All I got from them was sorry I am booked at that time. No alternate time or anything. If leasing office doesn't care about new prospects then how little would they care about existing tenants.

For example, residents have received automated notices about "outstanding balances" even when accounts are already paid in full. Instead of proactive correction or clear communication, tenants are left to sort out the confusion themselves. Some leasing agents are also trained to provide vague or non-committal responses, which makes it difficult to get direct answers on policies, fees, or concerns. Non-compliance fees have been charged without transparent explanation, and it often feels like residents are expected to just accept charges without clarity. There are also recurring accountability issues. Items like large water jugs or dollies get left in hallways, and instead of identifying the correct unit responsible, management has previously blamed the wrong residents. The same issue happens in the garage, where some people use spaces as storage, yet warnings do not always go to the correct tenants. This blanket approach to enforcement is frustrating and feels careless. Additionally, the leasing office environment is not welcoming. Privacy tints and curtains have been installed on the interior glass, creating an atmosphere that feels closed-off rather than community-oriented or approachable. The building itself is fine, and the location has benefits, but the management's lack of transparency, accountability, and consistent communication significantly affects the overall living experience. As an example: the jacuzzi worked the first weekend of the summer before breaking for 4 weeks. And two weeks before Labor Day it broke down again. Garage door seems to break every other day. What's more, the "theater" is a joke. I don't know anyone who's ever used it. I tried once, but there's some sort of proprietary software so about the only thing you can do is insert a dvd. Forget hooking anything up to it. It's pretty useless. Giving 1 star for those staff members that are very friendly and helpful. I will say, they make it almost tolerable. It's really the management company that is the problem. We will not be renewing.

I received a lease renewal of over 18%, which I found absolutely insane not only due to the length of my tenancy, but to the fact that this increase was not, in any way, justifiable by current market trends. However, thanks to the help of Samantha, she was able to present me with a much lower renewal that was more realistic. I was ecstatic because Samantha was able to keep me in my budget so I can continue living in my home where so many beautiful memories and accomplishments have been made. Since I've been here for so long, I've seen MANY managers come and go, and Samantha has by far been the most helpful, most genuine, and most caring. However, Lordis MUST be held accountable for her consistent malicious actions and disgusting commentary. I had to write this review anonymously due to Lordis's proven track record of making any resident's living experience so miserable to the point where they are forced to move out if that resident speaks up on her behavior, and I refuse to allow her to do the same to me and my family. As I was waiting for the elevator after leaving the office to discuss my renewal (the elevator is right next to the office, by the way), I overheard Lordis say "Sam! Did they renew?" Samantha responded "yeah, I got them a better renewal offer." Lordis then responded (and I remember word for word because I was in such disbelief), "those kind of people are always looking for discounts but want to walk around thinking they're royalty like they don't stink up the whole hallway!" (For reference, I am from India and my husband is from Pakistan). There was a brief moment of silence, assuming everyone else in the office was in the same disbelief, then she continued while laughing and said "it's true! Right, Patrick? Tell me when you walk past any of those Indian apartments it doesn't stink!? Nobody wants to smell that curry all day. We could've let them give notice, sorry Sam." I pulled my phone out to begin recording, but the statements ended there since it was clear that Samantha and Patrick was not entertaining her foolishness. This was extremely hurtful and heartbreaking because I was so excited to go upstairs and let my husband know that we can renew our lease for our home that we loved SO much. But, within just 10-15 seconds, that excitement was shattered. My husband and I have given our notice to move out. How could we possibly continue to live in a place where with such a disgusting, evil, and malicious manager? 9 years. We're letting go of our home for the past 9 years. It would've been a MUCH better staffing decision by Windsor if Samantha was hired as the main manager, but instead, they decided to hire a monster. Going through previous reviews, I see there is someone from Windsor that responds. So I would like to state, since this will clearly be seen by someone higher, that my husband and I do not wish to rectify, speak about, or meet with ANYONE regarding this review as we would like to enjoy our last two months living here without being exposed to Lordis malicious and retaliatory behavior. However, just a word of advice, get rid of that monster before she causes this property to lose more residents and before she runs your business through the mud. As a resident, we always only see Samantha and/or Patrick running around and doing all of the work anyway, so there is clearly not a need for her. To anyone looking to potentially live here, it's a great property in a beautiful neighborhood. Samantha is a wonderful resident manager and Patrick is a sweet kid. But, if you come tour, ask of Lordis is still the manager. If the answer is yes....RUN!!! Do not move here until this monster is replaced.

I have rented in the NYC area for 10 years and have never experienced a worse property management…read moreteam or company. Steer clear of Windsor Communities at any cost. Do not rent here if you have even one other option. The building management company at Windsor at Liberty house is unresponsive, impossible to reach, and deeply apathetic towards the people who live in the building. When there is an issue, they are not present, available, or helpful, regardless of the severity of the situation. For emergencies, they will route you to the maintenance team, the leasing office, or a call center. There is no direct email address or phone number to contact Windsor Communities or the management team for 100 Dudley Street. In the event you do make contact with them, they will not help, or assist you in addressing whatever issue may have arisen. The "management" provided by Windsor Communities is either (A) non-existent, or (B) actively harmful. A short list of issues we encountered in our 1 year tenure in this building: (1) the fire alarms are repeatedly faulty (usually going off late at night); (2) the parking garage in the south building does not reliably shut/lock, and is constantly breaking down, risking vehicle theft and damage; (3) several of the key elevators used by residents are regularly broken/out of use for maintenance; (4) there is no secure package system. Packages are routinely left outside the building, inside the front entrance, in the common area at the 100 Dudley entrance, or otherwise unsecured; (5) the management team has routinely completely disregarded communications regarding ordinary course payment disputes; (6) we were charged amenity fees for a gym that was largely unavailable; (7) we were also routine double-charged and erroneously charged for parking; and (8) even though we were only here for one year, we had multiple significant appliances break and need whole-sale replacing (fridge/freezer and dishwasher). To be clear: some of the apartments themselves are nice, and the building maintenance staff are fast and responsive for true maintenance issues. Even the leasing office personnel try to be helpful (though candidly, they are rarely ever physically present or available by phone). However, none of that even slightly compensates for the complete failures of Windsor Communities to properly manage this building and attend to the welfare of its residents. Do. Not. Rent. Here.

I've been renting in the Aldyn for the last 4 months, and have had a solid experience so far…read more The leasing process (touring the building and applying for the apartment) was very smooth, and Dyanna (the leasing manager) was very communicative. We were approved shortly after submitting the application ($1000 deposit to take the apartment off the market, which is applied to your first month's rent, plus a $20 application fee per person). The building is really nice - my apartment is in a separate elevator bay than most of the apartments, so it's a quieter area of the building, which I appreciate. I haven't had many issues to report - the only major one being that the washer stopped working at one point, and it took a few weeks for them to get a replacement. Otherwise, I've been happy with the apartment - appliances, A/C, etc. have all been satisfactory. There are some minor design choices in the unit that don't make much sense to me - for instance, the bathroom sink basin is flat on the bottom, rather than sloped with the drain at the lowest point, so the water doesn't always want to fully drain, and the medicine cabinet has sliding panels arranged in such a way that it blocks part of the cabinet (so it's wasted space), plus the shelves are so close to each other that you can't fit so much as a pill bottle in it. But, these are pretty minor complaints in an otherwise nice apartment. Would definitely recommend leasing at the Aldyn, especially if you can get a good price/some new lease incentives!

Potential to be a great building, apart from the diluted management and poor construction quality…read more Plenty of good things here: great room layouts, some of the best on Riverside Blvd; incredible front of house and back of house staff, very friendly and helpful; comfortable courtyard, fun for kids - overall a great building for kids; and the gym of course. On to the not-so-good. Next to the gym there are some propped-open fire doors, which could be deadly in case of even a minor fire (due to smoke penetration). Contacted management about this, no action yet. Could be because the building is owned by five different entities and managed by two more - condo and rental units are owned and managed separately. The bathrooms and kitchens, designed by Roman & Williams, are wonderful, but they apparently broke the bank so much that costs were shaved during construction, resulting in some jaw-droppers. The wall studs are 24" on center, making expensive reinforcement for wall-hung anything (shelves, TVs) necessary. The ceilings are wavy. The bathroom ceilings crumble when you change a light bulb. The walls are cheaply skim-coated (not painted) and crumble easily. The duct work is arranged such that when anyone smokes tobacco or weed in their unit above or below you (and this happens A LOT) it will enter your apartment. Speaking of ducts, the in-unit dryers are ductless and work about as well as you'd expect. The in-wall A/C units malfunction easily, and repairs can run into the thousands of dollars. Some of these "features" are normal for new construction circa 2008, but here they add up quickly. Bottom line is, the Aldyn is nice for renters if you can get a good deal (I do not know whether it is better to rent from an owner on the condo side or to rent on the rental side), but if you want to buy here you should be prepared to spend some real money on renovations and repairs.

First, they only assign 1 reserved parking space for a 2-BR apartment and for the even # buildings, the lot is behind the buildings and the driveway to come out to the street is hidden. Cars are parked along the street so you can't see when you try to pull out (causing accidents). If you park on the street you have to pay $400/year to the city for overnight parking. If I'd had more time to look into these things I would not have moved to this complex.

They always let me know what the problem was, and when to expect a fix if extended service was needed. The grounds were always well kept - especially when it snowed. The crew was out there first thing in the morning and several times during the storm plowing/shoveling. The management company was also very friendly and very professional - they always called to ask my permission to enter the apartment, and was always prompt in their response to any inquiries I had. I really enjoyed living there and will miss it!

The building isn't being maintained. Carpets are stained, walls are dirty, the pool area is disgusting. The cabanas are stained. 3. You can't sign up for the golf simulator because someone has hacked it to be fully booked 24/7. 4. Cars and items were stolen from the garage and the doors on the personal garage units are constantly broken. 5. Someone defecated in the pool this summer and they didn't even bother to clean it out or drain it. 6. I also found cocaine under my sun lounger. 7. A resident was accosted by another resident and THEY BOTH STILL LIVE HERE 8. Packages go missing from the package room consistently 9. The walls are SO thin that you can hear your next door neighbors entire phone conversation 10. The leasing and management staff is rude and non responsive. The only time you hear from them is if you owe them money...if you have a problem or a question, they point blank ignore you. 11. They 'accept' service animals, but harass the owners for personal and medical information in order to have them on their lease. 12. Ventilation is poor, you can smell your neighbors dinner through the walls 13. Constant construction noise from the new properties around you. DO NOT MOVE HERE especially if you have family or pets. It's a cesspool. Unless you love paying $6k per month, plus $2.5k per year in amenities fees to swim in a toilet and eavesdrop on your neighbors.

This is the most poorly run building I've ever lived in. There was a fire on my floor. One of the…read moreapartments burned, and the smell of smoke and burned plastic has persisted. Everyone on my floor, smokes and management does not care. There is damage to the hallway constantly I feel like I'm living in a slum and for the price that we pay it's pretty outrageous. Probably the most concerning thing is the air quality after the fire, which is so bad that me and my entire family are having severe asthma and had to get treated for that. What's more concerning is that no one on the floor was told anything about the fire we just saw that the door was ripped off and the apartment was demolished. We got no notification we had to ask and find out what happened. People are constantly smoking in the stairwell and in their apartments. Their dogs running loose in the halls. No one responds to any maintenance requests. The filters in my apartment have not been changed in several years despite logging a request. There's actual soot coming out of the ceiling vents in my apartment. You can't get any response from anyone in management ever. They just literally don't respond to their phone calls or emails. They have this app called Livly where you're supposed to do maintenance request but they just pretty much ignore that. Food delivery they never call up. They just leave the food sitting there. We never even know that it's been delivered unless you go in search of it. When you try to go get your packages, they'll maybe give you one package because they don't want to get all of them because they can't be bothered. You have to come back multiple times if you're expecting packages. The issue is there's a lot of lower income tenants in the building and I think they feel they can treat people badly because of this. Which is unfortunate because everyone should be treated with respect. I'm so tired of the lack of response. People should know about how badly this place is run.
