I've come here to tell you how incredible this food service is. I have tried so many online and local food prep services and they're all lacking in some way. My partner and I have been using Nature's purpose for 7 months and I'll tell you why I love it. Natures purpose has been the first service that I have had absolutely no issues with. First, they don't require a subscription, I simply order the meals I want each week and that's what I get. Such a simple concept, yet hardly anyone does it. Second, since they're local the food is always a fresh and has good quality ingredients. Third, the website actually gives you all the nutrition information you need. I tried so many places that would leave that out and only give you calories. Being able to see how much protein is in a dish is so important to me. Also, they have different sizes and tell the nutrition of each size. Fourth, the variety of food is great, I never get bored of the meals because there are so many to choose from and they add new ones all the time. Fifth, is the support. Delivery is always on time, and I've had a broken container every once in a while, and I've gotten refunds each time as well as an offer for a replacement. 6th and final, it's tasty and affordable. The prices are what made me check them out in the first place, but the flavor is what made me stay. All of these things rolled up helped me lose 45 pounds in the last 7 months. Wow, okay, I'm SO glad I found this place! SIMPLE INGREDIENTS, STRAIGHTFORWARD DELIVERY, MEAL PREP HELP, and LOCAL! I like cooking sometimes, but making everything from scratch is exhausting for me. I especially hate cooking meat because I can never seem to do it right, so I love that you can just order "a la carte" items from this place, like a big box of cooked steak, salmon, chicken, roasted vegetables, etc., and then put them together to make your own meals. I mostly use this service to replace my least favorite part of meal prepping. I haven't tried many of their already packaged meals yet, but I'm sure they're good, since all the individual items have been. Tried it for two weeks. I ordered dinner meals and salads. I thought some of the food tasted good. Salmon was good. I originally liked the salads but my second order was filled with brown lettuce so I threw it out. Chicken in the salad is dry. A friend and I orders at the same time. Recently began using their meal prep service and it is delicious, convenient and cost competitive when considering alternatives like fast food or dining out. Delivery service at less than $4.00 is very reasonable, saving time and gas. There is a deadline for ordering and delivery is simply a drop off without cold storage so in both instances your need to plan ahead or they also provide a third party drop off location. If have only tried a half dozen of their entries and salads but plan to expand choices over time. I am looking forward to trying their salmon dish which isn't always offered. Nature's Purpose has made my life so much easier! I've always wanted to try a healthy meal prep service, but didn't want a subscription. Fortunately, Nature's Purpose requires zero commitment. In addition, they're local and affordable! You just place an order anytime by noon on Thursday for a Monday delivery. My gym has a partnership with them, so I get my meals delivered straight to my gym, which is cheaper than having them delivered to my house. Although their seafood and veggie options are limited, the seafood options that they do have are delicious. My favorite is the Asian Zing. It comes with shrimp, green beans, fried rice and spicy honey sauce. Two out of my five meals are usually the Asian Zing. Super tasty and filling! Ingredients and macros are clearly listed on each package to help you track. They add new items on a weekly or almost weekly basis. Some things I would love to see in the future: more seafood and vegetarian options and nutritional info including sugar and sodium content. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied! read more

Nature's Purpose (NP) is an outstanding meal plan and I began using it a little over 2 months ago. I like that the calories, proteins, fats, and carbs are listed on the packaging. The containers are sturdy and the lids stay on nicely. I previously used a national plan which was not nearly as convenient nor was the quality as reliable. NP allows ordering by the week or not all. There is nothing to cancel and no meals that arrive because you forgot to cancel for the week. That's just for starters! The meals themselves are fresh and very tasty. There hasn't been a single one that we didn't really enjoy and my husband can sometimes be picky. I like that they come in three sizes. I typically buy the small for myself and medium for husband. Also, unlike other plans, you can order different meals for every person you buy for. It's like ordering out without having to go anywhere. I've also lost weight because I'm not getting seconds when I really don't need them. LOL. I will continue to buy meals from NP as long as the quality and taste remain this good. read more

My parents ate their first Nature's Purpose meal and were VERY disappointed. The potatoes were delicious and the carrots and peas were fine. But, the meat was like shoe leather. It says "Beef Chuck" which is a piece of meat we would NEVER buy. Advertised as Grandma's Roast. It was dry and stringy. They had to put BBQ sauce on it just to swallow it. This was by far my favorite for healthy meal delivery! You order your food by Thursday at midnight and it is hand delivered to your door on either Sunday or Monday between 5:30 and 9:30pm. You pick the day that is best for you. On the day of delivery they narrow it down even more for the time frame and you can track your order! Presentation was awesome from delivery to table! They have three sizes small, medium, and Large and let me tell you they do not skimp! You can pick from several categories when you order 1. Just protein 2. Custom breakfast 3. Lunch/dinner 4. Soups/sauce 5. Just sides I ordered 4 small lunches, three medium dinners, one just protein which was chicken, and a sauce. With delivery it was less than $90 bucks! I also like that they put the calories, macros, and nutritional info on the side. Make sure you organize your food by the date on them as well so they don't expire before eating them. They even were able to deliver steak that was still pink in the middle! That has Always been hard for me to find. You have the option to put in the microwave or on the stove! I've been consistently ordering three meals for two people weekly from Nature's Purpose for nearly a year. The meals are typically good, and super convenient. Surprisingly, my favorite dish is the sweet potato breakfast hash with poached eggs; I never thought I would like eggs from the microwave. Equally shocking, the bayou bowl is delicious, even though it's shrimp in the microwave. I do have a few complaints. One, the vegetables are not always cooked enough. I don't know if they expect the microwave to fully cook raw potatoes, carrots, and green beans, or if they're just not cooking them enough in their kitchen before packaging them. I do know it's not the most pleasant experience when I get something so undercooked. Two, the delivery schedule options, or lack thereof. I place my order to be delivered every Sunday. Unfortunately, they don't allow you to choose a timeframe. I have Sunday morning obligations, so it would be nice to narrow down a delivery time to afternoon. I'm not asking to know the exact minute, or even hour. Just a box that splits the delivery day into morning and afternoon, that's all. The current setup forces me to pay for extra ice pack packaging. I don't mind the added cost, but I don't need or desire adding three more ice packs to my freezer every week, or adding another foil insulated bag to my pile. I don't like the extra waste. Third, quality control. The undercooked vegetables fall into this category, but it's more than that. Sometimes I get vegetables that have spoiled. The broccoli is a common culprit, but I just hope that the brown ends are from being baked. I've also had red onions with huge, clearly visible, rotten green marks, which is completely unacceptable and disgusting. While we're on the topic of onions, cut them up a little more; an onion chunk shouldn't be the same size as a piece of potato or broccoli. Lastly, nobody wants a huge glob of fat in your meats. While it's a rare occurrence, we have occasionally had some inedible piece of fat in the pork/beef dishes, especially the backyard bbq. I tried having these issues addressed on social media, but was instantly banned from their account after only asking about the undercooked veggies; I didn't even have the opportunity to provide feedback about delivery and quality control. That poor customer service interaction, in addition to my minor complaints, is what led to my rating. Overall, I'll probably keep ordering from them for now, because of the convenience, and knowing that it's better for me than fast food. For the cost though, I expect to be able to provide feedback without being shrugged off. read more

**UPDATED REVIEW (based on my second order): I'd give them 5 stars for my first order but the second one I'd only give 2 stars because of the decline in the quality of food and a mistake. They gave me diced sweet potatoes instead of mashed sweet potatoes for some of my meals and unfortunately the receipt doesn't specify mashed or diced, it just states sweet potatoes which caused confusion. Chicken was extremely dry and chewy. Nothing redeeming about it. Green beans were plain which isn't the end of the world because it's easy to season or add sauce. Some asparagus stalks were hard as a rock and were not edible because they served the bottom pieces that should have been thrown away. The zucchini was hard and undercooked as well. The salmon was fishy and overcooked. White potatoes weren't cooked enough and were hard as well. Thought the sauces had way too much garlic. The cauliflower rice was the strangest tasting dish I've had yet. Consistency was more mushy like quinoa and the flavor was not to my liking. See my photos to look at the color (turmeric and paprika) and consistency of this side. They do have the adjusted recipes (e.g., diced sweet potatoes, cauliflower rice) on their website. The worst was when I found what appeared to be some sort of string in my turkey meatball. See photo: I placed it on my fingernail so it stood out as it was clear colored. Very disappointed with quality control this time. Surprised it went downhill so quickly. ORIGINAL REVIEW (based on my first order): Customer service actually responds and helps customers and potential customers if they have a question which is a rarity nowadays. I was impressed from the start and continued to be throughout the process. I have a different billing address than my delivery address but Nature's Purpose had no problem with that. They even have two separate areas to enter both a delivery address and billing address. They delivered my order exactly where I asked them to -- unlike some other food prep delivery services in the area that delivered my meals to my billing address and my food sat there all day. I took a chance ordering from Nature's Purpose despite the issues I had with other local companies and boy am I glad I did. The food came in a large lightweight cooler pack, not anything bulky. There are very detailed labels on each meal outlining the calories, protein, carbs, fat, ingredients, instructions, use by date, size and type of meal such as dinner or breakfast. I was very impressed with their labels. They even put the customer's name on the label so it's obvious it's a very well organized company. The sizes are true. Smalls are more like snack size and have around 190 calories -- at least the ones I had. So I'd recommend a medium or large for a meal depending on your caloric intake. I assumed the food would be bland but I was pleasantly surprised when most everything had flavor without a lot of sodium. Their sauces (which are purchased separately) are extremely flavorful though have too much garlic. A little goes a long way so you definitely get more bang for your buck from one container. They even gave me a free sauce because I was a new customer. I've already placed my next order. Makes life easier not having to fret about buying healthy ingredients, chopping, preparing and cooking. Definitely worth the money for convenience alone but even more so for the flavor and ingredients. read more

With everything being as crazy as it is right now, we finally decided to try out Nature's Purpose for our lunches (since we are working from home everyday). We ordered 5 meals each with some sauces, the turkey chili, and sweet potato bacon soup. All of it has been excellent. So far, I have been the most impressed with the Indian Butter Chicken and Beef Tips. Amazing flavor, super filling, and doesn't make me feel bad since the mediums average around 400-550 calories. Today I finished the last meal of my first order with Nature's Purpose and I am so in love! The customization of the meals along with the affordability are my favorite thing. Not to mention the ease of ordering online. All my meals were perfectly seasoned and the two sauces I had were perfect additions if I chose to add them. Tried this for the first time and it was really good. I wasn't crazy about the turkey meatballs-too much sun dried tomato for me, but the beef tips, steak, and chicken were great. Perfectly portioned and easy to grab and go for work or even a quick dinner. My only complaint is the one time per week order deadline. I found Natures Purpose about a year and a half ago. I used them many times and was blown away with how amazing everything was. I then moved up north and had to stop ordering. :( Well. I needed to meal prep again and I figured out a way to get my meals. Hey are delivered to a friends house and then they bring it up to me! I know. Good friend huh! I could of went with a meal prep place in Prescott but nope! I wanted my Natures Purpose! The flavor is outstanding. The new sauces they've added are RIDICULOUSLY good!!
