Please note, this is for the PHARMACY only. The pharmacy here is probably my favorite pharmacy ever. The staff is super nice, knowledgeable, and thorough, and wait times have never been too awful. The head pharmacist is the nicest man - he never talks down to you and has always made me feel comfortable discussing birth control. The other day they were out of my generic Rx, and since I needed it in a hurry, he called the Walmart down the road to make sure they had it and that it would be waiting for me when I got there. Yes, this is the Bellingham mall, so you probably want to avoid it on weekends if you can, and you might be forced to listen to a Canadian bitch at the (very patient) pharmacy tech about why they don't carry Dramamine in ginger lozenge form like in Canada (yes, that really happened). This is by far the busiest store most of the time at the mall. The location has a great selection of items and ad items are frequently in stock. The store has a large amount of staff present who are helpful and really seem to want to help you find products and make check out a breeze. This is light and day difference between other Targets that have no personality- despite the physical store age of this location looking rather old. A great Target location. read more

I always like checking Target out whenever I go to Bellisfair. Target offers basically anything that you might need from groceries, pharmacy, cosmetics, clothes, toys, stationary, household items to electronics etc. Target definitely is a tough competitor of Walmart. I find that Target offers better quality and brands. On sale items usually ranges from 15-75% off. Off seasonal items may be up to 90% off if you don't mind stocking up for next year. Do read their signs carefully for special promotions such as buy 2 items and get $5 Target gift card etc. If you want an additional 5% off, you can sign up and get their Target card. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Make sure you keep your receipt for returns. read more

I went there to look for this product and the tag says they were on sale for $29.99, so I took 2. When I came to the register, the cashier, her name's Martha scanned my items and were showing up as $39.99. And I told her there was a tag that says $29.99. And she had a smirk on her face and she said "Well, my scanner says it's on sale for $39.99" without even checking if the tag actually shows the sale price that I said. And I inisisted of a tag with sale price of $29.99. That's when she called the manager, which took a while before we got one. Then I went with the manager and she saw that there was indeed a tag that says $29.99 on both items that I took. Then the manager just told me to tell the cashier that it was $29.99. Then I told her to tell the cashier because Martha won't take my word for it. She was very unhelpful at all. I worked in retail for 3 years before I became a nurse and I was always accomodating. And if a customer says, there was a tag that says a certain sale price, you go check, you just don't push on what sale price it shows on the scanner because, don't put a certain sale price right on the product on the shelf if it's not on sale. You show a face that's accomodating, not smirking like you don't want to be there, that's not customer service. I dunno how long you've been working in customer service Martha, but your attitude says it all. Your customers give your store business. They are priority and therefore be treated as if you own that business. Be nice to your customers, because a nice feedback is better than something like this. I hope to see some improvement when I come across with you again someday. I like shopping at Target. And I would love to see people working there smiling and accomodating than the one you showed today. Have a good one. read more

Whenever making my to the U.S.A for a short shopping trip I always have to stop off at target. I just love Target, It Just has everything, which is bad because I just buy way too much. Also another great thing about this certain location is that the staff are always super nice. One cool thing about this Target is that it has food too. Idk if it is any good though. Sooooo.... I like this store, the clothes are nice. The Bellingham location has 3 times the shoppers of others because of all the traffic from North of the border. I think there is some cultural differences about what is acceptable shopping etiquette. The folks from BC push through crowds of people, block whole walkways with there carts and seem to just throw the clothes on the floor after looking at them. It's like shopping the day before Christmas on a weekday in April. I'm not sure if that's how they roll in BC or if that's just how they play an away game, either way it doesn't make for a good shopping experience. Also, there are trash receptacles outside the Target store and throughout the parking lot. No need to throw your Tim Horton's trash in the parking lot. There is a fine for littering down here in the states. 4 Stars because the clothes are cheap and really cute and they have an awesome website to help you avoid the crowds. I've been loving and shopping at various Targets for the past 30 plus years. It was my go to when I wanted to wander aisles and waste time (and money) mindlessly. Two days ago I went to buy a couple items and what did I hear, music. Loud, pounding, unrecognizable music. No longer the shopping oasis I have enjoyed. Ug. Hate it. Are there good deals at this place? Well not sure and it really depends on what you buy. The staff are ok. They won't approach you unless you approach them. It can be hard to find help sometimes. And if you do, the staff might not be sure the answer to your question unless its generic like where is the clothing section. read more

Very appalled by the lack of selection for other religious holidays besides Christmas. All I could find was a very disappointing amount of Hanukkah candles (no Menorahs could be found though). I was told online that I could find Kwanzaa items here and found no such thing. Not only that but I asked for directions in the store and one of the employees just blindly pointed in the general direction of where I was supposed to be and didn't even bother to help me any further. We had a wonderful shopping experience at this Target yesterday. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We purchased a small umbrella stroller and the cashier opened it and put it together while we waited. This was by far one of the best experiences I've had shopping at one of the big box stores. I made a trip tonight around 9pm to go to Black Friday in Bellingham from Canada, specifically to hit TARGET because it has always been such a 'Go to has everything store'. I was horrified when I walked into the store! WHAT HAPPENED? Why has the layout been changed? There is hardly any woman's clothing... the linens are horrible! Everything except the grocery section is disorganized (and not just because of Black Friday either) It just looks like a 'cheap store now! Poor Marketing strategy Corporate Target....I won't be back! They've stopped carrying so many things that I used to get and were only available at Target. I'm driving down to the Target in Burlington but am not finding everything I was hoping for. Target is a step above Walmart. Word of warning: don't get the RedCard they always push at checkout. Reason: if you have a late payment, even for a minimal amount, you are open to a late fee of up to $39; not 1.5% of the amount owed, instead more than the discount you've accumulated all month. read more

I love Target. Target is like Walmart on steroids. It's definitely an everything-you-need-in-one-place kind of store, just less expensive. The prices are a lot lower, the selection is a lot better, the clothes are a lot nicer. I don't know how Canada got stuck with Zellers, but we got the short end of that deal, and am I ever glad we're making the switch. However, the bathrooms in this location are horrendous, and there never seem to be enough cashiers at the checkouts to manage the massive lines slowly snaking around the store. read more

Target is pretty much the only reason I go to Bellis Fair Mall. Be warned though that it can get pretty crowded during peak hours, especially on the weekend when we have our friends from the North come down for shopping. I have found some great deals on clearance, especially after the back-to-school season (which actually ends before WWU starts up in the fall). The staff is really friendly. Prices on produce are way off the mark (pun intended). Hot tip: As best I can tell, the Archer Farms (Target brand) is the best price on pure maple syrup in town. read more

I came here 'cause my friend went first and said it was bad. I sometimes believe her as 9 out of 10 times she blows things way out of proportion, however, this time she was right, this place is aweful. Very disorganized, aisles are confusing, lighting is bad, it was very bare. I will be honest in stating that this section of the mall was better when it was Zellers. Prices are way too inflated than what they should be, more expensive than Zellers. I will just use my hard earned CND dollars Stateside...as I have been using for years. I've only been in this particular store once so can't really give a fair review, but every Target I've been in has just about serviced and served all of my needs. I like their aisle customer service telephones - only once have I had a problem not getting anyone to answer. Haven't encountered any aloof nor bad customer service at any store - maybe mediocre at times. I can usually find what I'm looking for without any hassle, and 5 stars for the store's layout - it makes sense and is almost 100% logical where items are located. I'd give a total of 5 stars for the entire store except they are really lacking in their misses and women's clothing sections: all stores I've ever been in. These need to be addressed as I've never found anything to my liking, there's a meager selection, and I'm a bargain shopper. I suggest going to Marshalls which is just across Meridian Guide, and I think the prices are better. Their children's section is awesome and I bought over half of my Christmas gifts at Target last year. Also, give it a super plus for their cash registers. It's easy to see prices as they're being rung up. read more

Was not impressed with employees there.. Went in the evening looking to buy some electronics for my 3 teenagers. I stood in front of the counter in the electronic counter for about 4-5 minutes while a young lady named Tammy and her male co worker were getting ready for closing as it was getting late... While I stood there they talked about how annoying it is when customers need items unlocked before closing and other customer annoyances they experience before closing, the young lady Tammy looked up at me twice and kept counting her till. The young man didn't even look up. I turned to leave as I could tell they didn't want to assist me in finding what I was looking for, I said to my husband " let's just go somewhere lose, it's getting late." We continued to shop around, and I decided that this was not customer service, because I needed assistance and was looking for some specific items I couldn't locate on my own, I walked back over to the counter and asked the young lady for her name, she reluctantly gave it to me and I said thank you and walked away. She sent her male coworker over to assist me after that, which I thought was unprofessional to do as well. The point of my long boring story is that not once was I asked if I needed help finding anything and every worker I made eye contact with in that store averted it to avoid being bothered by a customer. This is a busy shopping season and should be an enjoyable one . That's my two cents.. Maybe they were all having a bad day. But they made mine a bad day as well.. read more

It's a target but I wasn't impressed with the lay out and the customer service. First I travel a lot and most franchise stores are normally laid out the same so as if you do travel and you go into a store they all basically the same. Nope this location was all back ass wards for me I walked around looking for health and bathroom items couldn't find them. Location has stock so high they block the signs for customers to find location of items. The register was so slow, there was 5 people in each line so they closed 2 lines and then everyone had to move to the other 2 open lines. It took me 10 minutes to buy one item. The service was so slow and not worth comeing back here at all. Next time I will make sure if in the area to go to another location read more

Store OK but online service/pickup sucks. You order online and they don't quote a date when the item will be in the store. It's free but home delivery is expensive. Once the item arrives in the store, they only allow 2 DAYS to pick up the item! If the customer doesn't make it in time they cancel the order. Apparently they don't believe that customers have a life and are at the company's beckon call. I was in the mountains in a far away state with no internet at the time the item arrived in the store. Walmart allows 2 weeks, Home Depot it seems allows a very long time. Then you can shop at Amazon, which DOES have free delivery for Prime. read more

My favorite experience at the Bellingham Target is being sung to while paying for my items. One of the employees serenaded me with "Let me Call You Sweetheart" during my transaction and at first it surprised (and embarrassed) me. But he was so sincere, obviously just trying to make his day (and mine) more pleasant. He deserves a raise! read more

Two things. Sometimes clearance items are not marked but in the clearance area. I ALWAYS have to ask or scan (also not reliable) to be sure. About a third of the time I happily find out it is on sale. Sales staff immediately assumes it isn't on sale instead of checking for me. I asked a sales person if they had more of a particular towel pattern. What an attitude! "Well, I'm sure you can get it online." Condescending, borderline rude. Another one was marking appliances. I asked her a question and she continued with the task instead of stopping to talk directly to me. A group of 3 female sales staff were laughing and messing around in the same isle. Then a male sales person joined in. All in the same isle. It takes 4 people to complete a task in the same isle?! read more

I went in to look with my sister and within a few minutes I overheard a women ask "where are bras"? the target team member barely looked up and said over there ( with a loose hand wave )and went back to work. 15 minutes later a man with his diabled daughter asked "where are shorts"? a different team member said " they're all over " and walked away! I was shocked ....no help at all for a father trying to dress his adult child. My sister and I asked him what he was looking for and within 10 minutes we had gathered a little stack of shorts we thought would work for her. IT WAS EASY AND NOT OUR JOB! I put back my full cart of stuff and walked out, and believe me , I WILL NEVER ENTER THIS TARGET AGAIN! I will also encourage my friends and family to shop elsewhere, maybe a place where people being paid actually care to help their customers. read more

I used to like Target, but this Target is very disappointing. It is dirty, the bathrooms are disgusting, the customer service is horrible, items are out of stick for weeks on end. I have been into Target 5 times in the past 6 weeks, calling each time before I go in to ask if their Kodak kiosk is working to get some pictures printed out. Each time I talked with someone, I was told it was now working. I went in and stood there for 10-15 minutes seeing if the pictures i Had just spent time on placing boarders and getting them just perfect would print out and the machine just froze. I wasn't able to flag down any help, and when I finally did, the employee said they weren't trained on the kiosk and couldn't help. I called back a few days later when they said it would be fixed to be told again that it was working, only t get there and find it is still broken. I am tired of wasting my time trying to see if they will get this fixed, get items stocked that have been out of stock for weeks, and run around the store looking for anyone to help. This Target needs attention and major improvement. It's a waste of time trying to shop here. read more

I think an angel works here! He looks like an older Asian man and he works a checkout till. But on a particularly busy pre-Christmas Saturday while standing in his line-up...I distinctly heard him singing! A beautifully melodic peaceful contented song that made me catch my breath and say ' thanks for singing' ! He looked surprised...as if he didn't even realize he was singing... And I don't think he did do it on purpose. His contended joyful ness just welled up from inside. Beautiful! read more
