I don't mind paying more for boba, so the price wasn't really the issue--the quality was. I think the place could really benefit from a remodel and maybe some additional help to improve the overall experience. Hopefully they make some changes because there's definitely room for improvement.

Happy to find that things haven't changed at this spot! There's very little parking in the plaza, so if you're lucky, you'll get one of the two spots up front designated for Quickly. Otherwise, find a spot off street parking. It's also still to go inside, so no hanging about with your food and drink. Cash only and no bills larger than $20. We ordered popcorn chicken ($5.90, listed on their menu as fried chicken), regular size almond milk tea at 50% sweet with boba ($2.50 plus 75 cents for boba), and large size jasmine milk tea at 50% sweet with boba ($2.50 plus 75 cents for boba and 50 cents for larger size). Since the drinks were at 50% sweet, they were slightly watered down. Still good though! Boba was soft and chewy. The real star was the popcorn chicken! It wasn't fatty nor tendon-y like other boba shops we've ordered at. It was crisp and hot and a great value at a price we don't see anymore. I think we've found our go-to popcorn chicken place!

The Brown sugar milk tea w/boba was good nothing out of this lair. Taro milk tea with lychee jelly was actually very refreshing. The lychee jelly gave it a nice touch. The Thai Tea with Brown sugar boba was probably the least favorite and we love Thai Tea. 5/5 Service We took a bit to order since we were looking over the menu. The drinks took a bit to get out as we played a few games of connect 4 before having our drinks ready. 5/5 Ambiance It's a smaller boba spot but they do have a few tables and some high tables. They have board games in the corner for you to sit and enjoy your drinks. 4/5 Parking Spots up front but limited. You may have to park away. There's a gas station next door and a restaurant. We got a spot right up front this time. 5/5 Likelihood to Return Overall a pleasant experience and we look forward to enjoying more drinks at the Lair soon. Psalm 115:1, God bless and Stay Prayed Up

This mom and pop shop is super affordable and delish!…read more It doesn't look like much outside and you wouldn't think they get a lot of foot traffic but they do. Fav torta here is the carne enchilada. They marinate the carne themselves and tend to sell out fast. I always call in my order since everything is made fresh to order. Their tortas come toasted with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickled jalapeños and avocado. My bf loves their torta too that he ate it 2 days in a row. All their smoothies, milk shakes are made with real fruit, no powder or concentrated stuff here! Must get is their chocomilk with a banana blended inside. My only gripe is sometimes I get charged $5.50 for their carne enchilada torta and other times $6.95. It does say $5.50 on the menu though. Please come out and support this Mexican owned business!

Placed I our order (we both got the $5 special milk tea boba and bubble waffle), made our drinks, and then made the bubble waffle. It was quicker than I expected especially since he was alone, I saw him make 3 Thai milk tea bobas in record speed for a customer before us, impressed. They had few tables and chairs, restroom for customers, and it was a bit hot inside. We didn't stay but I did enjoy the milk tea (50% sweet), very delicious boba (chewy with a good bite), and the bubble waffle was good! It was also crispy outside, chewy mochi like texture inside, flavor is like a plain vanilla sweet waffle. Good deal!

Got Doordash since they're having BOGO Okinawa Pearl Milk Tea…read more My order came less than half an hour surprisingly! It was $7.50 for 2 and including taxes and tip, it cost $11. The tea had a subtle tea and nutty flavor. I was expecting it to have a stronger tea taste but not a big deal. The boba was very fresh, soft, and chewy. It wasn't overly sweet and stuffed with ice so that was very pleasant. Overall, it was a decent deal but probably would pass if I had to pay full price for one.

We also get regular scoops, the pre packaged quarts, and sometimes the milkshakes too. I'm writing this review now, after many years, because I was recently SO impressed with my online order. I ordered a chocolate ice cream cake (choco cake and choco ice cream) through the app. I was able to use my $5 off cake coupon as well. I called ahead of time and asked if they can make the chick cake into a character from Sanrio (Gudetama) instead. The person I spoke to, John, was super helpful and kind throughout the whole process. I emailed him the photo ideas I had and the cake decorator was able to accomplish the task! John was in consistent communication with me throughout my two week in-advanced order. The decorator did such an amazing job and my family was so happy with the results. The cake and ice cream also tasted delicious! During pick up, the workers greeted me as I entered. I was helped by John and he reassured me that the cake was indeed chocolate ice cream/chocolate cake. I appreciated that he checked before the outside icing went on. We are very happy with the service of the employees, the scrumptious cake received, the easiness of ordering and communicating, and the smooth and fast experience of picking up the order on Father's Day Sunday. We will be telling all our friends and family about our amazing cake experience!
