Service was quick but we had to ask the server for various items multiple times before we got everything. Utensils, napkins, cream, water Food was very good. I didn't expect much from this airport restaurant but a few items on the menu were very delicious. When you can I recommend you eat in their covered patio. The chicken soup was fresh, tasty and satisfying. The cheeseburger was very good especially with a Pliny the elder draft beer. The service was friendly and helpful. The drinks were good and the beer was ice cold. I can't complain about a great meal. It's a cute outdoor patio while you wait for your plane. read more

As. A local we eat there all the time. Food is good. However, yesterday we had the worst experience with the manager. Never had issues with the bill till yesterday. I questioned the manager about the reason for adding the tip and also adding food for kitchen and liquor charges. I also asked as locals why were we being charged $20 for corkage fee, I told her the last 3 previous times we were charged $15.00 why does it keep changing fees. Loudly she said, and pointed at the menu. It was written in the bottom of the menu, small letters hardly visible. Before paying the bill I approached the manager and asked her, if she was offended by my question. She was rude to me and said no I was trying to apologize to her. She disrespected me said out loud, in front of customers " I don't make the rules that's how it is!! Of course this didn't go well we me I was wrong using the B word, cause she turned her back to me. But I felt disrespected. My bad. I have been a customer there since living in Sonoma County when the restaurant was under a different name. Anyway, she called security. My wife and I stepped out of the restaurant to talked to him explaining she didn't have to be disrespectful. He said u don't have to pay the bill. I said no i want to pay. We went in submitted my card into the machine, I was surprised to see it was asking for tip. While paying, the manager out loud told my wife to get out of the restaurant only one person is needed to pay. There was no reason to continue to escalate because we were not causing any problems just trying to pay. We are elders and people of color. Basically I reported her to the airport manger. She in my opinion needs to handle patrons with respect and dignity without getting offended when asked questions about the bill!! I have that right since I am paying. read more

The convenience is key. It is about 100 ft from security. Covered outdoor patio and plenty of seating indoors and out. Small bar area. Stopped in prior to my flight for breakfast. Asked for a mocha, waitress replied they don't have them. Okay, how about a hot cocoa? Same answer, don't have cocoa. Alright, how about a coffee with whipped cream? No, don't have that either. I'm like, seriously? What do you have? Black coffee or turn menu over to a FULL PAGE MENU COVERED WITH BOOZE ITEMS! That's great for drunks in the morning but I don't drink. So please fix your menu and add appropriate choices for breakfast beverages that are non alcoholic or juice. Please! Food was fine. Despite the bland decor and boring menu, Tap and Pour's food and service were both pretty good. The dining area is finalizing a remodel, so I have to give them a pass as I expect more to come. The menu is primarily sandwiches, salads, and some bar food. You can find the menu at any generic airport restaurant, but the sandwiches we got were tasty, fresh if not basic. Our server was prompt, though a little distracted. Tap & Pour is expected to change to the Flying Ace in the months to come and I hope the menu is more inspired. read more

Stopped by this past weekend after the airport expansion celebration. Service was attentive, there was a small, limited menu. Drinks were normal airport prices, a bit inflated. However, it just didn't seem clean. The windows were dirty inside and outside, the door to the outside patio was ajar and there were lots of flies near the bar. We used to come early to have a meal before our flight. Sadly this place changed hands. The food is VERY disappointing. We ordered a caprisi salad (18!) that was awful. We thought about getting a couple glasses of La Crème wine but at $26/glass we decided to pass. It's a $15 bottle! I thought this place was supposed to get a makeover they haven't changed anything but the name and the menu. The entire restaurant looks exactly like it did before the new ownership. They apparently don't have any storage for the bar in the kitchen since there's a glass door refrigerator right on the service floor next to table with gallons of milk and butter in it. I miss the bar from the previous ownership, and for the whole of summer it's been tarped off with no clear direction of what they plan to do with that space. The best part of this spot is the atrium-style windows that are now the tarped-off aforementioned defunct bar and a storage space for boxes. Menu and drinks are overpriced and meh. First impressions are important. Travelers who come to our County expect fine food and service. I have been a patron of the Sonoma County Airport for nearly 50 years. The Tap & Pour is absolutely the worst restaurant I have ever dined at. The place is filthy. The staff is surly and uncommunicative. My table was dirty with a big glass ring from the previous diner, along with food bits and crumbs. After I had struggled to consume my crappy, pricey terrible salad featuring dry hacked bits of chicken, my server said the only sentence she uttered, "that was fast". This cost me...wait for it...$27.95!!! I am just glad I did not want a cocktail, they charge $17! For the first time in my life, I left no tip for the staff. I asked to talk to the manager. The manager...no better than the server, hardly lifted her head to look me in the eye as I tried to explain my experience. Now...I am no dilettante or gourmet and I have worked in restaurants myself but now I am angry. I drove to the Airport Manager's office and filed a formal complaint. I went there for a bite to eat and a drink before getting on a flight. I think this place was supposed to be transitioned to a new restaurant but every time I have walked by over the past few months it looks like nothing more has been done. I sat outside and the service started off great. After looking over the menu I ordered the club sandwich. The server then told me they had a limited menu because they are short staffed. I asked which specific items they were serving and she pointed them out. I asked her to give me another minute. I ordered a chicken caeser salad and an ice tea. My wife and daughter then joined me and ordered some onion rings and a glass of wine each. Onion rings were good, salad was ok, not much chicken on it for an additional $8. After we got our food I had to get up 3 times to find our server who was inside sitting at a table with what looked like a few other employees to get me some more ice tea, water and our bill. Bill was around $120. Really not a great experience. I hope as they get the restaurant fully completed the service and food will improve. Hate to leave a bad review. read more
