I live in area & went in to try the vegan options. I was pleased with the Hippie Hash that I ordered,& I saw at least 2 other vegan options on menu. The ambiance was great,& food was fresh & very good. I will most definitely return to try the other vegan-friendly dishes. Since my 1st time there, described above, I have returned several times. If you ask them, the food is made fresh to order, so food items that are not vegan are easy enough to exclude, like in most of the salads,& you can add tofu to any salad. The tofu scramble substitute for the build it yourself scramble/omelette is good. They also have vegan butter with the toast,& I've tried the multigrain and rye breads that I know are vegan,& perhaps other types are as well. There is also a version of avocado toast on their menu, which can be made vegan friendly by excluding non-vegan items like the feta,& that avocado spread is vegan and can be used with other dishes. Lastly, the service is great,& the food is fresh and tastes great. It's a great addition to the local cuisine in this part of Delaware County! read more

Before going into Tank and Libby's, I'll admit, I assumed it was going to be a typical Delaware County, diner-style breakfast and lunch spot. Regardless, I heard a new restaurant was opening up in the community, so I decided to check it out. I was in for a HUGE surprise. Tank and Libby's is definitely not one of your, "run-of-the-mill," Delaware-County breakfast spots. When I first walked in, I was impressed with the ambiance: the music, combined with the theme in the restaurant channeled a very relaxing, "beach" atmosphere. Shortly after entering the restaurant, I was seated by the hostess and given their menu. When I started looking at their menu, I realized that their options were incredible! And definitely NOT what I was expecting! On Tank and Libby's menu, you wont find your ordinary "burger and fries" selection. Instead, each item appears as if it were hand crafted by the chief himself. For instance their Brunch Burger (as described by their online menu) is an 8 oz. black angus burger, pork roll, fried egg, hash brown patty, ameican cheese, ketchup, brioche bun. While their pancakes includes items like, "The Great One- thick cut challah, nutella stuffed, strawberry, whipped cream." I ended up getting the burger and was thoroughly impressed by it!!!! The fired egg on top definitely made all the difference. I told my waitress, she better watch out bc my next visit, I'm going to try the great one‼‼‼‼‼ and after that I'm going to try their Banana Foster pancakes, then their chicken and waffles!!!! Oh yeah !!!! SO glad I checked out this spot. The food is truly incredible. And the atmosphere, is one-of-kind for Delaware county. Thanks Tank and Libby's!! I'll def see you soon! Have only had takeout but the food and service were great! I had a bacon and spinach omelette with a biscuit and grits, and the blueberry pancakes. Everything was delicious and well seasoned/spiced. Meal was extremely delicious I had eggs which was prepared to my liking and believe you me I'm a hard critic on my preparation of my food my wife had pancakes she too was pleased our waitress /server was very tentative to our needs. My husband and I have visited Tank and Libby's probably half a dozen times now, both pre and amidst-pandemic and every time have walked away full and oh so satisfied! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is working hard to keep people safe during COVID. And the food....we've tried a variety of items - omelettes, scrapple, lobster roll, bacon and eggs, and most recently the heuvos rancheros. Everything has been fantastic and they definitely give you a plateful! And those heuvos rancheros....best I have ever had! read more

Everything here is delicious. The eggs are great, the bacon is thick and cooked just right, the coffee is excellent, the service is wonderful. The French Toast is terrific. And you can have breakfast items for lunch, which is always a treat. There is plenty of seating, and they are going to need all of those seats. This is as good as breakfast gets. I've been to this place several times but the one time I thought everything would be ok it wasn't. There was hair in my food and the waitress and manager refused to take the item off my bill. Instead I was offered a pastry to accommodate me. How rude. The manager was not nice at all. Even though the customer is always right. Upper Darby is the bridge between the city and the burbs, and is home to some of the areas best Vietnamese and Korean spots, but up until the past year or so, lacked a decent brunch spot. Tank & Libby's definitely has the potential to change that. Located in Pilgrim Gardens, the interior is welcoming if a little generic. We went on opening weekend and it was packed, but the host was efficient and we were seating before the 20 minutes we were told it would take. The waitress was quick with coffee, and they do a great job, bold dark and strong brew that holds its own with my favorite coffee spots. The meal was a little less so. I had the tofu scramble with avocado. The avocado was fresh and I added salsa which also was good, but the tofu seemed a mushy afterthought. My dining partner had the traditional omelette and described it as decent if not remarkable. That said, they seemed to be a little overwhelmed by the outpouring of people on the opening weekend, so I'll definitely be back for a second chance, I hope they do well, the owner cane out and greeted us and the waitress couldn't have been kinder. read more

My mom recommended I try this spot and I'm so glad I did. Amazing experience all around. First of all, the service was top notch. I was seated immediately on arrival. The tables- both inside and outside- are actually adequately distanced. Many restaurants are not getting this right, and so I was so glad to see that Tank & Libby's was doing this. I sat inside and was able to order- and pay- without touching anything but my own phone. The food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Momma omelet- yum. Such a great surprise on our way from South Jersey to Bethlehem, PA. Right off of 476, so it didn't take us far off our route. Our waitress was Jean-Marie I believe. She flagged us over to sit at her bar with a friendly and welcoming smile. I started with a hot, delicious coffee and tried to make a decision for breakfast. Jean-Marie recommended "mom's omelette," which was deliciously loaded with spinach, mushrooms, grape tomatoes, and goat cheese. The potatoes and multi-grain toast that accompanied the omelette were wonderful. My husband had a crab cake Benny, and was in love. He said it was the best he's had since Blue Heaven in Key West. We will have to make a trip to Tank and Libby's--even when we are not on our way somewhere else! read more
