These donuts are terrible. Whoever heard of a cinnamon roll with no cinnamon on it? They don't taste good. Waste of my damn money ! I'm pissed my husband bought the donuts here . He works at the post office and said they buy their donuts here! I said why? People will buy and eat anything! After tasting these crappy donuts I'm considering going into business for myself!

Hello North County!! Nette B is here... TIP: CASH ONLY and if you don't have cash there's an ATM machine inside. Hmmmm heard good things from friends but IDK... I might have to give the another try. The worker was nice. The selections were good. I ordered 2 dz donuts and I ate a glaze donut. It was sugary on the outside but it didn't wow me. It was just alright. The coffee was good too.

Just a better picture of their smoothie selection.

Tans is always our go to place for great donuts and breakfast sandwiches. Our girls love the selection of donuts and we all love the taste.

    Yummy!

I love this little hidden gem! I tried a lot of flavor boba and the doughnuts are super fresh and delicious. This place is a must visit!

This business has been here a very long time and has not changed much. The donuts and boba drinks were great! Parking is easy and available every time I went. Employees were nice. If you want donut holes go early cause they run out before anything else.

They have a massive selection to choose from, and I ended up trying the French Toast donut. It had that exact light, pillowy, croissant-like texture the other guest mentioned. I also loved that it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet like donuts from other shops can be. It was so light that I enjoyed it in the morning and still had plenty of room for breakfast afterward. My only regret is that I didn't have a bigger group with me--I wish I could have ordered a bunch of different flavors to share. I'll definitely be back for more!

My fiancée & I had seen Parlor Doughnuts numerous times after the Oceanside Sunset Market. & every single 1 of those times, we were already too full from grazing at all the food stands by then to give it a try. So on a Saturday afternoon, when we just happened to be nearby, we popped in for some impulse buy doughnuts. With a staggering variety of delicious looking toppings/ flavors, the possibilities looked enticingly intriguing. Staff behind the counter was friendly attentive, & helpful. Although there are some savory options available, which seemed to me like pizza toppings on doughnuts, we stuck with sweet: maple bacon & bourbon caramel. Tried & true flavor combinations, both. But the dough, whoa. For starters, the 2 doughnuts we got didn't have holes. That actually makes a difference in how the doughnut cooks. Secondly, the dough ate more like bread dough than a doughnut. Doughnuts have a hole for a reason. You see, it's physics, son. When you consider how thermodynamics affects an oblate spheroid vs. a toroidal sphere, it becomes evident that a doughnut without a hole will not cook evenly throughout inside. In fact, this was specifically proven on MasterChef Canada Season 8, Episode 8 during a doughnut pressure test. In that episode, Andres forgot to put holes in his doughnuts & they were undercooked in the center. Hey, I did start this review with admitting I'm a nerd who watches too many cooking competition shows. Uniform doneness aside, there was also the breadiness. If I'd been told these doughnuts were some kind of new take on Pan Dulce, maybe I would've liked them more. But given the expectation of a doughnut, what I tried at Parlor Doughnuts just wasn't it. The staff was great, & the toppings were fine. But with the word "dough" literally in the name of the product, to come up short there leaves something to be desired.

I assume they make a certain amount and when they're gone they close and that's probably the way most places do it. Donuts were good, not greasy. I'm not a big donut person so they were ok and comparable to most places that don't have a greasy donut that leaves that oily taste in your mouth. What I really came for was the ham and cheese croissant but it was a little disappointing. Prices were actually much higher than I was expecting. We paid almost $20 for a ham and cheese croissant, blueberry cheese danish and 6 donuts including a cinnamon twist thing that I assume was supposed to be more than the others but I can't wrap my head around $18.30 for what we ordered. I legit think she charged me for 15 donuts instead of 5 cuz I saw something ring up as 15. Based off that I can confidently say I won't return. Items werent worth what I paid and if it was an error charge, the employee should have known that what I ordered was not close to $20 so I cant recommend this place

Entering: Never greeted let alone not acknowledged until it became barely. As someone who has worked all types of jobs, going as far back as when I was a teen myself - this is important. The two youngest ladies, at the register, were deep in their gossip that I doubt they noticed we walked in; only customers. I tried to get their attention but to no avail until I walked over and stood in front on them where their conversation had to be cut short. Quality of goods: I ordered a chocolate chip cookie, to share later with my girls and orders sometime raspberry for my teen son that he could enjoy later on break. The cookie was huge, yes, but nothing that beats the moist and chewy cookies I make myself at home, which I can't currently do since my kitchen is beinf remodeled. I asked my son on his bougie donut, later in the day, and he did the so-so hand and gave it an ok and dry. At end: we will stick to SK for service and quality.
