I love myself a good breakfast, no matter what time of the day it is, and one of my fave breakfast things to eat is tapislog. I love eating at Tapa King when I've got some cash to spare and I'm in the mood for a good breakfast before school rather than grabbing a pack of crackers and a juice box and eating it on the jeep to the MRT station. It's also something warm to eat during the rainy -ber months where I have to wait for the rain to lessen before commuting home.

I'm a sucker for the Tapa Queen though, because you can never go wrong with sweet and spicy, and most of the time I order that, although all the Tapa platters are absolutely delicious. It comes with egg and a just-the-right-amount-of-sweet-and-sour atchara, and if their tapa doesn't serve as a bright beginning/ending to your day then I don't know what will. read more
