and stores. Their staff isn't the best but 75% i would say I encountered are very helpful; I don't completely blame them with minimum wage, but I use to work at Ross and the min wage was way less and I was a stellar employee. They offer 10% off magazines so never buy your magazines at a grocery store. 40 cent or 50 cent here and there save you in the long run. Their lines are never too long and they're good about opening registers. However, I still avoid target on sundays unless it's in the morning. That's the time it's chaos in here with people with their ad papers fighting over a spiral notebook or a high musical t-shirt. read more

Good target to go to can get crowded sometimes, but I haven't seen the lines get super long. They have everything you expect at a Target. They don't know how to handle registries here. Seems like the customer service lady didn't care or know what to do. When me and my fiancé went to register it was like so awkward and the lady didn't even give us the registry package/inserts they were supposed to, so I just went to another Target that wasn't clueless. So I'd recommend shopping here but if you're starting a registry go to another Target. read more

This used to be a great place to shop and it has gone so far downhill. Everything is a mess, there's nothing in stock, I walked past the stockroom doors when I was there last (they were wide open) and I couldn't believe how many boxes upon boxes and just pure MESS I saw in just a short few seconds. That's where all the stuff I can't find must be. The employees also seem so miserable and unhappy to be there, I can't blame them though. The bathrooms has been dirty and broken for the past year that I live here. It is awfully dirty, I'm COVID-19 times it is also a germ spreading ground. The faucets are malfunctioned, floor wet and filthy. Toilet sits are yucky. It makes me question the cleanest of the store overall and their management effectiveness. read more

Worst customer service ever! We got more than 6 formula milk from their staff who was really nice, carried 2 boxes for us from their warehouse, but the manager there won't let us pay for them! According to their ridicules policy!!! You should've have a sign for your customers and make sure everyone knows your "special" policy! Don't let them carry the whole cart to the check out point and then tell them you can't buy them! Wt... This Target doesn't allow same day returns. I haven't had this issue at any other targets. I purchased the wrong size of something and went to return it immediately. The employee said it wouldn't be in the system despite me having the receipt... I was literally there to purchase the same thing in the correct size. Wouldn't let me return it and told me to come back tomorrow. I asked if he could try to see if the system would allow it and he said he's "not allowed to try".... Super strange. read more

Went into target for a few things. This store was ok. There was a few areas with items laying on the floor and no one picking them up. I am not sure, why not, and then why do people just drop items in the floor and walk away??? WTF is that? Do they just have little respect or are just the lowest life of scum on the earth? I think the store should keep up on the cleaning and restoring items on the floor back to the shelf. if someone just leaves an item on the floor the store should ask them to leave. Target, Get the people out there doing their jobs and keep the floor clean and shelf's neat. Come on someone works there don't they??? I know its not all your fault but come on... The workers at this location are very friendly and helpful. I stop by during my lunch breaks from time to time while running errands and they're always willing to stop what they're doing to help you find what you're looking for. Earlier today I came by to grab some necessities and in addition, I wanted to buy the new chipotle ranch hot Cheetos. I scoped out the chips aisle and couldn't find them so I asked one of the workers (I wish I got her name)! She walked me up and down some aisles and was bummed she couldn't find them either but she went above and beyond to help me find em. Today I received a call from my sister telling me the gift card I purchased at this store for my niece did not work or did not have money on it. They go to the same store and when they tried using it the cashier gave them attitude about how the card didn't work and are you sure you got it as a gift?! Wth?!! So today after I shopped I went to customer service to ask if I bring that card in, can they look it up on my red card and she said no I have to have the receipt. Target employees need to stop talking to each other like your on the playground and do your job!!! When I'm shopping im constantly seeing employees goofing around gossiping and complaining also giving staff meetings, stocking shelves while we are trying to shop and playing on their phones while we are at the register!!! Do your jobs by cleaning the store and paying better attention to your customers and the task at hand so I won't be embarrassed and get another call from someone telling me you didn't activate my gift card I just bought! Worst customer service. I had a manufacturer's coupon for a bag of dog food. After the cashier had problems with coupon, the team lead was acting as management. He didn't know much, nor did he care about customer service. He refused to accept the coupon for no reason than the cashier said it wouldn't scan. He was not friendly, or courtesy. This location is where my love for target began. I visited last night, and thought I should share how the customer service at this location is so good. I was in need of last minute grocery shopping at around 10:30 PM (30 mins before closing), and I thought the workers would want me to hurry me out. But, to my surprise all the workers who saw me shopping all asked if I was finding everything and if I needed help finding other items. Oh my was I surprised. The sales associate was unable to assist with a return for items on my baby registry, the manager was not trained to return items that showed purchased on the target registry because the store system did not allow to return. When I spoke to guest relations in Minneapolis, I spoke to a Courtney who called the store and promised me they would exchange my items for other products I registered for and to my disappointment they failed me a second time in 24 hours and driving to two locations. How is it that the stores and staff are not trained where it is streamlined and the Pomona store was able to do. What a big mistake Target. This is the last time I'm going to buy registry items for this last child of mine and will shop for my remaining items at your competitor Babies R us. read more

I've been to many many targets all in different cities. The is by far THE WORST one I've been to! Unfortunately this is the closest one to me. The store is a mess!!! The employees all look like high school kids and with the amount of employees working there, you'd think they'd be able to keep the store in order! Half the shelves are not stocked and empty and the other half is either on the floor or just all over the place. The bathroom is disgusting as well. Terrible. I come to this target multiple times a week and wow, the service I got was atrocious this time. We went and bought a book shelf last night, only to get home and it had no hardware. No big deal, I'll go to target in the morning and get some because, you know, they will take care of their customer. Boy was I wrong. I went at opening and asked if I could just get hardware for the bookshelf and basically I was told there is nothing they can do. I asked to speak to a a manager, they said there wasn't one on duty, and had me speak to the "acting manager on duty". He told me he couldn't do anything and I would have to go to a different location to correct THEIR issue. So I, the customer, was told I couldn't be helped and that I have to go to a different target to fix their issue... so they want me to waste my time and gas which is completely ridiculous. I don't complain about retail because I'm a former assistant manager at HD, but the assistance I received today was infuriating. They didn't want to help, when there was a quick and easy solution. Next time, get me your manager and take care of the customer. Due to the way I was treated and the lack of help I received I believe it's necessary to escalate it. read more

I absolutely love target but this one in particular is just sad. They never have a good amount of stuff in the bullseye section and some other sections. I went in the other day and they were sold out of eggs and yogurts. The lactose whole milk was gone as well. It wasn't even a busy day. It was a middle of the week. one time, I got an item at the bullseye section and went to the counter to pay and I was told they couldn't sell the item because it wasn't ringing up right and that they need to pull it out. Might I mention they were restocking that day and I just saw the lady put it there so I grabbed it. They had about 5 of those. They couldn't even tell me why they couldn't sell it to me. The Starbucks there is good with the drinks but when it comes to the cups and other tumblers they sell, it's like they never have anything new. Also when you ask the baristas they don't even know other cups Starbucks sells. Staff wise they are friendly and helpful both target and Starbucks but I will say they need more training and more knowledge of the stuff they sell. read more
