This is a tentative 3. I got the Pollo Asado and Carne Asada as this place is closer than my usual go-to spots. Both fell short of my expectations. Good, but not great. That said, the menu here has far more offerings than those spots and I intend to come back for some of their other offerings. On the plus side, the service is fast and friendly, while the location is convenient and offers usable seating. The prices are fair, as well. All in all, it was good. Tentative 3 and I will re-review when I've had some of their other offerings. read more

If I could give this place a 0 star review I would. First off waited for the food awhile - assuming I'd get great quality food I didn't question it. Got home to open up my tacos to overcooked ( what seemed to be reheated ) tortillas was the first thing visible. Then I realized my food smelt burnt and sure enough the meat inside was dry, overcooked and some was even crunchy. Attempted to save it with the 1/4 of a lime provided but no luck. On top of that no salsa for the order which was odd. Thankfully ordered fries in case I didn't like the tacos however the fries tasted like they had been air fried several times and reheated. No flavor and also just plain dry. After dealing with the girl at the front ( who seems to be an issue with many ) the man finally issued a refund after me informing him several times I did not want the order remade. Super let down and will not be returning to this place. If you're looking for somewhere with better service & food quality go to Briana's or El Primo's. read more

Such a well kept and clean food truck that tempts you with the delicious smell of grilling chicken the moment you arrive. Service is amazing, very friendly staff. Food came out quickly, we get the grilled chicken street tacos. They were so flavorful you didn't really need the salsa, but that green one has a nice kick to it. Every time I go to a restaurant/food truck I expect great service and obviously amazing food but this food truck had horrible service and the torta of fajita I got was alright. The lady in the front seem to be having a bad day and didn't even bother saying hi nor a simple welcome. How do you expect for me to come back if you can even greet me at your food truck? Insane. It's not only about the food but the service needs to be important because y'all have to remember that we are the customer and we do pay for the service. Nothing is free. I've been craving some good Pollo Asado ever since we left San Antonio! This place definitely did the job Great little spot with plenty of coverage from the sun. 5 stars because it's the closest thing to El Pollo Rico I've found in Kyle. If you're from the Austin area, you should know about El Pollo Rico by now. If you don't, go immediately and get the half chicken meal. It's a game changer. The rice and beans at La Hawaiiana aren't quite as top notch as Pollo Rico's, but they will do. Green sauce almost as good. But what they lack in rice/beans/sauce, they make up for with that amazing charred chicken taste. I need to know what kind of seasoning they are putting on those birds, cuz it's awesome! read more

I love this food truck. Very welcoming when you arrive, fast service and great food. On the same street they're on there is a few food trucks that I've tried but this one always give great portions and service. I tried at a beef fajita quesadilla and it's was so good!! They messed up my order multiple times, when I confronted them they didn't even offer to remake it correctly nor give me my money back.
