By the cash registers, there is a balloon cage of balloons already prefilled. I told the cashier I would like 2 balloons. The balloons were $1.50 each. She unclipped all of them and let me choose which ones I wanted. I chose a balloon with a smiley face and one that saids Happy Birthday with stars. I also wanted to purchase a gift card, but the cashier told me it was cash only so I said never mind since I didn't have cash on me. Items are now $1.25, but you can still get some basic staples here for decorations, loot bag fillers, stationary, small snacks and last minute health & beauty items. It's a dollar tree, so keep your expectations and check. Sometimes you can find a good deal, especially if you're looking for cheap seasonal decorations. There is Pepperidge Farms bread in the back for $1.25, but check the best by dates. Small charge if you don't have a bag with you, so remember to bring your reusable bags. No longer a $1, if you had to reflect the price change with the name they would be called "Dollar 25 tree" I get it, prices in general have skyrocketed! Your dollar doesn't buy you much of anything these days. Nonetheless, you still get a pretty good deal. Where else can you find a little of everything from food items, hardware and cleaning supplies, refrigerated goods, houseware, arts and crafts. This location is well stocked and the staff here very helpful and friendly. There is metered parking on the streets. They do not have a parking lot. Everything in the store is actually the same price - all of it !! ($1.25) it's not one of those stores where items are four dollars and seven dollars and twenty dollars. I literally decorated my entire front lawn for Halloween from the dollar tree and every decoration was $1.25 from tombstones to skeleton skulls to really cool signs. A lot of the stuff is pretty decent. I'm just happy to finally find a dollar store that everything is a dollar well $1.25 and I don't have to ask how much is this that and that. They even have inflated helium balloons For birthdays! I went to a dollar store about 10 minutes away before I found this one and the balloons were freaking $3.50 like what!? This is a very interesting place. Parking is very difficult during the daytime. I had to park two blocks away, but the value is very good because you get items at dollar trees do not have seems there's a very big turnover of everything they have so a lot of times the supplies are in the isles, ready to be unloaded and put on the shelves, it's very nice. It's clean the cashiers will help you always somebody running around with a green shirt so you can ask them frozen section is in the back. Good amount of sodas snacks serve wonderful kitchen ware accessories have a whole area plates to is also in the entranceway specials, so come and see and you will be happy. Enjoy the trip. This Dollar Tree is a large discount store where everything is literally 1 dollar plus tax. They have a huge selection of random items and an area near the front for seasonal items. I find that this dollar tree is best for photo frames, soft and hardcover books, candy, artificial flowers, gift wrap, and organization storage bins. The shelves are not always stocked and there are plenty of unopened boxes of shipment in the aisles. This location is not the best for party supplies because they are out of stock for many items if you need it in multiples. The balloon selection is also very small and they do not blow up balloons that you want to buy; only the ones already blown up are for sale. Those balloons are smaller than regular balloons and tend to deflate faster. read more

This particular Dollar Tree has more snacks than many of the other Dollar Tree that I have been to. Snacks- Potato Chips, Cookies and Candies. Definitely, this is the place to go to for sweets. Aisles are more organized and not like after a raid like a snow emergency. Shelves are stocked with ample supplies. It's just pleasant shopping here. Lots more merchandise available. Yes, there will be cases stacked up but you can still get by compared to some of the other Dollar Tree stores. There is a parking lot as well as parking meters in front of the store. read more

12/23/24 I had a nice shopping experience the cashier was pleasant and she had a packer packing the bags. That's why I gave one star. They were Very busy because of the holiday. I left one of my bags with the receipt in it called the store multiple times and no answer. I returned the next day 12/24/24 830am to retrieve my bag. I saw the same cashier.. what got me was they know someone left their bag and they still put the stuff back. The supervisor I'm guessing told me it's my responsibility to make sure I take my bag, "not theirs" when you have two workers helping me.. not one said Ms you left your bag. She questioning me like I stole something, and made comments it's your responsibility not ours and we don't hold packages because people don't come back and we don't have no where to hold it. Her tone and body language was very unprofessional. I paid for it receipt was in the bag and you put it. Then got rude with me. I will never shop here again. read more

They have a parking lot!!!! Don't go crazy trying to find parking on the street. The entrance is right by the bus stop. Didn't find out until another customer mentioned it.... I can honestly say that I'm impressed with this Dollar Tree. Everything is stocked up and they have pretty good stuff here compared to the other stores. Since I'm always ruining my slotted spoons and spatulas, I decided to just buy them here. If you look, you'll always find something useful. I have been going to this DOllar Tree for 2/1/2 years now without a problem, but today, SEpt. 17, 2024, I asked an employee who was near the card aisle if there were birthday cards for nephews. She completely ignored me and walked past me. I found the card, and as she was walking past me again. I told her I found the card myself, and she sarcastically said, I thought you would," as she walked away. A little while later, I walked down the first side aisle where there was magazines; decor; etc. There was no worker in the aisle and there were empty boxes pushed to one side. I bumped into the boxes. 2 fell down. And I immediately picked them up. Out of nowhere, came this very tall angry worker yelling at me that I should not have walked down that aisle since there are boxes there. There were boxes in almost every aisle of the store and there was plenty of room in that aisle. She continued to be loud and said I should not have walked down the aisle since I did not buy anything in the aisle. I am sorry, but the way the both of them acted towards me for no reason, I feel it is because I am a white older woman. I feel they were both racist towards me and were looking to start an argument. Finally stopped by the Grand Opening of the Dollar Tree in my neighborhood! You can find from home to kitchen to edible food. Its a huge store and there are a lot of aisles to browse through. The shelves are fully stock with the products and saw actual sales people on the floor constantly emptying the inventory onto the floor. Definitely a good store to have in my neighborhood! read more

After going to the Dollar Tree in Glendale on Metropolitan Ave, my uncle said the one on Franny Lew is better and more organized and he was right. Parking here was a lot easier than Glendale. Aisles were a lot more organized but I couldn't help but noticed many food items opened and eaten by cheapskate customers. I saw one person who was drinking the energy drink and disposed of it on a different aisle. I bought some snacks and noticed the packaging may look the same as others sold in larger retail stores but the quantity is far less. I bought Haribo gummy bears, packaging size looks identical to the one I normally buy from CVS but the amount of gummy bears inside were way fewer! read more

Bought stuff here, ordered stuff and witness various incidents. Still, the manager was always very cordial, accommodating and very on top of matters. Meanwhile, the selections are not as vast, which is fine. The overall atmosphere is fine. There are larger ones in Long Island, but for a neighborhood store, this is fine for its basic needs. I went there to buy some graduation balloons for my daughter. When I selected some of the balloons, majority of the ones I wanted were sold out. The ones that were sold out had an orange sticker on them. Okay, so I started to select the ones without the orange stickers. The cashier name Sofie, opened the drawers and said those were sold out too. I was getting rather annoyed because I had no selection to select from and the cashier was rather rude and condescending. So I decided to choose another balloon but she proceeds to give the last ones of those to another customer. I stopped her and said, no I chose one of those. She said no you didn't. And she started saying that I chose a different one. I could have made a huge scene but I decided that today was my daughter's graduation and I am not going to let miserable people ruin my day. I really think the cashier had something against me for some reason. Other than that, great selection of books and stationeries. I will continue to come here to buy those for work. However, terrible customer service and best if you make reservations for the balloons before hand. I decided to go to party city for the balloons. Definitely more pricey but more selections that are actually available and less stress buying them read more

I love dollar tree stores - best bang for your buck. Thanks to previous Yelp reviews, we easily found the parking lot right before the bus stop. It's a much cleaner and better organized Dollar Tree than other locations I've been to. I noticed they didn't carry all the items I needed, as I was able to get from the one near Long Island City. Overall, fairly easy to find things, good deals, lots of different party items to kitchen supplies. The best is that it really is $1 each! Awesome. read more

This is the most organized dollar tree I've seen. Stop by for some last minute candy shopping for a party. The cashier was really nice even though it was 30 min before closing. Most workers were depleted mid days. She even mention the Christmas candy was only 25 cent for a whole pack!!!. Great worker. read more

So I finally got myself to the new Dollar Tree that opened shop in my hood and I can't believe I let myself overspend on items I bought regularly for the past couple of months! Being as (secretly) frugal as I am, that was an epic failure on my end. Seriously, my bad. We needed this, with CVS and Waldbaums around the corner both double tag-teaming against our wallets, this Dollar Tree is a saving grace. To be honest, I was a bit apprehensive about entering this store when I first saw it a couple of months ago because I thought it was a little out of place for the area. Without even entering the store, I assumed it would be full of $1 junk knickknacks, but boy was I wrong. Upon entering, my eyes immediately gazed upon their fully stocked valentine selection and it dawn on me, "holy sh!t, this is stuff that I can actually use!" Waldbaums was charging over $5 for the same bag of v-day candy that was for sale here at $1! That's when I started feeling giddy. I eagerly strolled up and down their isles, slowly, methodically, taking mental note of their inventory and calculating how much I've been over paying for items like air freshener, dog collars, cotton balls, toiletry, grocery items and so much more that I'm simply too lazy to spell out. I just can't believe how much variety of things they had in stock, and judging by the first reviewer's pictures, it looks like their goods selection vary making every trip all the more exciting. I can easily see this place being my next favorite store. I'm just so glad they opened up here. read more

What's not to love about Dollar Tree? And now that it's in our neighborhood, you can bet we'll be hitting it up often for 4/$1 bagels, $1 Christmas decorations, $1 storage bins, bubbles, crayons, chips, socks and whatever "good" junk we need (or didn't know we needed). It fills a void in the area, so I'm grateful to have a new place to idly browse and kill time whenever the mood strikes. On opening day, the shelves were stocked, aisles crowded, and cashiers busy. Some things are worth buying but I usually don't buy a lot other than some candy or when I need to quickly grab a pain killer.

There is a parking area *before* the store, just after the gas station. It's small and narrow and has several puddles and the surface is terrible. Part of it belongs to other shops nearby. Still, to find spot is a gift. The dollar store itself is okay. You get what you pay for. Still, there are nuggets to be found among the cheap stuff. Worth a loik. read more

I have been shopping here ever since the grand opening. It was great the first year but now not so much. The stock has been really low or even none this year. The last 3 trips here the employee are rude and never say hello or thank you at check out. Is like they just look past you. Also, big disappointment in the Halloween selection this year. I would give negative stars if yelp allowed, do not expect any sort of customer service from these stores. They do not and would not help customers check whether a particular product is in stock, instead they blame it on the "system", which only they will know what this "system" is to begin with. If you are expecting to buy a product and happen to be shopping in these stores, go ahead with the bargain; however, if they run out of stock, do not expect any sort of timeline from them for when the product will be in stock, we end up going to a local 99 cent store instead of dealing with them. read more
