    Fish tacos

Fish tacos were less than 2 inches for $15. No toppings except some lettuce that fell in? I will let picture do the talking.

Awesome spot! The tacos (smoked tofu, steak) were yummy and I really loved their non-alcoholic paloma. Definitely try the hibiscus salsa, the smooth thick texture combined with sweet fruity heat was amazing! Service was prompt & they came over the perfect amount-- they were not asking how we were every 5 minutes which I appreciate lol. All of the folks who served our table were really kind! The third floor had a nice view & is great for late summer nights. Would love to come back for tacos & drinks again.

All service provided was excellent but this is the second time I went there to eat,and I've had the same experience with the bubble guts after. I'm not sure if it's the oil the food are being made with but Something just ain't right. I'm currently on my second bottle of peto bismol.

I am so excited to have this spot open up right around the corner from my house. You don't have a lot of good restaurants in this area. Le Bus is good, In Riva went down hill after the flood and black squirrel suxxx. So thank you so much for opening and on top of that it is delicious! My favorite part was the lime mousse with cookie crumbles. That was one of the best deserts I've had. We also got Churros which were perfectly crispy. We started with pineapple Guacamole. That was delicious. Not a large dish though. Which actually turned out to be a good thing since everything else was so large. We both got margaritas. Mine non alcoholic and hers alcoholic. Mine was excellent. She didn't think hers was alcoholic enough. I got the Cemita with the slow roasted pork. It was something I've never seen at any other Mexican restaurant. We sat at the front bar that is just open to the street. It was a beautiful view. Perfect date night with my wife. We will be regulars.

The food was delicious. Served promptly, hot, and good portion sizes. I enjoyed two different margaritas, shrimp tacos, and beans and rice. They have a bar area downstairs and tables and another bar upstairs. Our server answered our questions without having to go check on anything. The staff are pleasant and welcoming. Definitely a place I will return to. There is free street parking but it can be scarce due to this restaurant being in a residential neighborhood that is also popular for bikers, runners, and walkers. So you may end up a block or two away but you will find parking.

Desperately needed restaurant in an area with few sit down eat in places. Solid nachos and plantains. Good lively vibes on the inside and good margaritas.

Crests food actually had flavor and was some of the better Mexican food I've had in the area. Get ready to spend some $$ if you go though, it's not cheap at all. The music was super loud, which always bothers me because generally you go dining with others to talk and enjoy their company, not yell over terrible music. Service was very kind.

This was my second time here and everything has been nothing short of amazing!!!! The flavor of the food, the drinks, the service, literally everything has been great! They also have taco Tuesday deals!!! I think this is going to be my new go to spot for tacos as I have truly been searching all over for excellent tacos! Not to mention this place is a vibe I've come to celebrate with a friend and I've come to watch a playoff game. Each time it's been really fun!

But this is also fitting…read moresince whether its been driving by it back in the day, or through gazing up at it on the hill when I was in Manayunk, La Collina is one of those places that has been in my peripheral vision for a few decades now! For 20+ years, I've known La Collina to be that fancy and classic-looking Italian restaurant on the hill that I've been needing to try. But it took coming across its name when doing my research for possible spots to go to for my birthday to put one and two together, and it led to quite the majestic experience. The friendly and hilarious valet attendants ensured that service was incredible before we even entered the building. And upon entry, we were treated to spot-on recommendations and quality service throughout the evening. For cocktails, I was in awe of the Anejo Old Fashioned, which used Patron and agave syrup instead of the usual whiskey offering, and I also appreciated the classic Negroni. For appetizers, the classic meatballs with homemade marinara and ricotta were an absolute delight, and the eggplant rolatini with spinach, prosciutto, and mozzarella was sheer perfection at its most decadent. For my entrée, I initially expected that I would be eating all the pasta. But the restaurant is also known for its seafood, and the risotto frutti di mare especially caught my eye. and with its calamari, clams, mussels, and shrimp, and perfectly cooked and seasoned rice it absolutely delivered the flavors! Toss in a salted caramel chocolate soufflé with a candle on top, and it easily made for another memorable birthday dinner and a deserving place to recommend!

Very disappointed in La Collina…read more We ALWAYS wanted to go here because we love italian and it looked awesome on the hill overlooking Manayunk. We booked reservations for our wedding anniversary here. I specifically asked for a window overlook view seat. This was not granted and we were placed in the back room by the bar. Service was poor. We spent 2 and a half hours at this restaurant mostly waiting for the food to come out and the server to bring us our check. I don't believe the server came back for drink refills until after we were done with out meals. The serving sizes like stated in other reviews are very poor for the price you pay. For 2 to eat here you are pushing 100 easily. I got the chicken parm and pretty sure there was a out 12-15 noodles with it. My wife did enjoy her seafood pasta with scallops, but the price outweighed the amount for sure. Overall I had high expectations for this place and it let us down big time. Hopefully they continue to improve so we can give it another chance.

When I mentioned accessibility issues, the person on the phone was very clear about how many steps and how far to our table. We were seated in the barn, which is overflow event space with four tables that can seat up to six. It was a rainy day and a little chilly, but they even had heat lamps inside. Omar the server was lovely and accommodating. He even offered a faster, back alley way for us to access the space that was easier for those of us with mobility issues. Food overall was solid -- the single add on items make it great for kids (one giant pancake for $7). Crab cakes were lackluster, but the shrimp and grits were amazing.

Service was good for the most part and the food was ok. The main reason for the low rating is because as we were eating a mouse runs out from the kitchen and we brought it to the attention of the staff who took about 10 minutes to catch the mouse. Now no one from the staff apologized for the rodent issue so I'm assuming that this is a common occurrence. None of the staff seemed bothered by the situation to let their manager know and no one offered us a discount due to that scene that just transpired in front of us. So my sister and her family who live here in Philly as well as my wife and I will not be eating here again.

We were a party of 8 and they were so nice to setup a table where we could all sit together even though it looked like they were full. None of our friends have ever been here so I let them decide what they wanted to order. We had many different tastes of wines to start from a Chardonnay, a pinot Grigio to a Shira. Everyone could not say enough of how good the wines tasted. The tables ordered charcuterie boards, a hot honey, pepperoni flatbread, margarita flatbread, pistachio pesto flatbread, two different types of french fries and a meatball martini. The group raved about the flavors of the different flatbreads. The pistachio flatbread was a great hit. No one would ever think of a flatbread with pistachios. Josh and Nick the bartender took care of us really great. We never had a wait for anything..

Prices are fair, especially given the location and overall quality. The wine list offers a solid selection of both red and white wines, available by the glass or bottle, and they also serve wine flights--three 2.5 oz pours, if I remember correctly. The cons: The menu isn't posted online (see my photos for sample menus), so you'll need to be comfortable going in without previewing your options. It's also not marked for gluten-free items, so plan on asking your server for guidance. Most of the wines feature grapes sourced from California, with a few selections from South Africa and at least one Malbec from Chile. Aside from some Oakville Cab Sauvs, I'm not a big fan of California wines--so if you are, you'll likely feel right at home here.
