Pre-ordered an iphone 6 plus at this store and the sales associate said I would receive my phone over launch weekend. I had to purchase a $25.00 gift card as part as this pre-order. Turns out, Target has received NONE of the 6 plus phones and is still trying to string all pre-orders along. Target has been very misleading and I am very disappointed. This ordeal seems to be a marketing scheme...as you have to purchase a $25.00 gift card (money in Targets pocket) in order to complete your pre-order. I will never deal with Target again and would like to inform others out there what Target is doing is just WRONG! I would give Target a negative rating, but Yelp doesn't have this option. read more

Customer Service definitely has gone down the drain under new supervision. New faces on floor management, same faces on checkout and aisles. The difference -- the former floor supervisors are service oriented. The current floor supervisors' culture extends to old and new employees, and you can see and feel the low morale. Gone are the smiling and upbeat faces when you come in. Everyone's either too tired to address concerns, too busy to answer questions, or too grumpy or too lazy to go the "extra mile". (Specific example - Walter the check out employee), who used to be helpful but not anymore. read more

went here at 8:30am on a Saturday morning and got rudely reprimanded for opening a refrigerated door. It had painters tape to close it, but no signs. As far as I was concerned, maybe they taped it overnight and had not yet removed it. Target employee rudely snapped at me that they were taped for a reason...will be an extremely hot day and their not allowing customers to buy refrigerated stuff to keep the coolers cool I suppose. Suggest they put signs up and cones to prevent customers from shopping that aisle. Get it done before store opens! Poor customer experience at this location. Never coming back. read more

*AVOID THIS TARGET* I have a $100 Target Visa Gift Card purchased from the Buena Park Target. I was not able to use this card because it already had the funds drained from the account before I could use the card. Target failed to secure the card from a scammer who was able to steal the information on the card. I was on vacation (outside the Continental U.S.), the card was with me while I was on vacation, when it was used by another individual in Hemet at stores that I do not shop at. I also do not live anywhere close in Hemet and have no reason to visit the area. I followed all instructions provided to me by Target. However, my claim to recover the funds was denied because "an actual physical card" was swiped for these transactions. This is surprising since I still have possession of the card and have not shared the card with anyone. It wasn't even taken out of the packaging until I went on vacation outside of the Continental U.S. I have offered to provide Target and Vanilla Visa Gift Cards (the company that services the gift cards for Target) with my plane tickets and hotel check-ins to show that I was not even in the Continental U.S. when these fraudulent transactions took place. However, they refuse to even look at this information. Both companies are disclaiming any kind of responsibility. Employees at this Target refuse to even bring this to the attention of the General Manager saying that he would not be interested in speaking with me. Target does not seem interested that they are selling a product that is essentially worthless and that they are not able to safeguard gift cards that bear the Target logo and name. This is surprising considering the data breach that Target suffered in recent years. Target seems to have a major problem securing their customers' information and preventing their systems and gift cards from being hacked. They are also severely lacking in customer service and do not seem to care. I now have a $100 Target Gift Card that is essentially worth nothing. I would avoid the Buena Park Target. read more

Their returns/customer station is also a checkout which makes returns a pain in the you know what. Takes forever a lot of the time. This is the only location i've been to that has that type of layout, their return station isn't off to the side like other Targets. Horrible set up and so far my customer service experience was horrible as well. Would not return to this location. Love Target!! Pretty big and clean location and most everything that I've ever needed is always in stock! Employees are friendly and helpful. Also, it's always a plus when there is a Starbucks on site! My only complaint is that even though there's several checkout stands available, it feels like there's always very few open. I understand not opening many during slow times (morning), but even when I come in the afternoon/evening, I usually have to wait in a line of 3-5 people. read more

I've always enjoyed coming to this target even though it is a little bit of a further drive for me. It's always relatively clean on the inside and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Buena Park Target went from the best Target store to the worst. They limited your coupons to 4 manufacture coupons & 4 store coupons only. You can no longer use a coupon for your every day items. Corporate office states it is 4 coupons of the same item. Buena Park thinks they can make up there own rules. I have spent thousand of dollars at this Target but will now longer shop here. read more

GRRR. Can I first start out with the fact if any store is somewhat busy all the time to be more consistent with the stock!!! This place always is sold out on various products, but well stocked on similar ones!!! If it wasn't for the fact this Target sells liquor, not just beer and wine, I would never come here...that and the cashiers get irritated when you tell them an item was marked at a different price. I had to run to the Target Store in Buena Park, Ca. At 8pm Saturday night for organic teething tablets for my granddaughter. The store deserves no stars for the filthy way the store looked. Everything was a mess from the floor to the clothes and other items they expect us to buy that were on the floor. As I was making my way back to the baby section I had to keep stepping over items. There were other aisles that were very messy. The one thing that pushes me to write this review is the end cap by the baby section that had a light gray rocking chair that had black dirty stains on the seat, and a carpet that was very dirty and had marks on it. I can tell you that I will not be going back, but defintly going miles out of my way to other store chain. read more

This Target is in a pretty ghetto hood I guess. They have lots of merchandise locked up to prevent theft, which I get, but the employee would not even let me touch the product (cost $10) until my payment was processed, I had to pick it up when I was ready to checkout and was passed to 3 employees and they watched as I paid before they handed it to me, like I was just gonna grab it and run out the door.I dont steal and it's kinda insulting being treated like a shoplifter. I used to like going on this location. But when I went to customer service to inquire about Electronic Price Match they said they didn't. I asked if all Target have that rules coz I went to another location and they allowed me to show the picture I've taken and the manager went to the other stores website and matched it. If they say they don't do it that is fine. But I don't think it's ethical to say it out loud for your other associates and customers to hear while you're laughing while saying it. The target is big and it used to be really nice but now it looks unorganized. We went tonight around 8:30 pm and there were women's shoes scattered everywhere on the floor, it was the first thing we saw when we got inside, there was even shoes on the floor of the women's lingerie section.... move on and you see purses and accessories on the floor and some toys on the floor in the toy isle. I've never been to a target on a regular day and seen it in such a way. Expected for say Black Friday but for the middle of January? Hire more people or get the staff aware of what job is designated for who. Someone is gonna end up tripping over all the junk on the floor in various isles. read more

Yesterday I bought $50 in iTunes gift cards. Unfortunatly, the cashier laid them on the counter and didn't hand them to me, and I walked out without them. I realized it later in the night that I didn't have them. Today, I called and spoke with a manager, Danielle. After almost 2 hours of research, she discovered that I in fact did not get them, but the guy behind me in line picked them up and took them!! She immediately returned the cards, (therefore deactivating them) and reissued new cards. The fact that this manager took so much time out of her day to help me made me so appreciative and thankful. Although there is a Target a couple blocks from my home I drove further to this store to pick it up. I was not happy when I was informed that it was not in stock. Target target target!!! I can never go here in n out. The dollar section is my favorite!! I can literally shop for any occasion here and find something I like. From toys to make up. Even though I always spend more than I anticipate. I always leave satisfied. The employees are super nice. I rarely go in to the restrooms here but when I have gone they smell n look dirty. both family and women restrooms have been dirty the times I've gone in. This Target is nice and clean as other reviews note, but I'm giving it 3 stars for this visit because when we got to the checkout there were at least 3 people (with large full carts and no express) in each line with about four lines open. I expect more from a target. With so many people working in each store, the Target stores I typically go to are much quicker at opening additional lines as needed to avoid backups at the checkout. read more
