My stylist today* did a great job! She was kind, smart, and experienced in her skills. She was careful to make sure I was happy at every step of my cut and went shorter when I asked. She made sure it was always even and there were no uncut hairs stuck under the cape (I usually end up having to cut missed sections when I get home, but because of this, I didn't with her). Gave me a very cute cut, did exactly what I asked, and did her best to style after despite it being too hot outside for it to really stay that way. Three cheers and five stars for summer haircuts that bring relief from the heat and the weight of too-long thick dark hair. Whew. I feel so much better after this haircut! Thank you, MANE Salon! A man doesn't ask for much, only a fair cut at a fair price. Your site shows a men's haircut for $20. I call to ask & told there is no one who does men's cuts. I have had my hair short, long, & everything in between. I have paid anywhere from $10 shop to $150 salons across Los Angeles, the Bay Area, & Orange County. When a service is advertised it should exist. If it doesn't, it shouldn't be listed. Clarity is respect for the customer which this place has none. Save your time & go somewhere else. read more

It wasn't until the day of the appointment, less than 3 hours before the appointment, that I was told the stylist would not have enough time to cut my hair. It would have been nice to know the day I booked my appointment, not the day of the appointment, that she would not be able to cut my hair. Now I have to figure out where to go for a last minute hair cut since she texted me only a couple of hours before my appointment. Do not recommend. read more

Decided to give this place a shot since I don't have a salon that I normally frequent in Redlands. I like the location, there's parking available on the street and there's also a covered lot across the street. Had originally scheduled my appointment for a Monday, something happened on their end (might've double booked) so my appointment was rescheduled for Friday, 11/15/24. No big deal since it was just for a haircut for my daughter. Tricxy was really nice and asked a lot of questions before she started the cut. I had an appointment for a color consultation this morning and the stylist Cynthia wasn't even there; nobody was there.I had to call the salon and ask her whereabouts. My hair is to my bra strap and normal thickness. I wanted a small amount of balayage and my dark retouched and brought through to the ends, and an inch trim. This work shouldn't take more than 2 1/2 hours tops. Are you ready, are you sitting down?, she quoted me $630! A professional box of Pravana is $7.15 and it would take two boxes for my hair and two toners and some bleach, so $35 max in product. Very unprofessional for me to be there waiting and the highest consult price I've heard of locally in the industry. Run. read more

So the salon is on the 2nd floor right nxt to A La Minute (I stopped there after ;). Super cute inside, and I was immediately greeted. Alexis (hopefully I spelled that correctly) did my cut & style, and her coworker (sorry didn't get her name) was the one who greeted me and later prepped me with a deep conditioning treatment. My hair was so long with tons of dead ends (hadn't cut it since the pandemic hit). I gave her the freedom to just make it better lol. She asked me a few questions to get an idea of what I like and we ended up doing a U cut with layers. Honestly, for everything I got and the phenomenal job she did...I couldn't be happier! I made an appointment for a haircut with Jocelin and she was wonderful! Super gentle with my hair and listened to exactly what I wanted with my cut - and she was so sweet, too! Parking for the salon is relatively easy, depending on the time you go. I arrived before 10am and the parking lot across the street had plenty of space. I made this appointment 2 weeks in advance and since I'm a mom i had to plan in advance to make sure my kids were watched. I decided to try this salon after seeing it on yelp, but I won't be coming back. I got a haircut with Cynthia last week. First, she never asked if I was okay with how much she was going to cut off, so when she was done, I saw how short it was (not a big deal, whatever). Every stylist i've been to asks before they start cutting. Second, I realized that she never showed me the back of my hair after she was done, as previous stylists have also done. This salon treat their clients with respect and a friendly manner. I've been several times now and will keep going back! Naomi is lovely and does an excellent job on both color and cut. She listens to what you want to achieve and will give advice on what technique will give you the best result. I had an appointment today with her, and was shocked by the behavior of a 'Karen', who arrived 30mins early for an appointment she'd been contacted about letting her know the stylist was running late. Not only did she cause a scene for no reason, She didn't wear a mask on entering the salon, with her 2 unmasked kids...even though the door has a clear sign stating masks must be worn and only clients are allowed inside. She refused to see another available stylist and stormed out. Wow, right! But the girls acted with professionalism, and apologized to the clients inside for what had just happened.
