I'm glad she did because we ended up changing our order and were very happy with the results. At first we wanted the classic açaí bowls with waffles on the side, but changed the order to a mixture of waffle pages and bowls to fit our preferences. For the waffle package you can get it made with the waffle on top of the açaí or you can deconstruct the package and have the waffle on the side. There's an option to eat inside, which is always very tidy and nice or outside of the establishment, which is comfortable either way (or of course, take your order to go). They have a free rewards program that comes in handy for discounts. 10/10 recommend!

When I explained to her, she checked the receipt and realized her mistake then remade my drinks, which is fine bc mistakes happen! But when she handed me my drinks, i noticed she shorted me for one of the drinks.. I even saw her scraping the last bit from the blender into the cup, clearly aware it wasn't enough, but she didn't address it or offer to top it off. After waiting extra time for the corrected order, it felt frustrating to be shorted again. All I'm saying is if I'm promised a size, it shouldn't come up short, especially after a mistake was already fixed. The reason for the five stars is because this place is usually very good to me. I'm hoping this was just an off day.

The default vanilla latte isn't overly sweet, which is good. The regular latte is pretty well pulled. Not over extracted, but a little too much milk for my preference. My wife had an English muffin with an egg. It tasted as good as a 2 ingredient dish could taste. Or at least those 2 ingredients. My raspberry crumble was also good, but could have used more raspberry. I prefer to taste the raspberry as the predominant flavor and in this bar it was a bit masked by the crumble. Still enjoyable though. It's a bit tight inside and typical of an independent coffee shop. Wooden floors and something to look at wherever you turn. Definitely a decent place to grab a cup of coffee if you are in old town. We haven't been here in the evening, it they do have a decent beer list for later in the day.

A practical suggestion for management: use larger bowls. Packing toppings all the way to the rim makes it almost impossible to eat or mix without spilling everywhere. Overall, decent flavors, but tough to recommend given the cost and hassle.

My cousin and I couldn't decide what to get so we opted for sweet and savory and got both an acai bowl and breakfast sandwich. What I like about this place compared to other acai bowl spots i've tried is that they have a lot more toppings in their pre-set menu. They are a little more generous on the fruit. The quesadillas were mushy and tasteless. There was barely any chicken. I had other issues with this location as well. Even though they have a sign that says you can combine a smoothie with a meal for a discount, they refused to help me when I placed an order online. The order did not give me the discount so I asked about it when I got there, and the crew refused to help. They just told me to call an 800 number. The final issue was with their new offer of boba to a smoothie for a pretty steep price of $1.49. Even so, we ordered two of them. Got them home. No boba whatsoever. So there is $3 more wasted in exchange for nothing. So, no help at the store with a pricing issue, no boba even though got charged for it, and the food was sub-par.
