Came in for dinner with my daughter a couple nights ago. We split the Pretzels and Stout Cheese. She got the Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese. I got the Chicken Chesapeake. Everything was great except my chicken was over cooked but the crab dip on top covered it up for the most part. Our waitress was very sweet and took great care of us. The little hallway leading back to the bathrooms is decorated to look like your walking down a main street with a bunch of businesses surrounding the area. Food is really good, took a large group and everyone was very satisfied. The servers were super sweet and the atmosphere was great!

Burger was pretty good in size and flavor but it went down from there. No American beer. Tried an ale but no thanks. I just enjoy my Miller Lite with a burger. I got the black and blue burger which was on this edge of overcooked, but it was flavorful. I ordered the fries instead of chips and they were OK but not much flavor. The $3 salad greens (that I paid $7 for) were neither cold nor fresh (starting to wilt), croutons were really stale so somebody should probably take a look at that sometime. The bartender was friendly and nice enough and I wholeheartedly think that tips should be shared but only with those individuals who directly support that particular customer. This automatically removes any extra incentive to give your server a more pronounced tip so I don't get the automatic tip policy (see attached pic). read more

I decided to not leave a 1 star review because the quality of the food was actually pretty good, and everyone in my family enjoyed their meals. I have no complaints about the flavor of anything. Also, our server was very kind and helpful. However, the management was very poor and you can tell they do not actually care about the customer or experience. I came in with my family and because of dietary restrictions- I asked for the ribeye dinner with no sides, and asked to ADD a side of salmon. Of course, expecting to pay however much it was to add a side of salmon to my already $26 entree. We were told that in order to get salmon with my entree we had to buy the salmon entree (another $26). If you look at the menu, it clearly says "protein add on" under the salads, which means that there is a price ($8) for a plain side of salmon. When my father went to inquire about this the manager said it's not doable- and turned her back to him. I have worked in restaurants all my life, and any good manager or restaurant owner knows- if someone is requesting to SPEND MORE money, to add something on to an entree, you do it. OR you suggest a way to make it doable for the customer. For example, if you pay for a small salad, and add salmon, we can make it work for you. Any other restaurant I've ever been to would've gladly made this work. read more

Food was very good and fresh. Onion rings made right! Portobello wrap was very tasty. Will be back!

Food and drinks were great and excellent service! THEY DO NOT HAVE WORKING AC.. we were ready to get to-go boxes as soon as we got our food because it was so hot inside it was uncomfortable and unbearable!! Would not recommend going on a hot summer day. read more

Not enough of a beer selection for this to be called a tap house IMO. We got there at 8:06pm and we're bummed to find out they had a limited menu from 8-10pm. I just want to say the review is not based on the food or service I received today but the 10% hospitality tip I had to pay. As I was told by staff it's a ten percent fee that goes to the owner so he can pay out the rest of the staff. This 10% also is not included in the tip you would normally pay as well. After speaking with a few members they stated that they have tracked their paycheck and don't even see the extra money on the paycheck. Unsure what the deal is but will not be returning and I recommend you don't either. read more

Afternoon stop for a beer and late lunch. House lager is very tasty. I had the pizza and it was fantastic. Crown Royal BBQ sauce perfect topping for the chicken, bacon, and onions. Crust best I've had. Companion loved the tacos and said habenaro salsa was spicy but delicious. Highlight was definitely the cookie in a mini cast iron skillet. Server was pretty and attentive. Most impressive was the upfront notice about a 10% hospitality fee. Didn't mind a bit and added to it. Unfortunately, I live in Texas but will be back for sure when I pass this way again. read more

Service is majority very well. They could use more space. Food is good. I am annoyed that they advertise milkshakes on their menu but every time we eat lunch or dinner there they tell us they are not serving milkshakes. If that's the case they need to remove it from the menu. For that reason they only get 3 stars. read more

I was excited to come here because York doesn't have a lot to offer and Taphouse 6 looked promising. The pizza was essentially raw. It was the same texture as a microwaveable 7-11 pizza that a trucker might eat. No crispness whatsoever. The drink was nothing like what the description was. It was a sad disappointment. read more

Delicious and different sandwiches. It's a small place but it's very nice. Very close to home also.

My husband and I came here for a lunch date. The atmosphere was really nice and the service was great! The menu was fun and had some really cool food options. The 6 on the beach drink was delightful. The nacho appetizer was also very good. I ordered the rockfish tacos and my husband had the whiskey burger. The burger was pretty good but not outstanding. The rockfish tacos were completely oversalted. I ate one and it was just too much. Overall it started off great but the main food was a let down. read more

We ordered the crabcake sandwich and a grilled cheese sandwich. The Taphouse insignia stamped on the roll was the best thing about the crabcake sandwich and that to the tune of $28. The tomatoes were tiny and hardly visible, very tiny. The french fries were cold and already wilting and soggy. The server was friendly but for the lack of customers at the time in the restaurant, things were forgotten and for the 10% pre-added in tip, this place was a disappointment. A tip was left on top of the 10% but it was difficult to leave a tip for such a subpar meal and a bill of $92. This place can do better. read more

Ambiance is what you'd expect for a TapHouse service was okay but definitely not the best. Our server didn't quite get our order correct but it was workable. The food was mediocre with the exception of the Whiskey D BBQ Pizza which was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Burger left a lot to be desired for $14! There wasn't even an ample piece of lettuce on it. We won't be coming back and I'd advise any families against making the trip. Just not worth cost. read more

Great place for something a bit different than the chain restaurants in Hanover. Their brick oven pizzas and quesadillas are delicious. I particularly enjoy the street tacos. You can taste the fresh ingredients...and sometimes see the fresh basil growing outside in the back. read more

I have a mixed review. the servers are amazing but when you get the check it says (10% hospitality ahead) you would think it goes to your server but IT DOES NOT. it goes to the owner/allegedly everyone but NOT to your server directly. so when you add an additional 10% thinking your doing 20%, your not. very deceiving. read more

For the second time in a row the Pub Burger was delicious! Prepared exactly as requested and a sizable burger that is obviously not preformed. Online ordering was easy and service was great. Taphouse6 is a welcome addition to South Hanover. read more

Negatives: The wait is understandable due to COVID. 50 min for 4 of us. The server didn't know the drafts or bottled beers but told us we could look at the 2 signs and pointed at them. (Across the restaurant-had to stand and look for them) The hostess decided to spray strong smelling chemicals right next to us to clean the windows. Not pleasant at all. The appetizers took a long time to come out. No silverware on the table. Had to stop someone and ask for them. The server didn't know if the sandwiches we were asking about were served hot or cold. My husband wanted to order the fish and chips but they were out. He ended up ordering a burger, medium. Came out well done. My daughters mac n cheese wasn't even warm, it was cold. Had to send it back. We waited 30 min to get our check and for our server to come back and take our bill. (There were only two other occupied tables in the restaurant) Positives: The spinach crab & artichoke dip was good, and so was the turkey sandwich. The mozzarella sandwich was good, but my son wished it had chicken or some kind of meat in it. The interior is nice and we liked the rustic/industrial look. The chef (?) that brought items to our table was very nice and friendly. All this said we will go back and try it another time, but will wait for awhile. I live in area and tried the Taphouse for first time last Saturday. Food was great, Good ambience, but service was a bit wanting. Bexxxany, our server was not very friendly or attentive. Had to ask for drink refills a couple of times. She got our order wrong--she asked if i wanted chips or fries with my order. I said chips but got fries. No big deal, but it was noted. I asked for sweetner for tea, but she didn't bring and had to ask a second time. She seemed distracted and uninterested even though restaurant wasn't too busy at the time and it lookied like they had several servers working at the time. Would i go back, yes, highly likely, but hope we get a different server. read more

This is already somewhere that we intend to return to! They are still in the opening process but it's a great atmosphere. The beer selection is nice and the cocktails were good too. Staff was very friendly and the decor is also nice. The food was very delicious! Buffalo quesadilla and the buffalo chicken sandwich were great!
