This morning I had a craving for barbacoa tacos and decided to try Clems once again. Had 2 barbacoa, one corn and one flour. I'd been thinking all morning about barbacoa and patiently waited my turn on the drive through. Once I got my order, I couldn't wait and ended up parking in the parking lot to chow down. Opened the corn one and the tacos had a double corn tortilla. The corn tortilla was legit homemade and looked tasty AF. I bit into it and while I did taste the corn, the other thing I tasted was the slightly greasy barbacoa. Yes, barbacoa is greasy but I felt there may have been a little bit more than normal in the taco and I kinda felt like some was running down my lip. That said, barbacoa wasn't bad and felt it needed seasoning. The corn tortilla was pretty good and did hold up to this semi wet barbacoa which is impressive. I tried the flour next. Tortilla a was soft, pillowy, vessel for the barbacoa. The barbacoa here was moist but did not feel or taste as greasy as the corn one. Their customer service is awesome though and they were super pleasant and polite. Overall, the barbacoa tacos weren't bad. I may have to give their others a try.

Only thing sadly missing was fresh pineapple for topping. - Suadero (fajita): 2/5 it was nicely packed but sadly missed the mark on flavor and it was very dry. - Cabeza: 2/5 the cut of meat was good but missing flavor. - Chorizo: 3/5 the flavor was good but not great. - Cheese quesadillas: 4/5 the cheese was quality cheese but didn't actually melt at all. Once the food came out (10min) we were given 2 types of salsas: green guacamole and red with chile de arbol. I was only able to add a few drops of the red salsa so beware. Overall we really enjoyed the food, service and mainly the al pastor tacos. We'd come here again if we're ever in Kyle.
