Earles Supreme Burger, Own Cut French Fries, and Yuengling Draught.

We decided to stop because every time we travel by, the parking lot is full. Ashley W. was our Server and she was very attentive, courteous, and personable. We felt like we were locals. Talking with people we've never met before. The Earles Supreme Burger you build. I chose Pepper Jack Cheese and Chipotle Mustard. Quality Meat and loaded and so was my date's Italian Sub. The Draught Beer was cold . They offer Daily Specials. Pub food is always the best! - Tim and Judy

Love Earles, great people, great staff and awesome food with great portions. I had the Club Sandwhich which was absolutely great and my wife had the Fried Chicken Sandwich which she said was awesome. You got to go to Earles.

    The burgers were delicious!

My mom and I stopped at Earl's based on the reviews after shopping in Gettysburg. The biker bar vibes were strong as soon as we pulled into the parking lot, but my mom was game. The patrons and staff could not have been nicer! The food was excellent. My only negative is that it was smoky, but it's a bar. I'd absolutely go back.

We always are cheerfully greeted, and we are seated immediately because it was right after lunch and right before the dinner rush and we sat in the bar area on a high top and it worked out perfectly. Our server was outstanding. She came over got our drink order and if we wanted any appetizers which we did not get this time, but let me just say their appetizers are to kill for they are outstanding. As you can see in the photos, the burgers are done right they are nice and juicy and the toppings are just right in the buns are so fresh. It's crazy. So if you're in the Gettysburg Square area, we highly and I mean highly recommend stopping in here for either a burger or one of their other options which are all really good food well prepare prepared.

I forgot to take a picture but their brownie sundae was so good it was gone in a minute. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a delicious juicy burger!

I've visited a few times over the years and it has always been a good vibe. The customer service is good. The sad part is you would get 2 nice pieces of fish and waffle fries. Now it's two fish sticks and a small amount of regular fries. Obviously the price is the same which sadly is a bad deal. Sorry but I won't be back. 1 beer , 1 cider , fish & chips, 2 cups of patio and the loaded fries were $60. And had to pick up a sandwich on the way home. No value ... don't understand what happened ... it's cod ... it's cheap. Change the price a buck or two if needed but cutting the portion by by 4/6s is sad

It's clean and dark and warm. I wasn't expecting a Cheers welcome but we weren't even created when we walked in. The hostess was at her stations all the way inside the bottom floor. The hostess was polite when we approached and sat us upstairs per our request. That's where the spell of the place evaporated. We sat about 10-15 minutes before our server made it to us. (The place was not busy outside of the bar down stairs. When she asked us what we wanted to drink my friend ordered I said "I need a second what do you recommend between...." she interrupted and said "I'll be back." It took 20 minutes to come back with his drink (Guinness in a warm beer glass) I asked for water, she didn't acknowledge me and walked away. I tried to get her attention for the next 20 minutes so we could order. She would walk past us. I tried to flag her down again nothing. After about 40 minutes she came back to take our order. We were still hoping to turn the trip around as we were excited about the menu. We ordered the shelpards pie potato skins, a bowl of cream of crab soup, a steak and the bangers stew. By the time our food made it to us we had been sitting almost an hour and a half. The soup was amazing. It was hot it was tasty the crab was forward, I really enjoyed it. The skins were mid. Some were over cooked some were just right. All of them were cold. It seemed like they were pre cooked and frozen to be reheated later. The steak was over cooked and all but flavorless. The potatoes were just wet mashed potatoes. And the beans were equally as bland. Non of it was hot. The bangers stew was... Almost edible. The potatoes. Good, onions and carrots and meat. All tasty on their own. The sauce though was ungodly sweet. So sweet that it made the rest inedible. All in all we were there for almost 2 hours. We were $91 into our tab. By the time the food came, we asked for our ticket and some boxes. We tried a few bites and left. I probably won't ever go back.

We had reservations, but they were so busy that we did not get acknowledged for a bit ..in fact we felt a bit like we were in the way in the long hallway with servers flying by. Unfortunately there were several things they were out of, but we made do. I'm not sure if there is a different chef, but the steak almost seemed boiled - it was tender but just not like I remembered. The pub is in the basement of the Federal Pointe Inn hotel, which was historically a schoolhouse. There are cool old class pictures of the former students all around the pub. (When I was there, someone was visiting whose father had actually been a student and she had fun looking for him in all of the old pictures.) The layout is long and narrow, which gives four options for seating: the bustling bar scene, a more formal dining room with around 10 tables, a private dining room with a single long dining table... ...and an anti-social hallway with bar service and a few tables, perfect for when you've had a long day on the road and don't particularly want to socialize with anyone but still want to know that other people are alive. I loved it... I had a chicken caesar wrap (minus bacon - didn't need it) which was delicious, along with the best grilled asparagus I've ever eaten, and a glass of wine to sip while unwinding. The service from the bartender was friendly and attentive, but unhurried. And he didn't make me feel guilty for not hanging out with everyone else at the bar. I would gladly return. It's the kind of place I could see myself becoming a low-key regular.
