We got a Reuben sandwich, the pretzels and cheese and the Das Brat. The biggest winner was the Reuben. I cannot say enough about this sandwich, the corned beef was AMAZING (my husband was chatting with the owner, and apparently he MAKES it!!) the bread was perfect, the cheese was mixed in with the meat... the kraut....man...it is literally the best Reuben or any other sandwich I have eaten in my 50 years of life. The brat was also good, was a little heavy on the aoli and onion for me, but the kraut, mustard and sausage were excellent. The beer cheese was awesome, and I am sure the pretzels were amazing when they came out of the oven, but didn't travel or age well. They served as a passable vehicle for the amazing beer cheese. Don't let the humble appearance fool you, this man is doing the Lord's work.

The way this works is that you take a ticket and then Yumi will call your number out when you are ready. The experience is unique and unlike any other matcha/coffee shops. It is very personal and I got to learn more about how Yumi's business got started. One of the other things I liked was that since this is a one party at a time in the shop, you really get to see the craft and precision that goes into making each drink. I got the seasonal sweet potato drink, which was 9.50. It was so delicious and not too sweet. The matcha flavor wasn't astringent or watered down. It paired nicely with the sweet potato. Yumi was absolutely lovely, and this is definitely a place I'd bring friends to for a sit down matcha. After that, you can sit outside the shop to do work as well. Overall, a very relaxing matcha break!
