Centrella's Deli sells Stock's Bakery pound cakes. Vanilla, marbled, iced, straight up. and ... They sell Isgro pastries. The jewels of two legendary Philly bakeries under one roof. Oh, sure, they have a great deli, a supply of P & S (fitting, since the space used to be a P & S store) and some grab and go foods, too. These are great. Their pepperoni & cheese Stromboli is fantastic, mostly because it's wrapped in buttery garlic bread. Mmmm. Staff were lovely. One said "Don't worry, no one's going to take your pound cakes away" as they saw me clutching two against my chest. Yep, I'm making sure of that. Parking parallel on Brookline is pretty easy. There's also a flat lot 1/2 a block away. Both are pay/metered.
