I didn't realize how huge this space actually is--They have seating outside in the front and back, downstairs and upstairs. I actually realized that this was the place I had my very first date LOL back in the day when this place used to be Derek's! Anywho, for starters I had the whipped ricotta which was citrusy, very light and paired with a buttery salted pita that really was a nice touch. For my entree I partook in the salmon dish that was served overtop a bed of asparagus risotto--So so good, I hope this remains on the menu as I'd definitely order this again. And last but not least, for dessert I had the affogato (ice cream and espresso) which was the perfect way to end the night. 10s across the board and our server Vincenzo was such a nice guy, checked on us every time he walked past our table, sweetened my lemonade after I told him it was too sour which I wasn't expecting and he boxed my food although he didn't have to... I'd likely request him the next time I'm here as he made the experience feel special. Thanks guys, we had a great time!

I really liked all the plants throughout the space too, they gave it a cool, relaxed vibe. The focaccia was great, and we enjoyed the main dishes as well. Dessert wasn't my personal favorite, but I really appreciated that they were willing to get creative and try something I'd never seen before: corn ice cream. While these transient wretches microwave their Sad Cuisine in their Marriot holding cells, Lark's seventh floor aerie curates a dining experience well worth the exorbitant price tag. The service here is outrageously on-point while the appetizer, pasta and main courses are both inventive and delicious. I love duck and their duck in a currant infused sauce was the best I've ever had... anywhere. Given the tiny portions there's no risk of leaving here "stuffed" but you will leave amazed and satisfied that you have experienced something truly special. As a bonafide hater of foodie hype in any form, I have no choice but to give Lark a resounding five stars. PS... Bala Cynwyd, PA must have more cemeteries (including a sprawling Pet cemetery) per capita than any place on the planet. More poor souls that will never experience Lark.

But this is also fitting…read moresince whether its been driving by it back in the day, or through gazing up at it on the hill when I was in Manayunk, La Collina is one of those places that has been in my peripheral vision for a few decades now! For 20+ years, I've known La Collina to be that fancy and classic-looking Italian restaurant on the hill that I've been needing to try. But it took coming across its name when doing my research for possible spots to go to for my birthday to put one and two together, and it led to quite the majestic experience. The friendly and hilarious valet attendants ensured that service was incredible before we even entered the building. And upon entry, we were treated to spot-on recommendations and quality service throughout the evening. For cocktails, I was in awe of the Anejo Old Fashioned, which used Patron and agave syrup instead of the usual whiskey offering, and I also appreciated the classic Negroni. For appetizers, the classic meatballs with homemade marinara and ricotta were an absolute delight, and the eggplant rolatini with spinach, prosciutto, and mozzarella was sheer perfection at its most decadent. For my entrée, I initially expected that I would be eating all the pasta. But the restaurant is also known for its seafood, and the risotto frutti di mare especially caught my eye. and with its calamari, clams, mussels, and shrimp, and perfectly cooked and seasoned rice it absolutely delivered the flavors! Toss in a salted caramel chocolate soufflé with a candle on top, and it easily made for another memorable birthday dinner and a deserving place to recommend!

Tonight was a stark contrast. We sat at the bar, and service was painfully slow. I had to ask three times for water. The bartender was very nice, but the restaurant seemed understaffed. The food was just okay and far too expensive -- $60 for dorade and $59 for branzino. The bathroom was dirty and had no soap. I was also disappointed by how the owner handled a gift certificate I had discussed with him at that bridal shower and understood would be honored. The date had been slightly altered, but not by me. Instead, he was curt and dismissive. A little kindness and good customer service would have gone a long way. The hostess was lovely, but overall this was a very disappointing evening.

There are 3 floors with three separate gorgeous eating areas and 3 full service bars. I loved the decorative tequila bottles and the aesthetic of each floor. Definitely worth taking time to explore. We stopped by before catching an amazing show at Fallser Club. We were pleasantly surprised to receive an extra 10% discount on our food by showing our tickets. We had cocktails and got our food to go to eat at the venue. You won't find food pictures from me in this review because due some dietary restrictions my food wasn't packaged as it usually is served. For the next show we will be going early and eating onsite to fully enjoy all Cresta has to offer. We will also make sure to sit on the 3rd floor rooftop level to enjoy the view where the very large windows are opened to enjoy the fresh air when Mother Nature cooperates. Back to to the food and drink. The cocktails are unique, gorgeous and delicious. Each one crafted with garnishes like fresh orange peel and pineapple leaves. Cocktails can be ordered with sugar, salt, or tajan on the rims. I highly recommend the apple cider margarita and the La Kartina hibiscus cocktail. The photos don't even do them justice. I ordered the plantains, deconstructed veggie tacos and a side of Al pastor chicken. I also had a side of the guacamole. The guacamole was so fresh and flavorful and I loved the cheese added to the top. The chicken was flavorful, well seasoned and very colorful. The plantains were the perfect level of sweetness. Now, about that the art! I loved the decor and art. The art around the restaurant and the tshirts employees wore were designed by a bartender who I didn't get to meet. The murals were so colorful and detailed. One was more beautiful than the next. I found a very cool selfie mirror on the 2nd floor that I loved! The artist's insta handle was on the wall as well and is included in my photos. From an accessibility standpoint, the second and third floors can only be reached by stairs and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Thank you Cresta for accommodating our large party for cocktails and takeout. I can't wait to come back for the full experience!

Relatively empty when we arrived about 6pm on Sunday, we had a choice to sit at the bar, outside, or even indoors. We took two corner bar seats, and the very friendly bartender got right to work. No cocktails today. Just a virgin margarita and a Mexican Coke along with waters. We split some guacamole and chips both of which tasted homemade on the spot, and while I had the shrimp tacos, my wife had the chicken empanadas. Both meals came out quick and were really good. I added some of my guacamole to the tacos, and the empanadas were full of chicken and were underneath an avalanche of lettuce and sour cream. Both meals were more than filling with the chips and guacamole. We made it to our show without any problems. It seemed that others were doing a pre-show dinner, too. About $75 including tax and tip with a 10% food discount. This included a Mexican Coke, virgin margarita, chips and guacamole, shrimp tacos, and chicken empanadas. We would definitely come back.

We decided on it because of, aside from the great food, a private parking lot and outdoor seating. We went on a Saturday evening. The weather was beautiful out (not hot for a summer night-thank goodness!) so we wanted to sit outside. We were seated and decided on starting with the caprese salad and we each ordered a bourbon espresso martini. The drinks were wonderful! The salad was so good and so fresh! A perfect summer appetizer! I ordered the pepperoni pizza and my friend ordered a pasta dish. They make their pasta and you can alway tell when a restaurant does because it's so delicate and delicious! The server who brought out our food told us about the hot honey they had that goes so well with the pepperoni pizza so he brought us each out some to try. I've had it before other places but his kindness and excitement at wanting us to try it was so kind. And it was great with the pizza! A solid restaurant with wonderful food that I will continue to visit!

We were able to be seated right away, but why have reservations online if they don't work? We were seated outside , and it was lovely. It wasn't loud, and It was a great atmosphere. The waiter came over and took our drink order. We got our drinks right away. We also ordered bread with oil and butter. My friend ordered a pizza and told the waiter, no pepper on the pizza. I ordered a pasta dish. Another person came out with my friend's pizza, but we hadn't even gotten our bread and butter yet!! The pizza had pepper on it. Besides the fact that they served the pizza with the pepper that she didn't want , there were two things wrong with this. 1. You serve the bread and butter first. 2.You bring both meals out at the same time; you don't serve somebody's meal first. We finally got our bread and butter. However,I had to wait so long for my meal that we had to wave the waiter over and tell him I didn't get my mail yet. (meanwhile my friend is eating her pizza. ) He says this is a free-flowing kitchen, and my meal will be out soon. My meal comes out as we were speaking to the waiter. The food was very tasty. The drinks were excellent! The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was nice. The service could've been better.

For appetizers we had a crab dip and soft pretzel bites. The buffalo chicken dip was a big portion, nicely browned in a ramekin with tons of tortilla chips. Rich and satisfying! Spouse also ordered the pretzel bites which came with white cheese and mustard. I ate his cheese with the chips. He called that and a Manayunk Lager his dinner. I ordered the Chopped Asian Salad and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fresh and bright with plenty of rice noodle and mandarin oranges, it was a great choice. I tried again on the drinks before happy hour ended and got a stellar blueberry mojito, thick with muddled fruit and mint. This was an amazing $7 craft cocktail. Where was this effort on the mule? After we ate we took some extra time to check out the patio. Because it was 99° and humid we did not spend any time out there but it would be lovely in the right weather. I love the river view!
