Service was spectacular. You pull into the lot and the food truck is in full swing. The staff comes to your car with menus but you also have the option to sit and eat at their picnic tables. We chose to sit outside and order a variety of tacos- they are small street tacos. You get to choose from chicken, carnitas, bistek, and more. We ordered the tacos as specials which means they come with queso fresco and avocado. We also ordered an agua fresca - lemon water and it was so good. The only item I would not recommend that I ordered is the elote (corn in a cup) . It was cold and had so much lemon in it. Overall I recommend making the trip. The place is fun and vibrant and I love that you can sit out in the open and enjoy the sunshine or the option to eat in your car. The staff checks in on you often to make sure you have everything you need including salsas or napkins. The price was 4 tacos for $9.50. Drinks and sides are sold separate. The menu also includes a lot of other options so visit if you can! read more

My sister has been here before. So she asked us to meet her there. It's a food truck, parking is limited, but the staff always going up to the vehicles and asking if the order is to go or for here. So, they can take your order as you wait in your vehicle. We decided to sit at the tables outside. Thank God, the weather was nice, pm weather. I ordered the piña aquas frescas, Maria got the Jamaica aquas frescas. Both were delicious and a bit sweet. I had to water it down. I had the torta, which I'm still trying to find a great one, this one was close. Bread was soft, meat was tasty. Maria had the tripas street tacos. Very yummy. Going to try this place again. They were working on a brick and mortar place. No bathrooms on location, you have to go across the street somewhere. Good thing I didn't have to go to the bathroom. read more

We came here for lunch and were pleased with what we had gotten. It is a cool little spot that you can drive up and walk up and order or they can come to you. When we got there we walked up and ordered and found it pretty easy too find what we want. The server helped and ended up getting the torta and street tacos. Both were filled with flavor and the salsa verde was amazing. If you're craving Mexican or want some tacos I'd recommend this place for sure. Also the Limonada aqua Fresca was the best I've had. read more

Great food and awesome service. We loved how they take orders from your car and serve the food to your car (if you're eating in your car. They have lots of benches outside for dining as well). I am so happy that I found this place thank you yelp the service first of all is so good. They are so nice. They even come up to your car. Ask you if you want a menu they tell you that you can sit there or you can eat at your vehicle or they will take to go. They are so amazing. We ordered some tacos and I will say hands-down. This is my favorite place to come and get tacos now it's really cute. It was cold but so worth it. They have a nice little seating area outside and the arroz con leche is so good. I ordered their El Pastore tacos. They are so flavorful they even come with those little grilled onions, cilantro, and cebolla. They also grease up the tortilla to a point where it's not overly greasy. It's just all flavor. Their salsa taqueria is tasty and not too spicy, do yourself a favor and check it out. Especially if you're missing authentic street tacos. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place thank you so much for your beautiful service guys and tasty food. read more

I was hungry one night and my spouse had told me about this place and how delicious their tacos were. I ordered four tripe mini-tacos and they were delicious. Each taco had a large slice of avocado as well as cilantro and onions, and both red and green salsas were delicious--and had a great burn. I love Taquitos Mi Rancho and have been many times. The quality of the food is great, and I can't express how amazing the customer service is. Even with a full parking lot I have never waiting too long for my order. Came up to my car and took my order, read back my order, and made sure I was getting everything I needed. A lady discriminated against me for my age and started going off at me stating i was young and have never worked a day in my life, just because she put in a whole order of tacos for me instead of the 1 taco i ordered. I asked her when she brought the food about it and she rolled her eyes after i said i wouldn't want it to go to waste but i only ordered one. After she discriminated against me and my race i stated to her i was actually a manager in the food industry, so i know how good customer service is to be expected and she again proceeded to go off at me. Short woman, always there and has black hair. This was my favorite place and it is unfortunate to say i do not feel safe ever going back there especially them being located in my college city. I was looking for a new place to try in San Marcos and it seemed as the internet made my choice, the reviews here were too good, I couldn't not go. We ordered the pastor tacos, torta de bisteak, and a gordita de bisteak. Of course to wash it down we had a limonada and agua de melon. We were excited as we sat down but realized real quickly that this might be a 50/50 chance that this might not be our place. The aguas were not it, the melon lacked flavor and the limonada was way too sweet! We thought here's our chance to cancel the order but we're trying to give this spot a chance, considering the reviews we didn't let the lack of a good drink stop us. We got our food pretty quickly. First bite into the gordita and realized the reviews misled us. The bisteak lacked flavor. There it was the gordita and the torta down the drain. The masa from the gordita was delish but the meat was lacking. The bread from the torta was too sweet almost like it was made with pan dulce. The pastor tacos were pretty ok 6 outta 10. I left a 3 because though the food left much to be desired but the service was good. This might be a good spot after a night out with diminished taste buds but otherwise it's a no go for me which is surprising cause many folks love this place it seems. read more

This place is legit. Definitely worth every penny. We did a long kayak ride down the river and finished around 11:45pm. Needed to find a place to eat and they were about to close. We asked if we could order and they all smiled with a huge YES. They were very happy to serve us even after a long day. The Carnitas and Barbacoa was amazing with a flavor hard to find from. I'm surprised this place has no reviews yet because it is the best place in San Marcos to get Mexican food. Everything is soooo delicious-- either the tacos, the tortas, the quesadillas, the tostadas de ceviche... EVERYTHING. I just love the flavors they add to their dishes. I especially love the bistec and the chicken tacos or tortas. Their agua de jamaica and de tamarindo are my favorite. The ladies that take your order are bilingual and you can pay with either cash or credit. I promise you that if you go here you won't regret it one bit. It's one of the only places I'll miss now that I graduated and I'm moving back home. Hopefully it's still there whenever I come back to visit. I 12/10 recommend read more
