We had first stopped at another orthotics shoe store that didn't carry any rockers. My son then remembered Eneslow, where my niece had previously purchased her shoes and was extremely happy with them. She actually wore her new pair when we went back, which says it all! When we arrived, we were fortunate to meet Raul again. He had helped my niece before, and once again he was so patient, helpful, and friendly. He really knows his products and immediately understood the type of rocker shoe I was looking for. He took his time with us, answered all our questions, and made sure I felt comfortable with the choices. Raul was just as attentive and helpful with my niece as well, which we truly appreciated. To make the day even more special, my son surprised me by buying two pairs for Valentine's Day. It was truly such a thoughtful Valentine's surprise and very much needed! I absolutely love my shoes. She then came back to the register and refused to make eye contact. Really? The courteous thing to do would approach the door and just say "I'm sorry, we are closed." Extremely disappointing experience with The RealReal, terrible customer service…read more I've had an incredibly frustrating experience selling with The RealReal, and the lack of communication and customer service has been unacceptable. * I never received the email confirmation that I was told I would receive. * I couldn't see the listing on the app and had no clear way of knowing what was happening with my items. * We almost missed out on the $200 promotional credit we were supposed to receive. The credit was never added to the account until I specifically asked about it. If I hadn't followed up, we likely would have lost out on the promotion. * I spoke with Tatiana, and she was extremely unhelpful and had a major attitude. She refused to assist me because I wasn't calling from my girlfriend's phone and seemed completely unwilling to actually help resolve the issue. I eventually had to speak with someone else before I could get assistance. * I received a check for only $4.60 for an $85.50 pair of Yeezys. I was never clearly informed that I would receive only around 20% of the sale price. * I was transferred 10 times and had to repeatedly explain my situation to different people. Nobody seemed willing to take ownership of the problem. * The only positive customer service experience I had was with Julian, who actually took the time to listen and help me. Overall, this has been a terrible experience from beginning to end. The communication is poor, the promotional credit was not properly applied, the payout was extremely disappointing, and getting basic customer service required multiple calls and transfers. Julian was the one exception and deserves recognition for actually helping. Unfortunately, one helpful employee does not make up for the overall experience. I would not recommend The RealReal to anyone looking to sell their items.
