Every time we eat here we say, "It's just good. Every single time. Delicious."…read more I love their Al Pastor; I could eat it all day every day. They sell out of it on weekends since it is that great! We enjoy the Barbacoa and Carne Asada, as well as Carnitas! All of them are great, and what I really appreciate is that the tacos have plenty of filling and are not greasy or too heavy! Fresh and delicious! Flautas are in corn tortillas and nice and crunchy and delicious. The flautas plate comes with lettuce, avocado, and delicious refried beans! I'm actually not a huge fan of refried beans, but there's are great texturally and the flavor is delicious. My favorite are the quesitacos, which are quesabirria tacos. I love that they aren't greasy or heavy, and the consume that comes with them is flavorful and not too fatty or greasy. I add onions and cilantro from the tacos and put it in the consume - perfection for dipping basically anything into! Staff is always friendly, and they have a few covered picnic tables to eat at if wanted! There's also a sister truck next to it that has ceviche, aguachile, and micheladas! You won't regret coming here! Great prices for delicious food! We can't stop coming to get more!

The ambiance is what you'd expect--fluorescent lights, a few tables/booths, and a convenience store on the other side of the partition. The service was good. The cook/manager(/owner?) behind the counter was especially welcoming and made us feel that our business was appreciated. Food was good and well-priced. The menu had a lot of options, but I usually only choose standard taqueria fare at places like this. We got pastor gorditas and a plate of 6 mini tacos. Everything was good, but the tacos definitely stood out the most. They were great! The tacos de pierna were my favorite. Cash only.

As we walked in, we were greeted by who I assume is the owner and she let us know there was a free table next to her. Our waitress was super friendly and gave us chips and salsa shortly after being sat. The chips and salsa were excellent and I, as usual, ate too much. The salsa had a good spice and great flavor and the chips were very crunchy and crispy (like fritos but airier). I ordered a small menudo and chilaquiles with green salsa and both were really good. The menudo had a ton of flavor, good spices, and the stomach pieces were cooked perfectly; super tender and no, sometimes off putting, lingering offal smells. The chilaquiles were also great and the green salsa was mild and refreshing, with excellent side of potatos and beans. I could not finish my food as I thought the small menudo would be like a small cup not a whole bowl. I had also filled up on chips and salsa and our waitress refilled it so I had even more. All in all, this is an excellent little local spot for some bold flavors and fresh food. The menu is quite large and I'm curious to come back and have some other foods (like chicken fried steak).

Not a fan of red, but absolutely love both of the greens. There's also cilantro + onions and pickled jalapenos + carrots cut lengthwise that are are probably from a can, but an awesome offering. Now then, the taco I've had? Al pastor, of course. The price-to-filling ratio is so good that you'll want to order sooo many extra. These al pastor tacos are one of the good ones hence why I went to this taco truck that was so darn out of the way for many reasons (Kyle, for starters... and then it's out in some weird location). But that never stopped us from taking road trips here. Also, they have horchata dispensers below the cash register. Bit of a weird location, but the horchata was your typical cheap but delicious horchata.

Server asked if we knew what we wanted but since it was our first time we asked for the menu & ordered 3 drinks: Mexican bottled coke, jarritos (pineapple) and Sangria (soda non alcoholic) We ordered 18 mini tacos and 2 cheese quesadillas. Total was: $57 (cash ONLY) - Al pastor: 5/5 for taste, flavor, presentation and amount of meat to taco ratio. Only thing sadly missing was fresh pineapple for topping. - Suadero (fajita): 2/5 it was nicely packed but sadly missed the mark on flavor and it was very dry. - Cabeza: 2/5 the cut of meat was good but missing flavor. - Chorizo: 3/5 the flavor was good but not great. - Cheese quesadillas: 4/5 the cheese was quality cheese but didn't actually melt at all. Once the food came out (10min) we were given 2 types of salsas: green guacamole and red with chile de arbol. I was only able to add a few drops of the red salsa so beware. Overall we really enjoyed the food, service and mainly the al pastor tacos. We'd come here again if we're ever in Kyle.
