Wow such a great restaurant! Ordered delivery and was eating my meal within 20 min. Made a few special requests that were honored. This is my go to for Chinese take out and delivery. They are right up the street from me. The food is tasty. Delivery takes some time, so be patient (40-45+). We always get a fried rice, beef and broccoli, and orange or general tsos chicken. Tried their egg rolls recently and they are seriously some of the best egg rolls I have had. The reason their rating isn't better is because as I write this review, I am waiting on them to correct my order. Today they delivered the wrong thing. Delivered an oniony, peppery, beef dish...not beef and broccoli...the only thing my 5 yo eats. They were very apologetic and delivered the correct dish. I was very disappointed by the taste of the food, the last time I ordered from here. I ordered two chicken dishes and they were so disgusting that we had to throw them away. Alright thats it's. I am done with this place. I ordered double cooked pork and it seriously was the WORST CHINESE MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. I thought pork was supposed to be tender and fatty. This was dry and leathery. Tasted like a charred version of the red bits in a pork fried rice. The lo me in tasted like the instany ones you get at HEB. I know this place is clean and well kept. Its probably the only decent LOOKING Chinese establishment for miles. But besides their egg rolls, crab Rangoon the food is ghastly. I guess being frequenting China town at least 2 to 3x a month for delicious and authentic szechuan and hunanese meals can taint every other meal. Well the verdict is in. We will keep driving 35mins+ for good food. We will no longer sacrifice good food for proximity, and easy access. It is not worth the money. Farewell TANGS. Final score: F- for taste. We've had Tang's a handful of times. Portions are plentiful, service is good and prompt, and pricing is reasonable/comparable for chinese restaurant and take out. They also do delivery for take out which is super convenient and they're usually fast. Food is pretty good, somethings are better than others. Special fried rice, chicken wings, wonton soup and moo goo gai pan are very good. Egg rolls, general tso's and other popular dishes aren't as great and the reason I couldn't give a higher rating. read more

This is probably the best Chinese food you can get in Pearland. Their beef and shrimp combo fried rice is superb! They have yummy, crispy veggie spring roll appetizers which I love. My favorite entrees here are the four treasures which is a mixture of beef, chicken, shrimp and scallops stir fried with veggies and their Kung pao chicken dish. I've only ever ordered to-go so I haven't had a chance to dine-in yet. They put a hefty amount of food in each container. We always have leftovers for the next day when ordering from here. They have lunch specials during the week which are pretty good when dining alone or when you're not interested in a family-style meal. Price-wise, I think it's pretty comparable to nearby places except this is a better deal because the food is actually good. Finally, Chinese food take-out we actually like out here in the suburbs. The bourbon chicken wasn't good, some pieces of chicken were tough and other pieces were extremely dry. I could get better bourbon chicken at the mall. Although my first experience was brief ( I placed a carry-out order), it was great! I ordered Butter Chicken and steamed rice. It didn't knock my socks of, but iy was greatly executed. The chicken was so good that I didn't want to put it down. My mind was telling me to stop, but my tastebuds forced out me to continue bite after bite. The only let down was my fortune cookie, which was kind of stale. Luckily I ate that first, so everything tasted exponentially better from there. I ordered Butter Chicken and Beef with brocoli off the lunch menu. The portions were generous and the food was yummy. I didn't know what Butter Chicken was prior to ordering, but wanted to try something different...it's basically lightly battered chicken pieces seasoned with black pepper, onions & butter - no sauce. First time here, AMAZING! Pearland has been missing decent Chinese food for some time. Stopped in because of the reviews and we're leaving happy, stuffed, and impressed. With that said, I'm giving this Asian fusion restaurant high marks for: Quality, Taste and Value ($). I had the lunch special (L30) Shrimp w/garlic sauce. The food was fresh, tasty and hot. It took more than 12 min to get my food which was bad considering the restaurant itself has four flat screen TVs and free wifi, so the wait didn't seem long. The Shrimp w/garlic had large chunks of vegetables and large shrimp; the brown sauce was thick and not too garlicky - had an appropriate amount of "kick". The meal also came with a egg roll, wonton soup and fried rice. The portion size was more than I expected for $6.75. I came in on a Tuesday night, there was no one else in the restaurant. The staff was very attentive though, which is rare whenever there's no customers. I came in to pick up food for my class pot luck the next day. The menu is great but a little more expensive than a normal place. This is very much meant to be a sit down restaurant. The fried rice I got was great and worth the price. The mongolian beef was not. It had a bed of fried noodles on the bottom which i thought was a yummy touch but the texture of the meat was worse than what I could get at Panda Express. For 11 bucks, I was very unimpressed. We tried Tang's omg it was good. I consider myself a foodie and we usually drive to Houston for asian food but this will probably be our new date night spot. Here are the things I loved....check in on Yelp & you get free sake I hate sake but I actually loved theirs and ordered more. David was our server and he was awesome and made the visit even better. They have a minimal $5 corking fee so we enjoyed our own wine. For $2 you can add a couple of appetizers to your entree, the crab ragoons are great & my boyfriend loved the egg rolls. We ordered... Kung Pao Chicken: typically not a fan but they have great sauce and there is nothing better than bitting into actual chicken peices & a great variety of veggies in it too Sizzling Beef Short Ribs: Served on a hot sizzling plate with a great savory sauce. Hot Spicy Shrimp:My faaaaavorite. Shrimp with a spicy pepper sauce, chopped green beans& onions. I will probably add some red bell pepper next time. Szechuan Beef: was the only negative thing about this place. I was hoping the beef would be a little crispy but is was more of a rubber texture and the sauce wasn't my favorite.
