It was just a few days before Christmas so I expected the salon to be very busy. I called in and was able to get an appointment very quickly! I spoke with Katie over the phone and decided to go in and see her even though other stylist were available. Katie was very nice and thoughtful. Offered me a beverage and made sure I was comfortable. We discussed my color concerns and she was able to quickly guide me and color match to my natural color. I'm pretty simple when it comes to cut and style but I very much appreciate that she still went over the cut and clarified before she began. She had another client at the same time as me but I did not feel rushed or overlooked. What I appreciated so much was I felt she was able to give me the experience I wanted. I like to sit quietly and get my hair done I don't so much like having a conversation and want to close my eyes and relax. I felt she totally understood my energy. I've been to plenty stylist who keep chatting away even when I barely respond and I feel I'm making it obvious I'm not interested in conversation. I did notice she had great conversation with her other client which made me appreciate that she really understood the experience I was looking for. My color came out great and I loved my cut. Color held up very well over the next couple months even with my regrowth the all over color still maintained. This is something that at other salons I notice changes as the weeks go by. After my appointment I was waiting in the lobby and she came back to check on me again to make sure I didn't need something to drink. She's very sweet. I am looking forward to my next appointment with Katie and again was very happy as a first time client at the salon. I have been looking for a talented hairdresser who understands what I am asking for and I finally found one! I don't do anything complicated to my hair, just color, cut and some highlights here and there. Victoria has been wonderful, she listens and takes her time doing my hair which I really appreciate. This past visit she suggested a warm copper color and it looks beautiful. She really does a good job and isn't astronomical with her pricing. I would like to say first of all that Sarah Segura is the best stylist I found here in Redlands, I am from Boston MA and when I moved here the hardest thing for me was finding a new stylist I could trust to do the best work for me. After trying different stylist I finally walked into Sarah's salon and spoke with her explained I was from Boston and needed to find the right stylist for me. She actually asked if I could call my stylist in Boston so they could communicate what my needs and wants were and are. Sarah A. is the best barber/stylist I've seen in a longgg time. I tend to get a 90s(ish) style, medium length, middle part men's haircut (scissor cut), but have a few cowlicks which need some special attention-- blending, texturing, whatever. I had a haircut with Tori. I came kinda indecisive with what to do with my damaged short hair. Part of me just wanted to just chop it all off and start new but Tori knew that I was also trying to grow my hair and that I really didn't want to go short. Anyways she managed to cut off practically all my damaged ends and surprisingly my hair length was minimally cut & best of all I don't feel the crunchy bushy ends anymore. Come make an appointment with Tori. She knows her stuff. She got what I wanted. Which was a bob hair cut angled, and different brown colors. Also have great hair products. And i like the pandora music they have going on. The only complaint I have is their prices. It took 2 appointments to get this done and cost the most I have ever had done. I called Segura salon right when they opened this morning for a color/cut repair. They were luckily able to fit me in the same afternoon with stylist Katie. I am extremely happy with the job Katie did with my hair!!! She was super friendly, kind and understanding about the color I wanted. I am a dark brown who attempted to go lighter at another salon (it didn't quite work out, on the orange side).
