I used to shop there out of pure habit but then woke up and realized what a waste of time and money it usually turns out to be. Especially the way most of their clothing falls apart so fast. Many of the things I purchased at Target quickly end up in a landfill or at Goodwill. I've also noticed they make returning items overly complicated, which is obviously a waste of time, money and landfill space. Just be really sure that cheep piece of crap is in working order, etc. because it will be a pain in the ass to return it - even with a receipt and everything. I stopped shopping there several months ago and feel so much better now. I haven't stepped foot inside a Walmart in years. And let's face it - Target sucks almost as much as Walmart and it takes money away from the good quality local and independently owned businesses just the same. Sure Target sells some good useful products, but I would rather buy the same product somewhere online than shop at this impersonal chain store with an annoying atmosphere and a greedy business model, only slightly less lame and "evil" than Walmart. Target is also similar to Walmart in the way it treats it's employees poorly and knowingly makes a large percentage of its profits off of child and slave labor in China. I stepped into this Target the other day and man, was I blown away by the enormous amount of clothing they have. It 's a fairly large store and really packed to the brim with everything and anything Target carries. The clearance racks are packed with merchandise, more than any other Target I go to and that makes me happy! I love clearance sections! There are tons of employees on hand and I think I was asked at least 5 or 6 times if I needed help finding something. Their registers are set up funny though. You put your stuff on the belt, move to the end behind the screen so you can't see how much you're paying for stuff and if you have a coupon, the clerk has to go back over to belt area to scan it, ugh, too much work in my opinion. Overall, got my clearance shopping on and picked up my fave bag of gummy candy and made my way out. read more

The customer service here is excellent as long you remember to bring your receipt or card that you made the purchase with. Of course they have a deep selection and often good deals on things. I don't love it though... But I think mostly that's me because I don't really like shopping and especially in large stores. read more

Let me be the first to say, I hate SuperTarget. Yes, I do. It's so big I feel like I get lost. They have a larger selection and a partial grocery store, but really, who's going to shop for their groceries at SuperTarget? I like this Target because it's small, but still has everything you would hope to find in a store like this. The staff is friendly and the store is clean(not so much their bathrooms or dressing rooms though). I've never waited in line to pay for more than five minutes and as far as Targets go, this certainly ranks as number one for me. read more

I hate myself for loving Target, but it's a big store and they have what I need for household stuff, shampoo, batteries and I always seem to be able to buy what I need at a great price and/or on sale. Can't beat that! My biggest complaint is that it's such a big store that I end up having to walk all over the place to get just one little thing. Oh, and I end up buying something I don't really need, but is on sale or otherwise looks enticing. I'm not into the clothes, though they have some killer deals on some of their end of season stuff. Battled the Boulder traffic to purchase a $200 item that the Boulder Target stated they had 5 in-stock at the store. Well, they had zero stock of this item. How do you do an inventory and mis-place five $200 items? I would have given one star rating but the sales guy was very apologetic and couldn't understand either why he was showing 5 items in stock. Don't count on what you see on the website as being in stock. Hour of my day wasted...but hey I saved $200 dollars for some other store. read more

I want to state the obvious for a moment: Target's house-brand of clothing for men, "Mossimo", is the worst. Everything Mossimo is bad, from undershirts to shirts to shorts. I don't buy anything Mossimo. Target needs to dump them and go with a different design firm. As for the store itself, it is a Target, what's to say? I get my laundry detergent there. They have a selection of mediocre products -- you're better off getting name-brand sheets on markdown at Marshalls or BB&B, you're better off getting office supplies at Staples, you're better off getting kitchen items online, lightbulbs at Home Depot, and you're better off getting movies from Amazon *most* of the time. But if you just can't be bothered, or if you need something of middling quality, Target likely has something which will work...for awhile. read more

Pharmacy staff is not nice. Asked to step back for privacy which I completely understand and respect. I couldn't hear anything from the customer in front of me. This pharmacy is a disgrace. They filed a prescription with the wrong insurance despite being given the new information and overcharged my adult autistic son almost $200.00. They then refused to rerun the insurance as we were past 15 days since the transaction when we realized what they had done. The new insurance company confirmed that any claim could be rerun up to 90 days after the transaction. The insurer it was wrongly applied to is even owned by CVS - Caremark. That's a funny name for a company with pharmacists like Kayla at Target Boulder for whom taking advantage of a young autistic adult is no big deal. Uncaring and uninterested. I wanted a target product for my classroom. The delivery dates to my house and to the store were one day a part. There was no other date given. I needed to use my tax exempt number so decided to use the store delivery. After I ordered I learned that the pick up date could be up to 9 days after the delivery date with no explanation why. I will never again order from online Target. read more

This is overall a good Target. It's student-heavy customer base shows in the merchandising. Good location and open later than I'd have guessed. Sometimes they don't carry what I go in looking for but most of the time I have left content. I got a 16-piece set of silverware here (or was it 20?), and wouldn't you know it, only the four pieces of silverware that were displayed in the front of the box was there when I got home. I took it back a couple weeks later and they said that they couldn't look it up and couldn't take my word for it, so I had to eat the cost. read more

I'll preface this by saying its not about the pharmacy. This is one of the least pleasant Targets I've been to. My biggest complaint is that it's just poorly maintained. In the cosmetics and body care aisles, probably 30% of the items are out of stock at any given time and items are always unorganized and in the wrong place. That section of the store, including where the pharmacy is, seems to always be in a state of chaos. Also, the women's section is always overflowing with clothes and it's just generally overwhelming- unlike a lot of other Targets. This store is definitely sub-par to other Targets, especially given that it's located around a lot of nice and well-maintained stores in the area. read more

I love this Target except for one thing - they are consistently out of things on the shelves - very very poor stocking. AND, if you are trying to find an item that is hard to get, they do not get the website updated so you think they have it, but when you go in, they don't. Even if you report it to the customer service department, they don't change it. I have gone into this store several times looking for an item, and it continues to be out - this was in the grocery department, They don't stock enough of the item, so, if you hit it wrong, you may always miss it. Other than the stocking problems, I love the store. They have good sales, good closeout items, and they carry the stop of the line Cruelty Free items like Seventh Generation detergents, etc. They have a great selection of earth friendly, organic products, and the prices are amazing! I always buy my Seventh Generation items in this store, as well as Method, Tom's toothpaste, etc. I specifically shop for cruelty free products and I find most of them here. They now even carry Beyond a no corn, wheat, no soy pet food which my cats love! I only buy the best for my cats so I can now find a good dry food here to supplement the high end products I get at a local pet food store. I do like the customer service, someone is always asking me if I have found what I need, etc. Overall, this is a great store. Just want them to hire enough help to keep what I want on the shelves! read more

This is not a very good Target unless you are a college student. It specializes in the lower end merchandise, does not have the nicer stuff available at other Targets. I'm often frustrated when I see something on the Target website and then it is not available at this store. read more

This target needs some help with their bathrooms and cleaning. I literally hate going to the bathroom there. Doesn't matter what time of day it is there's no toilet paper, the floors are dirty, they're out of paper towels and until recently you had to put your purse on the floor. It's so consistent it's kind of amazing. Was just in an isle with hardened chocolate all over like no one had cleaned it all day. For being one of the biggest targets and in Boulder it's really disappointing. read more

Yeah I go to Target but reluctantly. This place is often out of stock on things and although there are some cute styles in the clothing, the fit is usually off and low quality. They have everything I need, and then more. What I like about this Target is it's location, couldn't be more central. I couldn't care less about the nasty PizzaHut that's included but the Starbucks is welcome. The best part is that they now have a fairly decent grocery section. They have it all and re-stock with a fury. This is the place to go for all the returning and incoming CU student body....and it shows. Thank GOD they have such a generous parking lot and traffic flow. The Boulder Target is one of the largest revenue producing stores in the chain and is also one of the stores they will test market new products. Nice to know we see these goodies first. read more

This morning Target in Boulder Colorado was going to have an opening hour for those who are ELDERLY 60+ and for those who have underlying health issues.People were on line including many young people. The store representitive came out and said there were very little paper products. The doors were opened and all those in line went in orderly and everyone went to paper items. Young people ran by those who were not quick and the toilet paper was gone!!! This was NOT why we came early to shop being over 65. A young man in a wheel chair gave his toilet paper to the first elderly lady who had been in line for 30 minutes before the store opened. None of the elderly could get the toilet paper!! As we checked out a young woman had a large bundle of toilet paper and a smaller one. She was young and clearly taking advantage. I spoke to a manager and suggested if you were going to offer this there should be some community sense. Managers stood around and did nothing in response only saying this was the first time this was offered. They suggested to call and pick up goods. I believe that Target charges to have you order and pick up so maybe you could waive that fee for those at risk and put those at risk Priority!!!! read more

Today I experienced a wrong charge again. This has gone on for years at this store. Most times I don't check my receipt until I get home, but today I looked prior to leaving. Sure enough, dental floss has a sign on the display; Buy 4 Get 1 Free. They charged the full $5.79 for all five. This store consistently can't seem to keep their computer system current with advertised specials. CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS FOLKS. Went above and beyond for me. I was getting my son settled in his new apartment for his fall semester and ran out of a medication I normally get filled at CVS, a drugstore not found in Boulder. I went to Target and almost panicked when they told me that it usually takes 24 hours to transfer a prescription. They told me they would see what they could do and within a couple of hours I had the needed medication. Love the efficient friendly staff!! read more
