Came here for lunch around 3pm on a Saturday and were surprised this place was empty. We were greeted and seated right away. Server asked if we knew what we wanted but since it was our first time we asked for the menu & ordered 3 drinks: Mexican bottled coke, jarritos (pineapple) and Sangria (soda non alcoholic) We ordered 18 mini tacos and 2 cheese quesadillas. Total was: $57 (cash ONLY) - Al pastor: 5/5 for taste, flavor, presentation and amount of meat to taco ratio. Only thing sadly missing was fresh pineapple for topping. - Suadero (fajita): 2/5 it was nicely packed but sadly missed the mark on flavor and it was very dry. - Cabeza: 2/5 the cut of meat was good but missing flavor. - Chorizo: 3/5 the flavor was good but not great. - Cheese quesadillas: 4/5 the cheese was quality cheese but didn't actually melt at all. Once the food came out (10min) we were given 2 types of salsas: green guacamole and red with chile de arbol. I was only able to add a few drops of the red salsa so beware. Overall we really enjoyed the food, service and mainly the al pastor tacos. We'd come here again if we're ever in Kyle. read more

Staff is friendly very welcoming. however the only reason why it's getting a 1 star is because we order our food which came out very quickly which isn't a complaint but the food and salsa had little to no flavor, the portion of the lime we received was very small portions had little to no juice when squeezed. i will most likely not return the only good thing was the Mexican coke. The tacos were some of the worst tacos I've ever tried. The meat inside was unseasoned not even a pinch of salt or pepper at least . The salsa rojo was so sour as if they just took a bunch of tomatillos and just blended it up, it was not good. the salsa verde was so un seasoned it tasted like nothing . I am always on a search for real Al Pastor. The kind the comes from el trompo (see pic) if you don't know what el trompo is. Found it deep in the heart of TexMex county of all places. This place Is grandísimo! The Al Pastor is delish! Very authentic. Feels like you are in Mexico inside. They even have tacos de caballo. The staff was great and speak mostly Spanish...bonus! I pass by this place every day on my way home. After reading all the great reviews, I felt I had to try it. Be aware it is cash only, no printed menus, and no prices on the wall order menu. Does not look like much from the outside. No one inside spoke very much English but we were able to communicate with my limited Spanish . Ordered the Pastor taco plate and an order of fries. The menu is pretty limited to tacos of several varieties, a hamburger, quesadillas or a burrito. Be aware the red sauce on the table is smoking hot. At least to me, the green sauce was more my speed. Lol. The pineapple and onions on the table were a unique plus and combined well with my tacos. My food was out quickly and very hot temperature wise. Both my tacos and fries were good but not much different from ones I have had elsewhere. The dining room door was propped open and I had to battle flies during my lunch. Not sure why it was open as the inside had AC going. My total was $16. Definitely not a cheap lunch for 5 mini tacos, a drink and fries but without a printed menu with prices I paid what they said I owed. I am glad I tried it but will probably not be back. read more

These tacos are hands down the most *authentic* and *delicious* tacos around. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the food was perfection. Melt in your mouth goodness. We've scoured the area and NOTHING compares to the real deal like these tacos. We tried asada, suadero (fajita), pastor (our FAVORITE) and chorizo. $2 for mini tacos (our children 5 and 8 had 3 each) and $3 for regular. So affordable! My husband had 5 regular sized tacos . Few variations and this one ranks at the top 5, easy. There's seating that's enclosed with fans and wall mounted A/C. There's a tv, too.
