Prior to this, we've tried everything from Hello Fresh, Blue Apron, and Factor, all of which had questionable freshness with ingredients and repetitive menus. The dinner items we've picked from Eat Clean Phx are very flavorful and the perfect portion size. The sodium content is balanced and not overloaded with sauces. I love their meal prep food! You can order ahead on the app and choose pick up option from their shop in Scottsdale or delivery. If in a pinch, you can stop by their shop and grab premade options. They always have a lot of inventory from meals to bulk basics (proteins, healthy carbs, veggies) prepped too. The staff is always so kind and helpful. Been waiting for some time to try this place out. I live far and wanted to wait until I was in the area. Although they do deliver!!! and pricing for delivery isn't bad. Around $10. For pre-made meals this is the best I've ever tasted. The pork carnitas dish is amazing. I also tried the PB&J overnight oats and the S'mores overnight oats. The PB&J was my favorite. It's expensive. For 2 overnight oats and 2 meals + a liquid Gold juice (mango, lemon, ginger, turmeric) drink I grabbed was a little over $72 The quality of food is worth the price- so if you can afford it- do it EDIT A FEW DAYS LATER: ok I felt it was expensive. But now that we have been home and eating on the 4 things we got for days. I want to say I think prices are very reasonable. The pork carnitas was about $20 alone but you get so much meat! This place has left me speechless in the best possible way...just wow. I have been on a health journey to add more protein to my diet. I am terrible at meal prep because A) who has that much time and B) I travel a ton for work which brings me back to A). I have had a hard time with those services like factor because they just are too high in calories and I'm not a huge fan of the frozen meals. Hence I began to look for an alternative and one that was local. I actually found eat clean Phx through Yelp and decided to give them a try. Everything about the process was easy, the ordering, the delivery, the protein in each item. First off, I had Fred text me when he would be delivering and if I needed insulated bags or not. He was so nice to work with! Second was the taste test. I ordered a little bit of everything, oatmeal, protein balls, multiple entrees, and cheesecakes. Everything was freaking phenomenal!! I mean like how is healthy food this food phenomenal! There was only one meal of all the 12 items I ordered that I didn't care for (breakfast sausage bowl). But I beyond loved everything else! Blessing and a curse because I decided to place another order last Monday that was delivered today. Everything new that I've tried I loved. At this point my salary will now be going directly to eat clean phx so thank you! While, I love the concept and have heard great things about eat clean phx, what I really wanted was to have the ability to easily choose meals/snacks based on macros. I tried going on the website, calling and actually even stopping in the store but the way it is set up does not actually make it easy to "eat healthy" for me personally. A lot of the counts on meals were very high in carbs. I think there needs to be a more customizable approach for people with various goals and then I would love to try it. read more

Honestly not impressed. Just moved here from vegas and wanted a meal prep service. Vegas has great options for grab and go service and thought this would be similar. First the customer service terrible. No one greeted or even explained anything to us. Then we got home. And the meals are nothing insane. Bland and didn't seem like Any thought was put into this. And for the carb count on every meal...really high!! Don't really see this as a meal prep service for healthy options for a fitness journey. Just a place to make your food if You don't have time. I have gotten food from here for 4 or 5 weeks now, and it's by far the best meal prep service I've found, but also the most expensive. You can get the meals delivered for a fee of $10 or pick up if you're in the area. One day I ordered for a Sunday pick up and they accommodated me to pick up Saturday by just giving them a phone call. It is a little tricky to find the first time, but afterward it's easy and there's runs of parking. The food quality has been consistently good. I wasn't a huge fan of the a la carte options, but have enjoyed most of the mains. I am not sure if they rotate meals, but some of my favorites have been the million dollar chicken enchilada, the buffalo chicken sweet potato, and the brisket mac n cheese. On the other hand, I did not enjoy the sriracha sweet and sour meatballs or the kobe meatloaf. The turkey sausage breakfast bowl with some hot sauce does the trick and keeps me full, but I wouldn't say it's the best, but easier than cooking! I saw they just changed their hours to be open until 6pm, which is exciting for the working people! Blown away, this place is a gem! The food is delicious and healthy and even my picky kids have loved it. I stumbled upon it because we are remodeling our kitchen but will use them again for sure. We try to eat healthy but I do not enjoy cooking healthy. I'm not creative or even want to explore more. My children are grown so just feels like a waste cooking for one or two of us. We stumbled on to this place. Had tried other meal prep & delivery service. Some were ok. I just thought "what can you expect" from food you just heat up. Well once I tried these guys... I looked no further!!! They absolutely have the very best Blackend Salmon I've ever had!! I get that for myself every week. I love that they have certain things every week as a staple but also have a different menu weekly. I've only had one meal I didn't care for & we've had all our food from them for probably (not exactly sure) 6 months or so. It's absolutely perfect size helpings, some meals I get 2 out of. We also will freeze some too. It was perfect for when I went out of town and my husband still had all the food he needed without having to eat like garbage. Some of the meals aren't great for freezing but you can tell which ones are good candidates. The waffles (I would never choose that because I don't eat stuff like that) are my son's favorite. I tried them and they were absolutely amazing! Eat meal supplies you with everything you need. For example on enchiladas they supply a container of sour cream, burritos you get a salsa & queso, waffles a syrup & wonderful berry sauce (no need for syrup because that's amazing). You can have delivered or pick up. We do both. When they deliver (I was skeptical durning hot summer months) you can answer or if your not home and want them to leave it by door- they are packaged in insulated bags with tons of ice packs. They have amazing juices, wonderful snacks. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. Every time I've gone in the entire staff has been so sweet & helpful. When you get it delivered the drivers have contacted me the day prior to give a two hour window but then in the morning give you roughly 30 min window & text upon arrival. So not only is the delivery process fantastic (if you've tried others you'll be so impressed by how these guys do it) but I appreciate being able to walk in and get what I want on a slow week or vacation week. I was so sad one week they had just run out of the blackend salmon on a walk in day & I was really bummed about that. Some of the meal prep places say "fine dining" food right to your home.... it's absolutely not. I can say that their blackened salmon is the best I've ever had! Better than mastro's or even fresh from Alaska. I'm not kidding. At first it feels pricey (they ALL are) but we save so much money because we pretty much eat them for all our meals. So besides milk and little things we don't buy groceries anymore. We fill our fridge weekly with their containers with all the food! Silly thing but I appreciate it so much that I don't get emails from them. A lot of the places want your email, phone number other info before you can even see what kind of food they even have. Eat Clean PHX was quite a find for us. We had been using meal deliveries for a number of years as our primary source of dinner meals. First we tried several that supplied ingredients only, so meal preparation and cooking was still a requirement. After a while of that (several national services), we discovered that we no longer had time to fix dinner every night, so we moved to prepared meals. None of the companies we tried offered enough variety that met both my (garbage disposal) and my wife's (finicky) palates, while being tasty. We tried Freshly, Factor 75, Cook Unity, etc, in fact had 3 going at once because we could never find enough good meals from one of them on a frequent basis. We thus wound up choosing one (or two) on a given week and suspending delivery on the other(s). That became a nightmare to track, as the food would keep coming without our intervention (the plans would auto-select meals, often ones in which we had no interest), so we had to be on top of them every week. Last August, we saw a billboard in North Phoenix for Eat Clean and thought, wow, a LOCAL meal delivery company? We decided to give it a try and haven't looked back. We kept the other services going for a while just in case, but ECP had so many delicious and varietal offerings that are also HEALTHY, that we found ourselves suspending all our other services every week and only ordering from ECP. They're a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for: the quality of the food is excellent. After a few months, we finally wound up cancelling our other services completely and use ECP as our only source of in-home dinner-portion meals. Between the two of us, that's 10 meals (or equivalent in terms of a la cartes), and often snacks, nearly every week (except holidays) for the past 9-10 months. That's $4500 to one meal service in that short amount of time, so that alone should speak volumes to our satisfaction with them. I can't speak to their delivery service (we pickup our meals from their kitchen in North Scottsdale every week, driving from 45 mins away, so we must like them, right?) But the owners have been great to work with, as well. Ryan has been very responsive to e-mailed questions, getting back to me within the next day every time, and knows me by name when I walk through the door. It's nice to know that they care about their customers. We're likely a top customer (in at least consistency if not volume) now and plan to be for the foreseeable future, as long as ECP keeps churning out great food options that are good for you! read more

I was doing a mail delivery service before this, but I cancelled it after trying the meals from here!
