I've gotten my hair cut with Tricxy about 4 times now in the past year. She's sweet and attentive. Makes great conversation. She doesn't make you feel like you're just her next client. I genuinely enjoy going. It's not a chore when I come here. It's like meeting up with a girlfriend. I personally love and have extra respect for Tricxy because she has great time management. I've never waited for her to finish up her client. Her station is always ready and clean (even before COVID). Tricxy knows her craft through and through. I have pretty thick hair which usually takes 1-2 hours to work with, but Cythnia was able to wash, cut, and style it in under an hour! She asked really detailed questions about the cut I was looking to get and also gave some great suggestions on how I can style my hair at home. The first time I went here, I should've walked away if it was something I didn't like hearing. The stylist charged me 10$ more than what was said over the phone bc I had long hair (even tho i just wanted a couple inch trim). Than I explained what I wanted, and she gave her opinion but in a sarcastic and rude way. I'm always open to opinions, but if you say it w no offense. The trim was good, but the second time I visited, the same stylist trimmed my ends again, but completely uneven to where when I got home and looked in the mirror, I knew something was wrong. Thankfully a different stylist fixed it, and took me in as soon as possible and didn't charge me. I don't like throwing out names, but if it helps someone, oh well. Very accommodating even on short notice.. I messaged about getting an appointment last night for today, which I was able to get no problem. They even let me know they were running late and had to push back my appointment by an hour, in advanced (before I arrived there) which is completely understandable. Sometimes hair takes way longer than you expect it to. And you can't rush these things either! Tricxy was the stylist who did my hair. She's very nice, and made sure the length was just right since she was cutting A LOT of hair off. I also consulted for a balayage, and was told it's better to wait for my hair to grow out more.. which is also understandable. She's the professional, not me! :) plus it ended up saving me money! I was just afraid of my hair looking funny after so much length had gotten cut off. But it doesn't look bad at all! She was able to cut it and even thin it out, so I was pleased with that.. usually if it isn't thinned out properly it will poof out really bad and look hideous. Lol! Thank you Mane Salon. Man, I used to go here when Melissa worked there a few years ago and I loved her, eventually visited her down the street when she had her own little business until she moved. I used to like the staff and the price was $25 for a wash, cut, and style. Last fall I came by to ask the girl how much since I assumed it would go up a little, no big deal when she told me $30 but she did seem a little rude wondering why I would come in person just to ask a question. So months later (tonight) I figured I'd go online to see how much the same thing would be. It says $50 for women!? On these yelp reviews I'm seeing $35/$45. Why am I seeing $50? :( I know things are going up but I'm a little bummed out considering I've moved back to the mountains and how expensive gas is. read more

I drove all the way here from riverside in to find a good salon and I wasn't surprised! I got a wash and cut for around $35 which is really cheap. The girl cutting my hair was super friendly and gave me a lot of good hair advice for my hair type (long, straight, and thin). I actually learned that hairdressers had been cutting my hair wrong my entire life I asked for a trim and when she was done it was like no length was missing from my hair! She did an amazing job. And whatever product she put in my hair before styling left my hair looking the most soft and shiny it's ever been!! I've never had a haircut so goo & for a decent price as well. MANE Salon is a perfect addition to the long list of gems in Redlands. From the booking process to the atmosphere to the stylists, everything about this place is perfect. I booked my same-day appointment through Instagram this morning, and loved how quick it was to set up, and choose my service and time slot. This was the most significant factor in me coming in since I rarely have time to chat on the phone, especially about my hair care needs. When I arrived at the salon, Melissa was finishing up with another client, but I waited mere moments before she whisked me to the chair to have a chat about what I was looking for. She understood that being a new mom doesn't allow a ton of time on daily styling, so we agreed on a trim with some long layers for interest. While stylists at other salons would have just given a chop job, and called it done, Melissa continued to consult with me throughout the entire cut to ensure I was getting exactly what I envisioned. What resulted was a style that I can easily manage while running after a 3 year old and 6 month old, and still flip the switch to YOWZA for date night. Love it! Bonus: Melissa is a lovely conversationalist, and I immediately felt like I was catching up with a friend during my hour in the chair. Cynthia is my most favorite stylist ever. I've recently gone to her and have had two haircuts and I've never gotten so many compliments from other people about my hair. She's the first stylist I've ever had actually followed every little request and photo that I've shown her. So many times I go to hairstylist, and I want very specific layers and would show pictures, but they wouldn't give enough and Cynthia's first person who's given exactly The layers that I've been wanting. she's so sweet and she's so easy to talk to. She's really good company and just shows really good work in her haircuts I would recommend her to anybody who wants any hairstyle but if you really want good layers. she's so good at it and I've never been happier. Honestly had the best experience! Highly recommend this salon. I always got a basic straight trim or big chop. I had cut my own hair after some damage and had a very visible hair length difference and was mentally prepared to lose my long hair with this hair cut. I just needed a fresh start with even hair. I wanted layers with as much hair she could use and Cynthia did so well! I was not expecting to like my haircut so much but it came out so cute and perfect. My hair feels so healthy and refreshed. She made it so easy to talk to her about a general idea of my hair vision and she completed that task very well. I got a trim with Tricxy once that I was more than happy with, but the next time because of scheduling I went with Brianda and was super pleased with how she handled me cause I was a little delicate trying to grow out a short hair cut I hated (that I did not get from this salon! It was a good haircut, I just wasn't happy with it for me), so I came back to her today to freshen up my 'do for my new job. I wanted more or less my same haircut, but with a little zhuzh; I was happy with the length, but sick of the body/shape. I didn't have a fully realized concept of what I wanted, just some general ideas, but I actually felt confident and relaxed enough to discuss them with her and letting her do her interpretation/spin on it (which is rare for me with a stylist) and I am so pleased with the results! I even became a little hesistant about the A-line shape I'd asked to keep once it was all finished (she did properly advise me it might not work with my other ideas beforehand), but once I saw what she meant and conceded, she very nicely cut my ends straight. She is so sweet, considerate, and absolutely cares about her work and that you walk out happy. I can't recommend her enough! I'm already looking forward to my next haircut! read more

So I scheduled an appointment for my 7 your old daughter a week in advance at noon- at 11:30 I get a text from the stylist that she is running "behind" - but indicates in the text she won't be ready till 2.... 2 hours?!?! Im already at the salon and the girl there tells me she'll try to find another stylist to do the appointment- when the main stylist (the girl who text me) comes out, she says sorry, but I explained how unprofessional it was for her to cancel last minute and if I had been the one to do it, I would get charged. She says like a little girl with an attitude "I'm sorry, I'm running behind on my first client and I can find someone else to do your kid." Ya like that! So I said "duh!" And she rolls her eyes like she is the one inconvenienced .... So rude, so unprofessional!!! They said I was the one being rude- but it was due to the fact that they didn't care that I was there and couldn't provide the service I booked- and informed me last minute!! These girls act like they have the best salon on the block. I'd go put your money else where. They were literally little b**ches. Look like they came straight out of school- clearly which is why her first client was running late. A real professional would do both services or know how to fulfill the services she books. I had a wonderful experience here, and even made sure to make a reservation for my next haircut before I left. I got my haircut by Brianda. She cut my hair exactly how I requested. I was a little vague as I do that sometimes, so she even asked further questions to make sure I was 100 percent happy with my cut. When making my reservation, she was very detailed. I was worried that I would be late, and she let me know there was a 15 min grace period although there would be a chance I may not be able to get my hair washed. I appreciated her letting me know this information ahead of time just in case, so I do not get disappointed. Lastly; I LOVED the decorations and the vibe.
