Tangram is relatively new two story mall with quite a few Asian stores and restaurants in it. There is a huge arcade on the second level that will thrill the kids, teens and probably a few adults. A good selection in the food court of mostly Asian and a Mexican spot. Restrooms on both floors. An elevator and escalator, although the downward portion was out of order. There's even swim lessons and small pool too. read more

From March 14 to April 5, 2026, there will be a MINISO x Hello Kitty and Friends Pop-Up located at Tangram Mall in Flushing, NY. I visited the pop-up on Saturday, March 21st about 12:15pm and on Monday, March 23rd about 8:30pm. Both times there wasn't a line to enter. The pop-up isn't very big, but it does feature over 500 Sanrio products, including exclusive plushies, blind boxes, stationery, and snacks. I purchased a Hello Kitty and Friends Latte Bear Fitness Figure Blind Box ($17.99), Hello Kitty and Friends Chill Capybara Vinyl Plush Figure Blind Box ($29.99), and a pack of stickers ($1.99). Miniso Members can get a complimentary event tote with a $65+ purchase, but there were signs that the tote were sold out. My friend chose a TOPTOY Sanrio Characters Fantasy Fairy Tale Blind Box ($24.99). Lady M Pop-Up at Tangram was also back! I picked up a slice of Green Tea Mousse Cake ($10) and Checkers ($11.50). I really enjoy the Green Tea Mousse Cake which is a delicate green tea sponge cake with a green tea mousse, fresh whipped cream, and dusting of green tea cake crumbs. Checkers cake weaves together a precise and tender checkerboard of classic and chocolate sponge cake. You can never go wrong with anything at Lady M. Been here many times over the years, but a true blessing it was to have Tangram with the winter storm. Choices of wonderful restaurants and their diverse food court. A movie theater and many clothing and gift stores. A plus also of their family-friendly atmosphere with a great baby store and indoor play place within. Very well managed and clean. How have I not reviewed Tangram yet? Not only do I love taking Bubs and Hubs here, I love taking out of towners here too! It's a great place to take a respite from the hustle and bustle of Main and Prince St. You can shopc eat, play, get pampered, see a movie, it literally has everything. And since I've been here, it has so much more to offer and I feel like there are more ways for this mall to evolve. The food court has some of my fav spots as well, although it looks like the angry birds spot may not be lasting. While that space not have been there that long, this mall is awesome for kids and has a swim school, multiple children clothing stores and don't get me started on the arcade. That's just the beginning. They have programming throughout the year geared towards kids as well. read more

A few updates since my last walk around at Tangram: - Kokoro Cat Cafe opened about 8 months ago, seems to be a pretty popular spot and only one of a couple cat cafes in the city. It's $20 for 40 minutes of time with their cats, all of which are available for adoption since they partner with a local cat rescue. - walking in from the south entrance, there's a kids game set up past the main atrium closer to the west entrance. A rectangular, slightly raised platform lights up with different tile colors Iand it looked like goal is to step on certain colors to get points. - Tokimo beauty and fragrance store opened up right inside the west entrance past 85 Degrees C Bakery. They carry makeup, skincare, accessories, perfume and room sprays. - OS Society might've been around previously but I hadn't had a chance to walk in until a couple weeks ago. They carry trendy unisex lounge wear/sports wear, sew-on patches, accessories and plushies. They also have what looks like a special customization machine that sews patches to apparel and accessories. read more

Dare I say this is the nicest mall in Flushing? It is not just new and shiny, but has the substance to back it up. There are so many amazing eateries here. We got to watch a through the window at Tai-Er create their signature "Sauerkraut Fish" dish. We got to go to the arcade and watch epic battles in different games. I am convinced we saw pros play. ROYCE" was there with their unbelievable chocolate. There were also clothing shops galore, unique gifts, and just so much. The mall is clean, well organized with a nice layout, vibrant without being overly crowded, and just beautiful. read more

This mall is pretty new looking and got a handicapped rail for my daughter's stroller so that is a plus. Got elevators, escalators beside stairs inside the mall. It has 2 levels only. Bathrooms kind of suck because the times I went to this mall, they got no soap in any of the dispensers or they never restocked the soap. There are many pricey sit down restaurants on the second floor along with a small open food court. I could not find any cheap eats at all in this mall. The mall mostly has blind box shops like Gatcha, AKIRA, Miniso, and Pop Mart. These are nice shops to go window shopping and getting blind boxes when good ones are available. There's a long line to Pop Mart on the second floor. This mall also has a Regal movie theater, which is pretty nice so you can catch a movie. There is barely any clothing stores in this mall. Mostly eateries and toy stores. During holidays, you can catch seasonal activities in the big center space on the first floor like how there was recently a pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins this Halloween. read more

Cool mall right in the mix off of College Point Blvd and Northern and Prince. I believe there are a few entrances but the parking entrance is off of College Point. It's decent sized lot but it was pretty full on a Sunday. There are elevators or stairs to get you back to street level. The mall is decent sized with plenty of stores to shop and eat. Theres a cat cafe and arcade and plenty more. read more

Wow, I never knew there was a mall here before. I also didnt know there was a regal here either, I need to get out more. There's so many stores here that it did feel overwhelming. There's a lot of different stores here. I loved the fact there is a cat cafe here. The only thing I didn't like was that there was a lot of people coughing without covering their mouths here. When you think your done walking around thr mall theres another store for you to check out. The food court is amazing with different foods. There were some pop ups going on at this location as well. We checked out the Lady M pop up. We got free samples from Royce chocolate, there's alcohol in them! I appreciated that, lol. I suggest coming here on the weekday and not the weekend. On sunday everyone and their mother were here. I found it wild there was a swimming pool in the middle of the mall, I never seen something like that. Been to Tangram numerous times and each time I revisit there are more eateries and shops. So happy to see more establishments here. Contemporary design here at the mall. It's clean, sleek and stylish. There is a stage at the center where community activities are held. Area where you can sit/stand and take selfies with different floral backgrounds. Chairs and tables on first floor and second floors to take break after shopping and dining. Food court located upstairs. Just take the escalators. Bathrooms right by entrance to the food hall. There are also restaurants and eateries outside of the food hall. Even a movie theater in the complex at Tangram. Will be back again for more shopping and dining. read more

Tangram mall was finished in 2022. It's a beautiful mall in Flushing Queens that offers much for your desire. They have shopping, restaurants, a movie theatre a gym, and so much more. The movie theater is offering $1 movies at first show times on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 6/10/2925 - 8/6/2025. There is a huge parking garage that offers EV charging. It's starting to look like a real mall after all the new stores opened! Previously when I visited there were few stores and quite boring to visit. This time they opened up a bunch of new stores: cat cafe, 3-4 clothing stores, and even more restaurants / food spots. It can be quite crowded especially on weekends and holidays. Didn't end up dining in tangram this time but with all the new restaurants opened, would be nice to try some of them. There's also a new bakery that opened 85 C that had nice variety and good prices. read more

Great mall. Lots of shops. Clean and spacious. We went a while ago, to try out the food hall. Some good spots and some are a little "meh". I can see it as a good weekend chill spot for parents and couples. There are so many cute shops here, like miniso and there's an anime store near by as well. Boba tea shop, matcha ice cream, and more to come. I think Tangram also has celebration and events here that draws families which they blast on their social. So stop by and enjoy! read more

This mall is family friendly and offers a lot from homework and swimming lessons to gift shopping and a movie theater ... Stores are welcoming and wish they had more ... Food hall is small but got some interesting food stalls my go tops are money bags and the icecream shop ( forgot the name ) It's all nice and clean and accessible for strollers and handicap with elevators Only complaint is the bathroom I used the bathroom on the first floor and no door had a lock for the door to stay closed and each seat was dirty .. for the amount of money put into this mall there should be a better upkeep read more

Personally I think this is a pretty decent mall located in the heart of Flushing- it has a parking lot, movie theater and a food hall with various eateries as well as 7-8 restaurants throughout. I take my daughter & her friend here every month- they love going to Pop Mart, Gatcha Arcade, Akiba House, Miniso and OS Society (lots of Pop Mart products/ blind boxes). There's also Potobox (photo kiosk), Kokoro Cat Café and Chip City (cookies). The restaurants we've tried were okay, I just want desserts and drinks- I love the 85°C Bakery (pastries), Na Tart (Portuguese egg tarts), Café Maiko (matcha latte & ice cream) and recently got to try Malaysian treats from Sally's (kiosk). A big mall underground with food court and a theater, the condos above, and a parking garage below (tight parking sometimes). Vomit and spilled food at various points just walking in the mall area, though, they need folks doing a bit more cleaning. They had a nice display in the center, and a stairway upstairs (as well as escalators and elevator). Parking a little more expensive than the surrounding and says valet, but sometimes people park without that help. This replaced the Flushing Mall, which I miss that food court (best shaved ice stall and a number of other choices... though it's nice to have more parking). read more

Parking is available - paid $10 for 2 1/2 hrs on a weekend. If it wasn't cold and already evening time, would have taken the 7 train to Main St then walked. Some buses nearby too. A lot of families and teens/young adult groups that evening. It's not a large mall but since we last went there, more eateries/businesses have opened up (and some more opening in the future). Many food options, not the usual but better compared to other malls I think. This visit we went to Gatcha Clawcade - an arcade/store/claw game place; and Thaihee where I got my snack from. Also combo meals at Cruncheese - Korean hotdogs, and Coocoocachoo - chicken sandwich. Regal theater is in this mall too. Restrooms located on each floor. Pay station for parking wasn't easy to find (coming from the elevators near the food hall) so had to ask an employee. Would be helpful if there were multiple ones, with signage. read more

An amazing Asian mall, truly. Everything you want from food to shopping that is Asian! If you have cravings for Asian food, search no more. The upper level has a whole food court that has over 20 stalls of food from desserts to snacks, boba milk teas and meals. It feels like a night market vibe. Tangram is undoubtedly part of the new Flushing, which has been perpetually under construction for the better part of the last decade. Despite this ambitious project lasting several years and a pandemic, they managed to modernize the neighborhood and capitalize on the subsequent gentrification. Ultimately, it has become one of the crowning retail jewels in all of NYC. Tangram has a little bit of everything for everyone: an enormous amount of space, stores galore, high rise condos, countless events, abundant food options, a swimming school, office spaces and even a theater. I've heard that it's not even officially done yet, with plans to launch a hotel and additional luxury residential spaces. It's only a couple of years old at this point, but time will tell how it'll hold up given the volume of people coming through. NYC has a tendency to churn up places real quick, so I hope massive upkeep in maintenance isn't going to be too much for the building. The only lowlights for me at the moment is the small'ish food court and the super expensive parking for retail guests. Right now the various events happening at Hoi Polloi (#2) and the atrium of the mall are keeping things interesting. Additionally, I appreciate the full fledged restaurant options and hope there is more on the horizon. When the Tangram mall first opened, I was told it was THE place to go for my next Flushing trip. I did indeed go for a day trip and I wasn't too amused by it. It has two floors, the second floor is where their food hall is with Matcha Maiko and a bunch of other Asian food stalls. They also have a hotpot restaurant here which is pretty nice. The Tangram isn't a shopping mall, so you won't find retail clothing shops here. They've got an optical store to buy glasses and miniso. That's really about it. They also have a Goldfish swim school, Orangetheory, & a movie theater. I've gone a couple times now and think I will be skipping this on my future visits to Flushing, Queens. read more

Flushing is always an adventure. After Hot Pot, we needed to walk. So many unique shops, restaurants and cafes here, plus the movie theater. Not the biggest mall but plenty to see, do & buy. Especially now with the central courtyard holiday market and the pop-up in the back of the food court. Escalators weren't all working, but aside from that this is a pretty neat mall. read more

What a fun spot to hang out with friends and eat in the food court. A nice variety of different Asian foods throughout the mall, but also an arcade with fun games, and Asian stores. Parking was easy, we paid $7 for about 1.5 hours of parking. Many entrances into the building and it opens late. There is even a cat cafe! Only suggestion would be that somewhere in the food court there is a water station with utensils and napkins for individuals to have if they need more. read more

We drove into Flushing on this recent spring break roadtrip and made our way to this mall to eat Peking Duck. Parking was $7 for 3 hours. Convenient and easy to get into mall and have our dinner. Lots of other Chinese eateries inside. read more

It's very pretty...BUT....only like 4 clothing stores (baby, teen anime hoodies, and 2 adult) the rest of the "mall" is basically a food court and restaurants with about 3 Japanese toy shops...a baby "funzone" and a swim school for kids.... This is a cute little mall in Flushing! I came here several times during my time in town for the AIR CONDITIONING! In the summer, this was truly a safe haven. The food court is very modern and yes, many of the businesses still prefer cash. Some offerings are: banh mi, Thai food, egg tarts, AND an Angry Birds cafe! The food is pretty unique and fun to explore. The mall itself also has 4 boba shops! Talk about variety. There's fun events they host here like Big Apple Comic Con, MOCANYC Exhibits, etc. They have a movie theater, swim school, and some retail - but mostly restaurants! read more
