I wish you could give zero stars. I love target, but this location is just awful. For example, I came today with a short list of 3 items. All three items were out of stock. I grabbed an item not on my list only to find out it had been shelved incorrectly and it was $34 instead of the $19 posted where it was stocked. Great options including a lot of variety from little known brands from everything from clothes to baby items/products but of very good quality and priced in a manner that sort of hits the sweet spot between Walmart and likes of Harmon's and whole foods. They also have very good brands like Lego for kids interspersed in a nice manner with these little known brands to give the average customer a wide variety of options to choose from. I love the options here for the price they are available for. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for something better than Walmart but not as expensive as whole foods or Harmon's. One thing to note though is this will likely not be the place of your choice if you are looking for produce alone as there are much better local options available for that. Also target was subjected to a hack of their system that caused customer info like credit card etc to be affected and hence it is recommended to be wise when one swipes their card, not just here but generally. I give target a 4 star simply because I always seem to get what I want from target even if i cannot always find them in other more fancy stores. read more

I had bout a new box of baby wipes here and when I opened the pack it was dried out. I bought a big pack, I called in to see if I can return them or get some type of something because of dried out wipes, and they don't take returns on wipes. I get it, but this is literally a NEW pack and it's just frustrating having to pay $23.00 for baby wipes and not be able to use them. read more

I was in this store tonight and it was a COMPLETE DISASTER!!! There were clothes all over the floor in every clothing department. All the clothes were just hung up haphazardly. None of the racks were organized. All the tables needed to be folded. After about 5 minutes of trying to find clothes for my kids, I left and went over to the toy and housewares areas. They were no better. Nothing was organized on the shelves. Things were all over the floor. Honestly looked like a giant bomb went off in this store. I worked for Target for 10 years and if I EVER had any of my departments looking like this store, I would have been fired on the spot! There were no workers on the floor trying to clean anything up. They were all up front messing around and joking with one another. This store needs a management change ASAP!!! I will not be back to this store again!!! read more

Placed a target order yesterday evening at 5:30 pm, waited and waited until 8:30 pm with no notification that my drive up order was ready and so I called them to see when it would be ready. They said they were 2 1/2 hours behind and to pickup in the morning.. I specifically needed diapers and have 2 small kids so I didn't want to have to go inside if I didn't need to with them to grab boxes of diapers/groceries. It's been 24 hours since I placed a pick up order and I've heard nothing. Yesterday I called several times to see what was up and no answer. As in, it would ring for about 2 minutes straight and then just hang up. Is nobody working there? My items are running out of stock, and I live nowhere near this location (or any other Target for that matter). I did an order pickup here because I was going to be in the area for something else; I'm already going to have to make a trip to get my order, if it's ever ready and if everything isn't already out of stock. Target...I love you! I love this store but am getting continually weary of shopping here. Here's why: I love getting a Coke and popcorn before I shop. But EEWWWW the food area makes me sick! Dirty floors, sticky counters and tables, some kids throw up being cleaned up with a broom and a small dash of vomit absorber...I can't. Why are there only three lanes open with Betty, Rhonda, and GeneAnne slowly...slowly...checking people out?!?! Self check out...I can't love you. That red light always comes on for me and trying to catch that manager that's always running everywhere...is impossible. I've waited 20 minutes for help! Clothing section, you disgust me. Can we get a clean up on aisle 9, widen these aisles for a cart or stroller, and work on not stuffing these shelves so much? If this is a company wide issue sending way too much inventory for employees to keep up with, let's have a sale, and start over. I love this place. The baby and toddler clothes section is always a DISASTER. If you actually find something you like you won't be able to find the right size because nothing is in the correct spot. I'm not even exaggerating how bad it is. Also the bathroom is disgusting. It's just really dirty. I love target a lot and this is my go to target. They usually always have what I'm looking for which is why they get the 4 stars mostly. They seriously always stocked and have great selection. Why they are not 5 star is because it's hit or miss if they have enough cashiers. Sometimes it's can be a little dirty too! Also a little unorganized! Especially around holiday time. I used to love this Target - however the new remodel is awful!!! They have half the merchandise - never what I need - they never have enough cashiers leaving lines extremely long. On the upside- The employees are kind and extremely helpful. However the lack of merchandise, the "new" layout, and long lines overpower the helpful employees. This was my favorite place to shop in Virginia and in Georgia. I came to utah expecting the same, naturally! I absolutely HATE shopping at target in Utah. I have been to 3 locations and not one of them met any sort of standard I experienced in other states. 2 of the stores in Utah county have undergone cosmetic improvements and they still don't maintain the inside. The worst offender of all targets I've seen in Utah is American Fork location! It is always disorganized with clothing and swimsuits and dollar items all over the floors and everywhere. I understand that they are busy but unless I absolutely have to find something there as a last resort, I will not step foot in any of these stores. I refuse, out of principal, to give a store my money when they care so little about my shopping g experience! This is one of the most disorganized targets I've ever been to. Every single time I go in it's a catastrophe and it's always a five minute trip turned into a 25 minute trip because nobody knows what's going on. Additionally half of their stuff is not in the right section. So when you bring it up to the register to check out they don't honor the price that the item is misplaced under. I was totally accused of shoplifting and I really dont know why. I came in maybe 30 minutes before closing because that's when I had gotten off work. I rushed around to grab the couple things I needed and went up front to the self check out to pay. One of the items I was trying to purchase wasn't coming up as the sales price so I hit the assistance button. After waiting there for about 2 minutes for someone to help me and realizing no one was going too because all the employees I could see we're all too busy screwing around and laughing at each other, I walked away from the self check out right up to said emoloyees to ask them to help me out. A girl came over and fixed the price, I paid, then grabbed my stuff to walk outside. As im halfway between the door and the check out a young pompous blond guy stops and asks if he can check my bag and receipt. I thought about saying no you cant and just being an overall pain in the ass about it since I know I didn't do anything wrong but I had just gotten off work and was tired. So I just said sure in as snotty of a voice as possible but still being totally cooperative. He checks my stuff and looks at my receipt and says something like "oh those pants were on clearence? Cool" Then let's me continue on my way. I'm 30 years old and was in work clothes so its not like I looked like some dumb kid with a backpack or something. So still trying to figure out exactly what prompted the whole security check from the wanna be rent a cop. Haven't been to this place since then and won't till there's a damn good reason I was accused of shoplifting. read more

Besides having a clothes and most of the popular stuff ... They never seem to have anything in my size. Employees on the floor are helpful and nice. But the return "guest service" and the cashier, especially the manger or head cashier needs to know how to do their jobs! Training is a must, and you work there ringing sales up all day and you don't know what is on the ads? I understand that a teenager might not care but come on the manager should! Good stuff if you can find it, but don't expect any help. read more

He called called kraft and they were able to locate the last 5 jars in the literal world at this target. Don't come here unless you want to wait in line for 30 minutes, and be hit on by random teenage boys who lurk around the store. (This has happened on a few separate occasions.) I hate coming to this location, it's a last resort if I need to go to Target. The store is very unorganized and tiny, the employees sit around and giggle with each other (they seem to hire a lot of high school students) and I hear them talking about other customers behind their backs. What happened to Target??!! Or at least the American Fork store? I made an online order to pick up at the store. Came through a snowstorm at 9:00 at night. 6 people in line at Customer "Service" and one employee. When I finally got up to the front, the clerk said he had to take care of something and asked me to wait! Another clerk came along and I again stood and waited while she went through the store looking for my order. She couldn't find it! I had received an email confirmation that my order had been set aside and was ready for pickup. On top of it all, the clerks were joking around and chatting about personal things in such an unprofessional manner the whole time. So bad! And maybe it's picky, but they were dressed so sloppy. Not impressed. I then went to look for another item while I was there. The shelf didn't have the price so I took it to the tower with a price scanner to see how much it was. The item was bulky and I couldn't get it to scan. Totally frustrated, I gave up and headed out the store. Stopped in the restroom on the way out and it was disgustingly filthy. The walls of the stalls were even covered with drips and build up. I've shopped at Target for decades, beginning when they were new in California. I've never had this experience before, have never seen the employees so unprofessional and untrained, nor ever have I seen a Target so dirty. Bad news all the way around! read more

Surprised at all the negative reviews that uses suspiciously similar wording...I think this store has the most helpful and friendly employees. And I mean every time I visit the store. True, they're sometimes more picked over than others in Utah and Salt Lake Counties but they service a huge area. Wouldn't hurt us as consumers to make sure our children don't ransack the store and put it on the employees to keep it tidy, either. Look with their eyes and not their hands. Worst pick-up experience of my LIFE. Stood in line with three other people for twenty minutes while we were completely ignored by the employees running around. I was the first one in line for twenty minutes and when I finally got the item I was picking up (a coat) it was just shoved into a grocery bag. Absolutely no effort was made to even fold it. Very poor costumer service at this location. I stood in the concessions line for about ten minutes right in front of the register, no signs saying it was closed and no one came up to take my order. Eventually I left with no popcorn in hand. Also standing in the self checkout line waiting for an employee (as my screen said to wait for some help because I wanted to cancel an item) I saw a few employees standing a few feet away but no one came to help. read more

Thanks for wasting 3 hours of my time and ruining my sons birthday. I got a good deal on a TV here on cyber Monday. It got here a day late, and as I found out after I took down our old smaller TV and re-arranged the room to fit the new one, broken.(OK, probably not their fault) I called in to the store and they didn't have any replacements in stock. I told them I needed it the next day, and I didn't want to risk another broken in shipping, so the attendant told me if I brought it in they would give me a gift card for the current price of the TV(more than the deal when I bought it), so I could buy a comparable TV right away. So I load up the 55" TV, drive it into the store, and drag it to customer service, wait in line for 30 minutes, then get told they can only refund me for it, or send me a new one when they happen to get it back in stock. What a waste of time. If your not going to deliver, don't promise, so I don't have to waste my time. read more
