We've previously dined in here and had a good experience. It is a nice First Watch-like restaurant. When our go-to omelet restaurant in Drexel Hill was closed for vacation, we chose Tank and Libby's. I give them lots of credit for their online ordering app--so easy and useful! I don't know if this app was built out for the pandemic, but thumbs up ! We had the Momma and create-your-own omelet. The Momma was pretty good. The create-your-own was a bit watery but could have been due to take out and travel. Tasty though. We really liked the potatoes a lot!! We got a side of blueberry pancakes. These were disappointing to us because they were so so cakey and very thick. Flavor was ok, but SO cakey and dry. Portions were very generous. We enjoyed the staff when we went to pick up the order. They got everything right in the order which was very nice. Definitely a strong Drexel Hill contender in the breakfast market and we'd go back to try other things. read more

Meh...just plain ol' Meh...but it's better than 2-Stars First, this place gets CROWDED. But, that's obviously more because there's a limited number of breakfast locations in the Drexel Hill/Broomall Area. So, be prepared to wait. The motif is, "confusing" at best. It's decorated with a "beach" theme, with Delco influences, which is interesting at best. I did like seeing the "Circus Towne" photo on the wall, though. I did stand up and look at the kitchen. It looks clean. The wait staff is sub-Meh. You don't get a sense that this is a job that they're focused on or good at. The food, for me, is super-Meh. My pancakes really tasted like a birthday cake, which weirded me out a bit. And the sausage didn't taste like anything. The biscuits and gravy tasted a lot better than it looked. I can't see this place lasting. They just seem a tad overwhelmed, and there's no real draw to coming here. I have been to this place when my friend referred it for a Sunday brunch. This place is very hard to get an immediate table due to their popularity and hours. So be prepared to wait 20-40 mins for a table on the weekends. Love there home fries they are deliciously loaded so you will have som to take home. Love the friend toasted you have the option to get 2 or 4 slices of bread. Same with the pancake which are huge so unless you are getting bitten to share get one or two. They don't reheat well so no enjoying them as leftovers. I love that the have the option to sit outside and off free and metered parking. Where to start.... the place was clean and welcoming. The food selection was great! Everything we saw come from the kitchen looked great. The plates of pancakes was as big as you head. I ordered a hangover omelette and potatoes. I was totally stuffed when I finished up. My wife ordered mama omelette and she ate every bite. For breakfast, you can't go wrong. I was first introduced to this restaurant by my sister, we went for brunch. Since then, I've gone back over 15 times (in under 6 months span) I even brought some friends out there to try the food. They were not disappointed. I kid you not, everything we all have ordered has been delicious! They even had amazing shrimp & grits, which my friend said most places do not get right, but Tank and Libby's hit it right on the head. The best part is the staff, they are amazing and attentive, be sure to tip well, as they are wonderful people and offer great service. Went her with coworker to celebrate and the food and service was excellent. The portions and price was reasonable for the amount of food you get...I ordered the pancakes scrapple and a eggwhite omelet and could only eat one pancakes and a piece of the omelet and a fee bites of the scrapple. The omelet had to be one of the best I've ever had the mushrooms and spinach was so fresh...will be going back!!! read more

Paper straws... Will never go back again. Seriously. No better way to ruin someone's meal than sucking your drink through a toilet paper tube. It's enough that the food already lacks flavor because it cooked to be "healthy". Portions were ok, but everything lacked flavor. I don't know about you, but when I order scrapple or bacon, I expect them to be just a little greasy. My scrapple didn't even taste like scrapple. My potatoes were bland. With all the high reviews of this place I expected more. If you are looking for a super healthy breakfast and don't enjoy eating diner style breakfast, this place might be perfect for you. I had a really good server. Actually, servers. They acted as a team and were on point during my visit. They asked me if I had questions about the menu. I didn't have to wait long for my food, and they checked in frequently to make sure everything was good. They also gave me coffee for the road, which was a nice touch. PLUS, if you need a haircut, you can get a free one at the next door Big League Haircuts on the day of if you bring in your Tank and Libby's receipt--at least this was the offer on the day that I visited. We walked in and added our name to the wait list. My husband had a Wawa coffee in his hand. He brought it with him when we were seated. Our table was right in the middle of the room. Our waitress came over and picked it up and asked how he got it into her restaurant. We weren't sure if she was kidding. Her tone was so rude. She said you do know I serve coffee here right? She asked what we wanted, I ordered a sprite. She came over and slammed it down and walked away. The manager or owner came over at this point and started telling us all about their policy of bringing food or drink in from outside. We were embarrassed at this point. She was making a scene. I asked why she was doing this in front of everyone. She told my husband to pick up the coffee and remove it from her restaurant. It was a simple mistake. It could have been handled in a much better way. If this is how they treat customers at this place, we are happy to spend our money elsewhere. And we have made sure to spread the word. read more

I've been to Tank and Libby's only for take out about 4 times. Each time the food has been pretty good. Their portions are decently sized, and usually keep me full for the whole day if i decide to be greedy and I eat it all in one sitting. I've had the sausage or bacon egg and cheese on a roll; which comes with delicious home fries. My favorite is the big fish which comes with a white fish salad, smoked salmon and the works: bagel, capers, red onion, tomato and cucumber slices, and shredded lettuce. I can't speak on the service with dining in, but the times I've gone to pick up, the ladies at the counter have been attentive. My husband has done two pick up which he was not too happy about because he was not attended to or acknowledged for about 5 minutes. Other than that I recommend this place hands down! read more

Went here for brunch on a busy Saturday and waited 20 minutes for a table, which is not bad. They had a great menu and everything sounded good! This place reminds me of Green Eggs Cafe or Turning Point a bit. The basic breakfast items and skillet were really good and I had nothing to complain about. I would always pass by this spot while dropping off packages at UPS and USPS, and was curious about what it was, so I decided to give it a shot this past weekend. Contemplating breakfast options, I could have gone with the typical chain Perkins or Denny's nearby, but this new breakfast spot was interesting to see, and it blew me away. The convenience was what brought me to the venue, only 5 minutes away from my home. The inside decor was very homestyle, and the open kitchen was a nice touch. It was fairly crowded, which was a testament to the quality of the restaurant. We ordered The Tank, because breakfast skillets are always good, which satisfied my medley craving, and a Omelette Etoufee off the temporary paper menu, which was a savory and delectable combination of breakfast foods and salty sauce. Given its location, I definitely see myself returning to try out the rest of the menu in the future. Give this a shot if you're looking for breakfast in the area, but keep in mind it closes at 2:30 PM. read more

Beats Brunch Everyday on my all time list of best breakfast restaurants in the USA. Haven't had anything I didn't like. My girlfriend always gets the Tank. 4/5 times it has been perfect, however last time the potatoes were soggy. I get one of their types of pancakes, and the banana foster as well as the Dutch baby are the best out there. Their brûlée French toast is just as good. Their seasonal selections always look amazing- the pumpkin pie pancakes were great while they lasted. Awesome service. Be ready for a wait. Always 30 minutes MINIMUM on weekends even at 9am. read more

Great location right off of township line in the shopping center. The seating is a little tight but if you don't mind a layout which is cozy it's perfect. They seated us immediately as we walked in. We ordered a hot chocolate and their iced La Columba draft latte to start, costing $3 and $4 respectively. We then both ordered "The Tank", which came with eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, onion, and peppers, costing $12. Overall everything tasted great, accompanied by friendly and timely service. I hate to leave bad reviews and I get this is Mother's Day (the exact reason we wanted a nice takeout brunch) but we are SO disappointed with the lack of service today. I called this morning at 8:07 - 7 minutes after opening. The woman who took my order said it'd be over an hour. Which was fine. It's Mother's Day, again we expected to wait. What we did not expect was my husband to show up an hour later to be told there was no order. They order printed up when he was there and the manager said there was nothing he would do to expedite the order. We would be put at the back of the line and would be waiting at least another hour. To not even attempt to make things right is truly upsetting. How disappointing. Again we get things are crazy today but try to have a little customer service. read more

It was pretty busy so the time between ordering and food was about twenty-five to thirty minutes. The menu offers so many options for everyone. There are platters with eggs, potatoes, toast, and your choice of meats. A selection of omelettes or yhe option to create your own. If you are a frittata fan, you csn turn the omelette menu into a frittata for an additional $3. If you like to try speciality entrees the Tank&Libbys favorities will be for you. For those who love eggs Benedict, the menu offers a variety of options. Now for those craving buttermilk hot cakes I will say save your appetite as these are a hearty portion. Last but not least there is french toast. I cannot forget the menu options for lunch which includes soups, salads, and sandwiches. A perfect place for brunching as well. The wait staff is very attentive and accomodating with refills of coffee. The restaurant is located off of township line road in far end of the Pilgrim Gardens Shopping center on the side across from Chickie&Petes. My entree was the shrimp and grits entree which was andouille sausage, Cajun shrimp, scallions, peppers, and cheesy grits. This was served in a cast iron skillet. It was a spicy, cheesy and delicious. Grits that are cooked to a creamy consistency have won my vote. The other entree was the egg platter (eggs, potato hash, and bacon) with one buttermilk pancake.
