    Menu (March 15, 2026) - Part 3

I had a lovely experience at Boba Lair (La Puente). I ordered the Sunset Lemonade ($6.50). It's tangy, thirst-quenching, and it includes fresh rainbow jelly. TASTY! I arrived at Boba Lair (La Puente) on Sunday (around 4:08PM). Parking is very easy. The lot is big. Customers order at the counter. Staff (receipt says Mariana) is welcoming, professional, and hard working. Mariana politely answered all my questions, and Mariana worked quickly & efficiently. My drink took two minutes and 54 seconds. Very fast! As mentioned, I ordered their popular Sunset Lemonade ($6.50). It's a colorful drink, but it's also a really tasty lemonade. The drink is tart, chill, and refreshing. The Rainbow Jelly topping also surprised me with its light, playful texture. YUM! Regarding ambiance, Boba Lair (La Puente) has a very clean and welcoming interior. Although its exterior looks ugly and worn down, the interior is refreshing and well-ventilated (almost windy) which feels lovely during these hot days. The location holds about six tables. Boba Lair (La Puente) also has utility. There's customer internet with password; information is displayed near the cash register. There's also four available electrical outlets. I also appreciate the game corner (ex: Connect 4, Sorry, Playing Cards, etc). This location does not have a restroom, but there's a hand sanitizer bottle on the counter. I also enjoyed the upbeat music. Overall, I found unexpected joy at Boba Lair (La Puente). It almost felt like a secret hotspot guarded by the community. I noticed many locals cheerfully walking in-and-out. In the end, I left with a bright smile. If nearby, I recommend. 4.7 out of 5

A hidden little spot in La Puente, affordable and great for a quick boba crave. They also sell ice cream and limited selection of pastries. I was satisfied on my first visit: solid drinks, cozy decor, friendly service, and immediate delivery. On my revisit, the experience was still fair. However, the boba this time was firm and undercooked. For that, I'm keeping the review at 4 stars for now. I will return to see if it improves.

Brown sugar Boba milk tea & passion fruit green tea with lychee jelly. + macaron!

5/5 I had a great experience at Boba Lair! I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Boba and the Green Tea Passion Fruit--both were absolutely delicious. The drinks were perfectly balanced and refreshing, and the boba had just the right chew. I also tried one of their macarons, and it was a delightful treat--light, flavorful, and not too sweet. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

We love this boba place! Whenever we're in the Baldwin Park area, we make sure to stop and get out boba and drinks here. My go to drink is the Mango smoothie!!! I love how cold, nice and refreshing it is!!! The strawberry smoothie is my son's favorite and anything matcha are my girls favs!!! Boba Lair has seasonal drinks as well which we'll try just because it's what they're featuring. Everything here is yummy yummy yummy! Come try for yourself.

Been here a couple times. Cute small boba spot. Drinks were quick, flavorful and worth the price.

The spot was small and quaint but very clean the service was professional all the drinks we ordered were repeated and explained so not any confusion and the price was amazing! To top it off the drinks were the best I've had in a long while so I highly recommend

Boba is perfect for the summer. I got a Thai tea smoothie it was not really a smoothie and more just like a regular drink. Although it looks very blended on the outside it was still nothing but liquid on the inside. I loved the inside decor and they have a lot of seats available. The customer service was good as well.

Boba Lair is a solid, no frills boba spot. The drinks here are priced reasonably and taste pretty delicious. I usually swing by this place as it's on the way home for me. The owner here is very friendly and will take care of you when you order your drinks.

Was in the area so tries this place out. They're ok. The decor is cute. The drinks were decent. I had the Black Sesame Matcha and it was good. You can taste the black Sesame and it wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciate. They did take longer to make the drinks than anticipated. I'm picky with my teas and coffee. Try it out if your in the area. You may like it.

Finally got to try this place out. Our barista was super nice and sweet. She recommended the Lavender Milk Tea so that's exactly what I got with Boba. My mom and sister got Boba Milk Teas which were pretty good as well. They give a pretty generous amount of boba which is always a plus! They also serve ice cream there and other desserts but we didn't get the chance to try them at the time. Overall, a pretty decent spot to get your boba fix. Not the best location though.

This ... this is the best boba / drinks I've ever had in my life. Don't even know where to begin. The service was ASTOUNDING! We wanted to try the strawberry cheesecake but they were out of the necessary ingredients. The sunset lemonade and brown sugar milk drink looks like the next best option. The associate asked if I was OK with the jellies in the sunset lemonade, gave me a sample to ensure I would like it, and I did! They have non-dairy options and we chose to sub out the milk with almond milk for the brown sugar Boba drink. It tasted like the best ice cream milkshake .. blew my socks off! The Sunset lemonade was a dream, fresh lemons chilled tasted better than I can describe with words. Please do your favor and head over immediately.

So don't take it from me, take it from my teenage boba-loving daughter...." This boba is bomb". This is her favorite new place and is now a convert from Quickly. She's also a fan of the baked goods. You can practically play frisbee with those cookies they are so big. From my end I'll say the coffee drinks are fine. Not life changing, but certainly decent. Customer service is always great and they work very fast on your order. Inside is super contemporary, complete with an Instagram ready photo op wall. Definitely worth the stop if your looking for some boba in the area.

As the name implies, this place really is a lair. I would not expect a boba place in such a non-assuming plaza. Outside of a singular photo op wall, this place really gave me "Quickly" vibes and my expectations were kind of low. Boy was I surprised! I got the pumpkin cloud milk tea which is a chai milk tea with homemade pumpkin cream. BOMB. Imagine the pumpkin cream from Starbucks but richer, sweeter, and you actually get a copious amount of it. The pumpkin spice taste permeated my entire drink. Truly indulgent. The boba was just okay for me though, I might try a different topping next time.

    Do they have vegan options?

Some drinks are dairy-free and we also have milk substitutes. However we do not have vegan options for our pastries yet.

They let me know all the different desserts and options. They also explained pricing and availability to me. They showed me all the different toppings that they have for not just ice cream and sundaes, but crêpes as well. Considering I walked in here, thinking that this was strictly an ice cream place, they have a very large menu. One thing that I remember very fondly about my visit here was not that there were a lot of people here, but the people that were dining in, they were mostly families with children. That may not seem like an important thing, but to me, seeing that is precious More often than not, you see children, their parents, and even their parents parents. So sometimes you get a small group of people, but really you have three generations. Quality time like that is absolutely precious and to see them so engaged in conversation with one another and laughing the entire time and sharing dessert, that was so awesome. Sharing ice cream with my dad at an ice cream parlor near our home is a very fond memory for me. So I guess that's why I paid attention to this while we died at scoop Street. When I took a moment to take a step back and look at our little family, we also were there in our lil three generational group: me, my kiddo & my Mom. The prices here are more than reasonable. The ice cream that is used for their desserts is from thrifty. The waffle cones are made in house and smell amazing. There really wasn't anything more than I could've asked of this visit to the ice cream shop. This was so special. Servers: Art & Austin

They have all sorts of different options - funnel cake, cookie sundaes, brownie sundaes, cookie ice cream sandwiches, deep fried oreos, etc. Everything is made fresh - i saw balls of cookie dough, my funnel cake was fried right there, and so were the oreos. The portions are generous. My favorite thing was the oreos. Im not wild about thrifty ice cream which is why i got funnel cake, but i guess i just...wasnt that into it. They arent reinventing the wheel here. Plus it was hot inside and the tables were all graffitied. I live quite far so i probably wont be back - my friend seemed to have a nice time though!

A few years ago I came in and the person working the front was extremely rude to me. Let me know I contact with me, didn't greet me, we had to get their attention and when we did, they gave attitude. I ended up walking out and they're not purchasing anything. Years ago when they first opened, I used to work in one of the nearby shops and people that were so kind and reall I used to genuinely care about and support this business, but the customer service has steadily declined. Today, I walked in with my service animal. As soon as we entered, he lay down because it was extremely hot outside. Like most dogs, he was curious about the smells around him, but he remained calm and under control. The employees at the front asked whether he was a service animal, and I told them that he was. While I was trying to place my order on the tablet, no one offered to help me. My dog walked a few steps away from me while still attached to his leash. There were no other customers in the shop. One of the employees told me that if my dog continued to pull against the leash, she would have to ask me to leave. After noticing my reaction, she quietly added that I could leave him outside. I simply replied, "No, thank you," and walked out. I understand the importance of maintaining health and safety standards and following company policies, but the way this situation was handled felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. My dog was not bothering anyone, and there wasn't a single customer in the store. Businesses should also understand that service animals are protected under the law and generally cannot be excluded simply because they are present. A service animal must be under the handler's control, but asking someone to leave under these circumstances was disappointing. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
