I just woke up one day and was on this kick about going to a head spa. I was fortunate enough to find this place on Yelp and they had appointments available within a few days from the date I booked. I felt like it was meant to be because it just all worked out so well and booking online was so easy. I booked a 90 minute appointment with Bitali for the Moisturizing Head Spa service. The location was easy for me to find because I know the area well, but if you're unfamiliar I put up photos of the door and its relation to a business that's easy to spot from the street. It's the door just to the left of Jersey's Pizza. The stairs lead you up to the hallway where you'll wait. She opens the door right at the time of your service. I liked the energy in the waiting area. The hallway is filled with business doors where women are getting their hair or nails done. There are also some aestheticians who have doors in the hallway. I liked the chatter from all the ladies taking care of themselves. It is a very joyful and beautiful space. Once I was in the room, I was greeted and instructed to remove my top clothing and sit in the chair with my towel robe. Bitali did a visual assessment with a scalp camera and explained what we were looking at throughout. After that I laid out and she went to work. It was so relaxing! I savored every minute of peace I had laying there. After the final rinse out, I got back in the chair to do a reassessment of my scalp. I got dressed and left with my hair wet. Once it dried out, my hair was the softest it's ever been. The whole experience was well worth it. I feel great and will be back regularly! read more

Booking (and changing your appointment if you need to) is super easy on her site! Bitali's cozy space is on the second floor of one of the cool old Redlands buildings on Orange near Redlands Blvd. She asked me questions about my hair, how often I wash and if I had oily or dryness issues, and then she used one of those cool cameras to look at my scalp. My scalp was dry and irritated, so she created a custom treatment for me to help nourish my hair and scalp. There is something so personal about your hair being washed, and the whole experience was so luxurious! She used a hair mask with peppermint in it, which felt and smelled so amazing! She massaged, steamed, hydrated, exfoliated, you name it! While the steam was working its magic, she also gave me a relaxing arm and shoulder massage! This was such a unique, pampering experience, and my hair and scalp felt amazing afterward! The room is super nice and relaxing and definitely gave me a giddy feeling to know i was finally doing it. I will be treating my GFs to this experience when they are in need of some pampering.
