This may very well be the most organized and spaciously laid out Target I've been to. Now, I don't live anywhere near this location, so I can only speak as a one time visiting guest... but I was impressed! The interior is laid out more like a department store than the Targets near me-- fitting, since this Target's apart of a mall complex. My friend and I both found plenty of items we were shopping for, like sunglasses, planters and potting soil, video games and extra controllers for the Nintendo Switch, a specific DVD, and a standing tower fan. Random, yes. All available and easily found, also yes. The guy working the electronic section helped out with the video games and he was really nice and helpful. I bought sunglasses and realized after I bought them that they were broken... the customer service rep was super helpful and swapped them out for me with no problem at all. So I give this Target five stars and hope that some of the ones near me get this sort of spacious, super helpful vibe! :)

I don't shop at Target but ran in today. It was shocking. The clothing area was a total mess. Only four dressing rooms with long lines. The other dressing room was blocked off with carts full of stuff. People were stepping on the clothes all over the floor. Some shelves were almost bare. I've never seen anything like it and felt gross just looking at clothes. I'll never go back.

This Target is so bad, I can't get out fast enough and go weeks between going. And I'm a stay at home mom of two so I'm the prime Target demographic! Ever since we moved to Bellingham last December this store has been going through a redesign. But the last few months have been truly awful. They are in a constant manic restocking of literally every aisle...at all times. I just left, 11am on a Tuesday...I couldn't even push my cart down aisles. I had to lift the thing up and over carts full of overstock. There were large areas that weren't even reachable, making those products un-buyable. If they're driving me, the stay at home mom out alone escaping my kids, out of the store they must be losing so much money. Surely this intrusive restocking can be done overnight? I thought it was a one-off but it's been two or three times now, weeks apart ***this Target is STILL terrible. The aisles are full of pallets and employees yet the shelves are still inexplicably empty. I asked if this is still remodeling and the cashier said no it's due to the new truck schedule. Management really needs to sort this out. It's not an atmosphere that invites shopping. November 2019: nope. Still just a warehouse that calls itself a target. Added more photos from today's trip. Entire aisles inaccessible to shoppers because of boxes upon boxes of stock that should be in the back. Also...why is the dollar section also so sad? I see other targets with beautiful dollar sections and meanwhile it's mid November and ours still has Halloween things.

When you run out of formula in Canada and need some ASAP, you go to the closest Target. This location is about 25 miles from the border. Big parking lot. Looks like the just remodeled. Clean and organized. Was in and out pretty quick.

Another couple came into the store and when I looked over I noticed her talking to them and helping them instead of telling them to wait a minute she was going to help somebody else. Typically, a retailer doesn't want negative publicity in the social media world of today. He generously and/or appropriately gave me a refund of a portion of the price I paid to a figure I felt was fair. I accept that my experience was the result of a sales person who is either in the wrong job or was having a bad day. When I have a need to return to this store, I will choose to be helped by a more considerate sales person. Original post. I've never purchased furniture at Samuel's myself but have accompanied friends who have and have, myself, been impressed with the selection of quality items and the staff who helped in my friends purchases. On October 15, I entered the store in search of an end table for a particular spot in my house. I was greeted by Mr. Van Den Berg. I explained what I was looking for and we moved around the store but found nothing that seemed right. He suggested I look around and he proceeded to sit at his desk. As I walked by, I saw an interesting piece that was near where he was sitting and was obscured by a fake plant that sat on top. It was marked "Hue Round Stool" # 12532 or 928419. It was made from laminated wood that made up a conga drum-like "stool". The glue had obviously failed from severely shrinking wood and there were cracked seams around the entire item. The SALE tag showed it to be marked down to $119 from a regular price of "$259". It was in very bad shape for the quality of what the store sells, but it was perfect for what I was looking for. I asked if it could be marked down more and I received a cold and emphatic "NO". I was tired of searching for the right item and agreed on the "as-is" price. While Mr. Van Den Berg was writing up the sale, I noticed on the attached tags that the original price tag indicated that the regular price was $199, not the $259 which was the MSRP. The sales tag was blatantly misleading. I pointed it out to Mr. Van Den Berg and noted that this "table", which was really a stool and would have sold at a garage sale for $20, wasn't even half off. All he had to say was that he would point this out to management. I proceeded to pay for the "table" since it was what I was looking for even though it was, in my opinion, over-priced. I asked if it could be carried to my car and he said he couldn't do it and nobody else was around. I carried it myself. I have to say, I am happy with the "rustic" table, but not happy with the experience. Most people would have seen this item as something to use in a garage or IN the fireplace. So much for my taste in furniture. I feel that I took it off their hands and would have praised Samuel's for selling it at a reasonable price.

I headed there soon after they opened, and was both shocked and pleasantly surprised to see they had, quite literally, taken over the ENTIRETY of the former K-dog store in Sunset Square. In other words: THIS PLACE IS HUGE. I would describe At Home as a combination of Ikea, Costco and Big Lots with a little bit of Pier One thrown in for some character. It feels like they have everything you could possibly need to turn your house or apartment into a cute space. From outdoor furniture to indoor accessories to wall art this is basically a one stop shop that would have been a dream place back in the old days when I used to decorate model homes. But what At Home offers in selection (and decent prices) it lacks in character and inspiration. In other words, you pretty much need to bring your own creativity. Yeah, they have a few mini room displays tossed around the store for inspiration, but one of the things I love about other stores (think Ikea or, locally, The Greenhouse) is that they display entire rooms, or at least vignettes, that spark ideas and - presumably - result in consumers buying more products than they initially planned. I love the inspiration I get when I see not only a couch displayed, but an entire room. At Home definitely lacks this, even though they have MORE than enough space to accomplish it. The MOST frustrating part about the store was the absolutely abysmal setup of the checkout area. There are no lanes, just a small grouping of cash registers and one master line - which would be okay (it works in some places) if there was a way for cashiers to indicate they're free to serve you. But there's not. And the angle of the line is such that you can't SEE the cashiers. So they each have to basically jump out into the aisle to announce they're free. It's REALLY weird, and super bad planning. I felt bad for them! Also, the smell inside this place was overwhelming - worse in some aisles than others. I'm going to give them a pass on it, as they're new and I assume that "fresh plastic/paint/?" smell will disperse after a time. But if you're sensitive to smells, I'd give it a little time to air out before going.

The sales person was very kind and helpful during our interaction. We had some questions that he couldn't answer. He attempted to talk with the owner in another room and was given little and uninterested attention. Later as we were discussing the item and purchase, the owner happened to pass through the showroom and the sales person again attempted to ask him a question and he was given a flippant rather rude answer. It gave me the feeling of disrespect of the sales person as well as us, the customer. We purchased the item anyway, though we seriously considered walking. Now, 2+ years later, we have discovered a failure in the cushion hook and loop attachment system. The cushion is held in place by a strip of hook and loop (Velcro) along the front edge. The hook strip is sewn onto the couch. There is no loop strip. Instead hook strip grabs the fabric on the bottom side of the cushion. That fabric has kind of a fuzzy surface. When we remove the cushion, the hooks tear a little bit of the fabric away until I found that the fabric now has a hole in it. If it was a true hook and loop, the fabric would not have been subjected to this tearing. Of course this only happens when the cushions are removed for cleaning underneath. Admittedly, I haven't clean under the cushions more than six times in the last two years. That is not very many removals of the cushions that would warrant a "normal wear and tear" defense. The owner's earlier conduct was repeated when I called him about the failure. Disinterest and disregard. He answered "When we separate the cushion from the body of the chair, we place our hand right next to the Velcro and release it with a sliding motion, rather that just pulling up on the cushion. That lessans the tension on the connection point. I don't know what else to say. No one has every pointed this out." The couch didn't come with an Owner and Operation Manual. I didn't know that there was a procedure for removing the cushions. I am extremely disappointed in the owners attitude toward customer service and the quality of the company products. Although the over quality of the piece is good, I would not recommend doing business with this company.
