I always said if I had a personal chef to cook all my meals for me, losing weight would be much easier. With this service, I've found just that. I highly recommend them! So if you're in the market for healthy and want to count your calories, as far as I could find, they do not have that listed anywhere.

My partner and I have been using Nature's purpose for 7 months and I'll tell you why I love it. Natures purpose has been the first service that I have had absolutely no issues with. First, they don't require a subscription, I simply order the meals I want each week and that's what I get. Such a simple concept, yet hardly anyone does it. Second, since they're local the food is always a fresh and has good quality ingredients. Third, the website actually gives you all the nutrition information you need. I tried so many places that would leave that out and only give you calories. Being able to see how much protein is in a dish is so important to me. Also, they have different sizes and tell the nutrition of each size. Fourth, the variety of food is great, I never get bored of the meals because there are so many to choose from and they add new ones all the time. Fifth, is the support. Delivery is always on time, and I've had a broken container every once in a while, and I've gotten refunds each time as well as an offer for a replacement. 6th and final, it's tasty and affordable. The prices are what made me check them out in the first place, but the flavor is what made me stay. All of these things rolled up helped me lose 45 pounds in the last 7 months. I have no proof, but I'm guessing that "BBQ sauce" simply means that an employee cracked open a bottle of pre-made BBQ sauce; they did not cook the sauce from scratch. Portions are small. And, for most meals, you really only get the protein. So this really isn't much of a timesaver, because you still have to buy and cook all of your sides. On the positive, the place is clean.

On this occasion, I put my order for a club Lulu, which is basically a turkey Tom that includes bacon. I like to get my club Lulu and add onions, cucumbers, peppers, and mustard on the side. When I started to eat sandwich on my journey home, I noticed that it was void of bacon. The bacon offers a certain saltiness to offset the turkey. Thankfully, I had only driven like three blocks away, so I returned and let them know that they forgot to add the bacon because one of the sandwich didn't taste that great and too it was kind of expensive to get the club. Lulu and cost like $13 for an 8 inch sub. They were really good about remaking my sandwich and it was so much better. The second time around it had the perfect amount of ingredients and the bacon really does complement the turkey. I'm so glad that I was able to get the sandwich made the way it's supposed to be. All in all I was still say that I was a little disappointed in Jimmy John's and it's a hard sale to do an 8 inch sub for almost $13 so I probably won't be back and I probably will just end up making a sandwich at home because I can make several at least two sandwiches at home for the same price. I also noticed that they no longer have $.25 leftover bread and I'm sure that's because of the economy. But now the leftover bread is like $.93.

I started ordering from the company…read moreagain about a month ago and have noticed a few things have changed: -There seems to be more sauces I'm not really a fan of. -My fridge smells like whatever sauces or seasonings being used and I'm not a fan of that either. -The containers seem to have a lot more grease at the bottom when the food is gone than before. -The delivery person used to let you know when they were on their way to your house, now they just show up. Even though there's a delivery period of 5.5 hours listed when you order, yes...the old notice that someone was actually on their way was appreciated. -There used to be more vegetables. In one of the meals this week, there were only 6 pieces of vegetables (in the large portion). A week or two ago I complained the potatoes were burned. The company responded to my complaint. This week, there were potatoes in the green chili chicken that weren't cooked thoroughly. I didn't complain this week, because I complained the last time I ordered. But if you can't cook the potatoes without overcooking them or undercooking them, maybe you shouldn't offer them as an option. This week, I sent a message asking what the macros for the steak meal were, but I never received a response. I also included a picture of container not having a label. Their website says "Each meal varies in the number of carbs/protein/macros but are guaranteed to be healthy options. Each meal prep has labels to provided detailed description of the serving size." Aside from the errors in those sentences lol...this is the second time I've had to email the company to get the macros for the labels that weren't on the container...but this time, no one responded. I use this meal service because I used to enjoy the food, the macro labels and to make my life easier. But it doesn't seem like that's the case anymore.
