I am very disappointed with the Dollar Spot. This location had racks completely empty. Teachers who shop at other locations have been posting photos of classroom materials purchased at their respective stores for the past 3 weeks and still very little at the Bolingbrook store. read more

Target's Motto of "Expect More, Pay Less" should be "Expect Less, Pay More". For starters, their return policy is the worst I've ever heard. I went to return one baby clothing item ($12.99) and one baby toy ($14.99) and did not have the receipt as it was a gift. When I went to return it, I was told I had to buy 2 different items, for the same prices I was returning, from the exact same departments. Well, much to my surprise, they didn't not have a very good selection of baby clothes at all, nor did they have much to offer in the toy selection. So, I decided to buy a $34.00 toy and a handful of bibs, valued at about $22.00. In the end, Target would have made an additional $28.00 profit from my returns. But, in the end, I was told they would only accept one bib ($5.99) in exchange for the $12.99 clothing. When I asked to speak to a manager, Kia (so called manager) approached me and said it was Target's policy to exchange item for item and there was just nothing she can do. When I voiced my disbelief, and asked her where it stated that on their policy, she it doesn't, but what it does state is "no returns w/o a receipt so you should appreciate the fact that I'm willing to give you an exchange" and then said "you aren't shopping at Walmart". Well, I just walked away and at this point refuse to shop at any Target Stores. read more

Good Target.. After they updated the store, and added groceries, it has been a great shopping experience. I usually grab an espresso from the Starbucks inside. It prevents me from driving a few miles for coffee. I still prefer to get meat from a Butcher in Plainfield or even Jewel. I like going to Target to assemble a quick lunch. So many options. They make it easy too. It seems like prices are pretty good too. This Target is near Five Guys, Burger King Kohls. Panera, Jewel. read more

okay so as a mom in her mid to late twenties, i have spent a TON of time in target, but this one, that i happened to stop at on a whim, takes the cake! whoever is in charge of their visual merchandising deserves an award. the store is so visually beautiful and flows and makes total sense. i will totally go far out of my way and pass a few targets in the process to come back to this location. read more

I picked up a top from a rack where everything was discounted, had it rung up and it wasn't discounted. I asked for a price check because the same item had multiples on that rack. Daisy checked it for me it wasn't on sale, okay no biggie but she was super rude about it. Not a great experience and not my fault that they were on the wrong rack. read more

It's been a while since I've had to shop for anything besides basic necessities. But after a recent move, I realized my kitchen utensils included a fork, a pan, and one spatula. I went in to Target, and was really amazed by the kitchen and home wares selection. I could have went hog wild, but refrained. But I did walk out of there with some nice kitchen tools, along with some bath towels and some cleaning products. The prices were definitely more than the Wal-Mart cheapies that I'm used to, but the quality was worth the price. I definitely will be back to this Target in the near future. I was kind of disappointed in one thing though, this Target is sans Starbucks. read more

The other day I called in advance to see if they had a product in stock and if they did I would be driving there within the hour to retrieve the item. They said that they had two in stock left and I proceeded to drive forty five minutes only to find out the the worker was incompetent and didn't do her job and physically look to see if there was actually in item in stock and only looked at the system. I used to work in retail and just because there is an item in the system doesn't always mean that there is that specific item in stock on the shelves. She should have gone out of her way and check to see if the item was in fact there, instead of just looking at the system to see if it was in stock. Instead of being lazy and incompetent she should have gone the extra mile and check to see, for it was a very specific item and would be easily to find in a specific department. read more

I grew up with this target- before it became "supertarget" I like the old one better, but the staff is always helpful and friendly.

I went to target 1/24/15 with my wife and friend. Went to the register with a few items. Almost all the items were priced wrong. As soon as I caught the mistake the register attendee whose name I cannot recall said "ughhhh, I only have four minutes left for this and I gotta go!" The manager came over and called on a person to check the first item and was told "someone moved that price tag in the wrong place, I can't honor that" my wife and I both got the impression she suspected that we moved the sign. Second item is rung up and the sign on those were incorrect. Third item I didn't notice until I got home. In front of a line of customers I was told "someone moved that sign I will not give it to you" by the manger with attitude of course and then the register attendee said my wife and I were "being a problem" (NOT have a problem) more than once and that we were "inconnivencing her." Manager was fine with the accusation and rude language from her subordinate. As much as I dislike Walmart, I will go there were I am not a "problem." The fact of the matter is both manager (white blonde medium build lady whose name I believe was Amy) and the Attendee (African American medium set lady) have got to get trained on how to talk to customers. I am fine if you cannot give me the price but don't call me a problem or accuse me of moving a sign. read more

I love Target...period! This one store is good, but its the management that is just ok. I had one interaction with them, it was not the best. My Target coupon was for $10 off $50 in grocery. The manager pulled out ALL of my stuff in MY cart and went through MY bags to see what all I bought. Why didn't he look at my receipt? He said that flour, sugar, syrup and stuff like that did not count as grocery, it was baking stuff, and that is why coupon would not work. Fine, but don't go through my bags and pull out all my items and make me bag it back up. YES, he did! I was so upset, because I had personal items, and everyone was watching. I was embarrassed. I love one particular cashier, I cannot remember her name, but she is ALWAYS smiling and I love it. I would love to be able to write her name here, sorry I cannot remember it, but I do love her! I always try to get into her lane when she is working. I do like the Starbucks in the store! read more

Ok just yesterday I attempted to return a $450 drone that I got as a gift. While it was a very generous gift, I had no use for it. Since it was a gift, I had no receipts at all for it, neither a regular receipt or a gift receipt. So this miserable girl with a horrible attitude glared at me and said "Hold on, I'll be with you shortly," sounding very annoyed right off the bat. Even my ten year old daughter who was with me immediately gave me a look like "what the heck is wrong with her?". Pretty bad when even a ten year old can sense downright bitchiness. Anyway, a good two minutes passed while she straightened up some things behind the counter, never even making eye contact with me once. So then she finally says "Yeah"?. Whoa! I explained to her the drone details, and she says "yeah there's nothing we can do about it." I ask her why not and she simply states "store policy". So I ask her to explain in detail, and she mumbled something about over the limit of returns. I pressed her further, and she just said, "I don't know. That's just the way it is. Sorry." So at that point I realized I would get absolutely nowhere with this oh-so professional and friendly lady, so I asked to talk to a manager. She points to the lady next to her, who was the manger. The manager was very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. She explained everything to me in great detail, and patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. Bottom line was I couldn't return the drone, and because of the manager I clearly understood why. That's all I was really looking for...answers to maybe 4 questions. The original lady was miserable and downright mean from the very beginning. To me she is an embarrassment to a quality and professional corporation such as Target! You can't miss this girl...long black hair and gold glittery eyeshadow that even visually impaired people can see from a different Target at least ten miles away! Pathetic! read more

My husband and I went to Target on 10/3/2014 to shop for men's shirts. I like Target stores and the checkout clerks, who are usually pleasant, but other help at Target are real duds. There was a female clerk working (very slowly...never seen anyone move as slowly as this one) putting things away or stocking in the area of the fitting rooms between maternity and men's wear. She passed by me several times, each time looking at me, but did not acknowledge me at all. I was going to say 'hello', but the look she gave me told me she didn't want to be bothered. She actually intimidated me. Like I said, we like the clothes selections atTarget and did purchase a couple of shirts, but we usually try to avoid the place. read more

One of my fav stores! I love there clothes and much more. They also have great prices. I wish the store was bigger though.
