Al pastor + even more al pastor.
    Alex L.

I can't give this place a truly fair review as I've only had one taco here - a bajillion times, mind you, but one taco. They have a salsa bar with red sauce, green sauce, and creamy green. Not a fan of red, but absolutely love both of the greens. There's also cilantro + onions and pickled jalapenos + carrots cut lengthwise that are are probably from a can, but an awesome offering. Now then, the taco I've had? Al pastor, of course. The price-to-filling ratio is so good that you'll want to order sooo many extra. These al pastor tacos are one of the good ones hence why I went to this taco truck that was so darn out of the way for many reasons (Kyle, for starters... and then it's out in some weird location). But that never stopped us from taking road trips here. Also, they have horchata dispensers below the cash register. Bit of a weird location, but the horchata was your typical cheap but delicious horchata.

Yesss. Another awesome taquería in Kyle. The fiancé kept raving about this place and now prefers it over Brianna's down the road. This was the first time I've seen tacos de trompo inside a food truck over here. We went there on a late Sunday night and it was onnnnn and poppin'! I was like, "Holmes, shouldn't you be putting that kid to bed?" They have this Horchata dispencer/spout thing. Weird. Another thing that I noticed was that there are no prices... Anywhere! Just order to your little panza's content. 8 tacos for $8. Hells yes, sign me up! Your tacos are served with two little cups of salsa green, one of salsa red, and one of cilantro and onion. Dang... Three awesome taquerias on the same street and the best one is closest to my house. Get the tacos al pastor. They are the real deal, fools! Cash only.

Great food, but update your hours. This place is not open on Wednesday! Takes forever get through traffic.

Meat had no flavor, tacos were cold, didn't put the right stuff in my tacos. Didn't satisfy my taco performance.

Amazing tacos. The best around the San Marcos area. 10/10 and the red salsa is bomb. Real authentic Mexican street tacos.

Server asked if we knew what we wanted but since it was our first time we asked for the menu & ordered 3 drinks: Mexican bottled coke, jarritos (pineapple) and Sangria (soda non alcoholic) We ordered 18 mini tacos and 2 cheese quesadillas. Total was: $57 (cash ONLY) - Al pastor: 5/5 for taste, flavor, presentation and amount of meat to taco ratio. Only thing sadly missing was fresh pineapple for topping. - Suadero (fajita): 2/5 it was nicely packed but sadly missed the mark on flavor and it was very dry. - Cabeza: 2/5 the cut of meat was good but missing flavor. - Chorizo: 3/5 the flavor was good but not great. - Cheese quesadillas: 4/5 the cheese was quality cheese but didn't actually melt at all. Once the food came out (10min) we were given 2 types of salsas: green guacamole and red with chile de arbol. I was only able to add a few drops of the red salsa so beware. Overall we really enjoyed the food, service and mainly the al pastor tacos. We'd come here again if we're ever in Kyle.

I'm not exaggerating at all when I say they hit every single craving perfectly. From the very first bite, I knew these tacos were on a completely different level compared to anything I've tried before. The flavor, the freshness, the way everything came together--it was honestly incredible. I've had tacos from a lot of different places, but nothing has come close to tasting this good. I genuinely don't know what they put in these tacos to make them taste so amazing, but whatever they're doing, they've absolutely perfected it. The first time I tried them felt almost surreal. It reminded me of that iconic scene in the movie *Ratatouille* where the food critic takes a bite and instantly gets transported back to his childhood, remembering his mom's homemade cooking. That's honestly the closest way I can describe the feeling--it was like pure comfort and nostalgia all in one bite. On top of the incredible food, the **prices are amazing**. It's honestly surprising that food this good can still be so affordable. You're getting top-tier flavor and quality without paying crazy prices, which makes the experience even better. It's rare to find a place where the food is this delicious and the prices are still so reasonable. Overall, Briana's Taqueria completely exceeded my expectations. Between the flavor, the quality, and the value, it's easily one of the best food experiences I've had in a long time. If you're even thinking about trying it, I would **highly recommend it**--you definitely won't regret it.

But to begin with this story let's start with the location, it's at the end of the building housing the restaurant. You notice a good amount of parking for the size of the place, as you enter you're warmly welcomed and you choose your seating unless you have a large group they'll accommodate your request. As your seated you are greeted by the person who will take your order, and they'll bring you some tasty chips and salsa and get what you'll be drinking. After a few minutes they'll come back to take your food order the personnel are kind and outgoing. And it is in this condition that this place shines, because the food I ordered was absolutely delicious. I chose the "Garcia's Chicken Fried Chicken" and I was very surprised how delicious it was, the cheese sauce complemented the lightly battered chicken fried very well, the rice and beans that accompanied the meal was equally delicious. Overall this place has to be on your list of places to try it.
