They have more than 20 people working for this building. They have private gym, spa, tv room, conference room, pool ... You name it they have it. So many activities around the year. The gym also features a dedicated wine cellar and game rooms with a pool table and ping pong tables. The Pinnacle's apartments are spacious, with plenty of windows for a view of Queens Boulevard or 75th Avenue. It's a quiet building, with residents of all ages and nationalities. Sylvan has a garage attached to the building and residents can call for their car using the intercom system in each apartment. The Pinnacle is staffed by wonderful, helpful people who take pride in their jobs and workplace- from the concierge and doormen to the porters and garage valets. They help make living in this building a true pleasure.

Listen,I'm not sure if this is petty, but my car and the ones parked next to me was covered in sand dust rocks tree leaves, it was very very upsetting, and I took a video, those guys didn't even care, didn't even off to blow off my car. IE: if you're looking to buy a unit that's out of date, or needs a bit of love, and you offer accordingly, the board will deny you. The board WILL expect 1bd/1ba fully renovated to go for the same price as a 1bd/1ba that needs a gut reno. After chatting with friends in the building, it doesn't sound like the board has a great relationship with its shareholders, and there's an unfortunate disconnect. There are so many fantastic buildings in the area. Avoid this one if you want to stay sane.

Smelly Roach Palace…read more Prior to moving in we were repeatedly told how lucky we were to move into such a prestigious building. After moving in, it's clear that prestige died out in the middle of sometime last century and nobody got the memo. I've never had roaches in my life. Upon moving in, we have roaches galore. We're constantly finding them in all rooms of our apartment and all over the hallways of the building. It's absolutely revolting. They're everywhere! The basement absolutely reeks of garbage all summer long, every day I want to exit through the side instead of the front, I have to hold my nose as I walk to the door it's so bad. The water is constantly being shut off due to building plumbing issues. There was recently an incident where the building didn't have water for 3 straight days, we had to rent a hotel room to use the bathroom and shower. No updates were given on the progress the entire time, just that they were "working on it". The building staircases and hallways are poorly labeled, so when you have food delivered or have company come over, it's really a 50/50 shot on whether or not they're actually able to find your apartment. The building doesn't have any modern amenities like a key fob to enter the side doors or washers and dryers linked to an app so you can see what is/isn't in use. Most buildings I've lived in the past 15 years have had these technologies. I feel deeply misled by the realtors and by the board. This building has been greatly misrepresented and I regret purchasing a co-op here. I cannot wait to leave.

Having a doorman is key. The high ceilings make this building wonderful to live in. I am on the 10th floor and have been in two different apartments. The countertops are tall which works well for taller people. It is a block from the Mineola train station which makes it so simple to go into nyc. Overall I recommend living in this building. I love it. I feel safe.

I was a perfect tenant; paid rent on time every month and left the apartment in pristine condition when I left (got the full security deposit back). After leaving I asked for a letter of recommendation for the new building I'm applying to live in (out of state). Kathleen was nasty for no reason and refused to give me anything, claiming it was no longer company policy to give letters of recommendation. This would be understandable except for the fact that they literally require letters from other landlords for tenants applying to live in their building. Extremely hypocritical and selfish.

My Fiancé and I relocated from South Florida to Long Island on December 2017. The surrounding area is safe and there are lots of restaurants in walking distance. There are parks in all directions which are quiet and peaceful. Public transportation is also close by. The common areas come equipped with a pool table, gym and BBQ in the center of the building. The outdoor space is great for sunbathing and entertaining. I rarely see these areas in use and we can enjoy them to ourselves most of the time. Our car is garage-kept which is great to keep it out of the rain, snow and elements. The garbage is also indoors so no need to go outside. The neighbors are very friendly and greet you. It is a nice community. Pat was great accommodating our schedule and showing us around the unit and common areas. Our 1/1 unit is spacious with an open floor plan. The stainless steel appliances are modern and the kitchen has tons of cabinet and counter space. We were fortunate enough to secure a unit with a large 400 sq ft patio and a chic pergola. We have ample room for our couches and dining set. The walk-in closet has ample space and the bedroom is large enough for dressers and a California king size bed. We see Adrian the most around the property keeping things in order. He's very friendly and caring, always greeting us and our 5 lbs Yorkie, Rolo. In the past 7 months, we have only needed maintenance once and Keith came to the rescue immediately.
