Too many hustlers. They're all over us to make a choice. Pressure selling ‍ I'm not sure if we got a good deal. Moving too fast.

I'm from California where market seafood restaurants are a thing and ooooof this place is soooo…read moregood!! The best thing about it is that if was Filipino food - what a dream! It was really hard to say what my favorite dish was because everything was so delicious and incomparable. What we ordered: -Garlic, chili shrimp: Oh my gosh. IT WAS SO DELICIOUS!! It was flavored, seasoned just right. It had a sweet little taste to the flavoring and my assumption is that it was due to the butter in the PI. I would HIGHLY recommend getting this! -Tenigue sinigang: I've never had fresh tenegue until visiting the Philippines. Tenigue is delicious - it has a similar taste and texture to tuna. Add Tenigue in sinigang and wow - how delicious!! The thick, flakey texture adds so much depth to the sinigang. -Bulalo: I didn't try this but my brother ate the whole bowl and didn't really share with the rest of the group. *eye rolls* anyway, he must have enjoyed it a lot since he didn't share. The only thing he mentioned was the fact that it didn't have enough of "fat" -Fried Tenigue: Another variation of Tenigue. So good!! I dipped it in Patis and Calamansi. -Fried tilapia: I mean, it's basically fresh, fried tilapia and what else can you ask for? But if you're just gonna order fried seafood, I'd pair it with their veggies or their pinakbet. -Pinakbet: We got our pinakbet without any shrimp since my mom has a shrimp allergy. Without the shrimp, it was amazing!! I loved the mix of veggies. The veggies were cooked really well too - it wasn't too soggy which could happen really easily. I can only assume that the pinakbet bet with shrimp probably taste better. Other tips/hints: -Free, fast WiFi. It was great for travelers like me! -Parking. Easy to find and there was a small fee.

The first time I saw an ad for instant ulam being cooked in a plastic bag, it weirded me out,…read moremostly because of the belief that plastic isn't meant to be cooked in. So when I heard of a restaurant doing the same, I wanted to see and try it for myself. It was a Sunday when we headed to Boiling Seafood in Alabang Town Center. It's nice because they charge by the weight of the seafood then you get to choose from several options for the sauce you want to have it cooked in. We were quite lucky in arriving a bit early for dinner as soon after we ordered, the tables were all occupied and there was already a short queue for tables. I like how they gave each of us bibs to ensure our clothes wouldn't get stained. Excited, we first had a taste of their buffalo wings. It had a sweet and slightly spicy sauce, which was a good match to the ranch dressing it came with. We were a bit short on the dressing, so we asked for more and were given another serving with no extra charge. Then our mains were served, and I ogled at the crabs, shrimps, and clams all in clear plastic bags, swimming in their respective sauces. I first got the crab (mostly so I can get the parts I liked), which we had cooked with curry. It was delicious and really tasted of coconut cream. Then I had the clams cooked in butter and garlic. I personally don't like clams very much, but I would say that I'm pretty sure the clams were fresh because it was soft and not rubbery. To finish, I had a few pieces of the shrimps in sweet chili garlic. It was delectable! The sauce was so good, I took a spoonful and drizzled it on my rice. That dinner was so good, just writing about it now is making me crave for Boiling Seafood again!

It was a rainy day filled with hunger and indecision until I came upon Fish & Co. I made the final decision just because I was so hungry. We ordered prawns fettuccine, grilled chicken peri-peri, crispy crablets (fell in LOVE with these during this vacation), and the big seafood platter of calamari, seasonal fish (don't remember what it was that day), prawns, and mussels. Everything was nothing short of PHENOMENAL. I'm so glad my hunger led me to this place. My desperation can lead me to fast food or settling for mediocre fare. When I return to the Philippines, hopefully within the next two years, it is a priority for me to return here!

It ruins the dish every time and there is nothing worst than tasting and smelling your freezer in your meal. So while lots of restaurants have tried to master their fish & chips menu, there is only one restaurant for me that perfects it ever time - Fish & Co. Admittedly, I don't really order their other dishes except for their most popular item, so I can't say much about their other dishes. Aside from their spectacular fish & chips, I especially love the garlic sauce that come with. I also ask for extra whenever I'm here. Staff members are always a pleasure making it one of my favorite restaurants in the Metro.
