He colors, cuts, braids, gives you those poppin highlights, everything you can imagine. He has even installed my curly hair extensions. I have been going to Tristen for over a year now and I have never left disappointed or as tho I paid a ton of money and am not satisfied with the outcome (which I have felt before plenty of other times). To Keri: You gave me a good cut, but I have to say you were the meanest person I have encountered in a long time. When I called to make the appointment, I stated I was coming in on my lunch break and didn't have time for a shampoo - I wasn't being cheap, I simply was pressed for time. Your response was chilly, but I shrugged it off and didn't take it personally. I came in and you never looked up from your mail sorting. I introduced myself and you said your name (without looking up), turned your back on me, and walked to your chair. No welcome, no smile. And you never looked me in the eye. It bothered me, but I followed you anyway. I sat in your chair and you picked up my hair as though you were holding a dead fish and then dropped it like you were disgusted and said, "What do you want to do?" Your voice was totally flat. I was shocked by your rudeness, but I answered anyway. You said nothing and went to cutting. You asked me (after some silence) if I used henna on my hair. I told you I used a henna-like product because I was allergic to chemicals and then again you were silent. My instinct told me not to ask why, but I ignored it and asked you anyway. You told me that you could feel it and smell it. I pressed further (against my better judgement) and you told me that it smelled like dirt. My hair smelled like dirt. I said, "Wow". I could not believe how venomous you were. You even smirked. I sat in your chair as you cut my hair and said nothing. I wanted to get up and walk out, but you are already in the middle of the cut. I worried that you would mess it up if I spoke up. Your behavior thus far surely indicated that you were capable of doing just that. I began to doubt my color and worried that I had dirty smelling hair! All these things were going through my head when a stylist walked by and said, "What a pretty color! Keri did you do the color?" You immediately said no and made it sound like you would never do a color like mine. I then looked you in the eye and I got it. I knew you were just one mean witch that was hell bent on making me feel like crap. I was nice and sweet through it all, too. I don't know your reason for treating me this way and it doesn't matter. There is no excuse. I do my own color and other stylists have remarked how pretty it is. I'm a clean freak and I certainly do not have dirty smelling hair. You chose the word "dirt", instead of "earthy" because you wanted to make me feel bad. My hair doesn't smell earthy, by the way, either. I left a tip - $10.00 on a $40.00 cut in spite of your treatment. If you had been nice you would have received a fat tip and I would booked an appointment for other services. I'm posting this review because I hope it makes you think. Stay home if you're in a bad mood. Don't take clients who just want a quick cut if it's all about the cash to you. I have a feeling this isn't your first time to treat someone like this, but I'm calling you out on your bad behavior. I think as a business owner you are a disgrace. For those reading this review, believe me, this experience was not exaggerated. It was actually worse as I could not possibly include everything. read more

She knows what I like and don't like and always has great suggestions for me.
