I found Fran's Kitchen. This meal prep company really doesn't belong in the meal prep category its 10 times better then that! You personally have Fran reach out to you and get your background, what your health goals are, what foods you like, what portion size you are looking for and more. She connects with you and makes you feel comfortable. She is extremely knowledgeable and helps guide you in the direction you are looking for. I personally had a very specific goal with lots of needs to meet that goal and she understood EXACTLY what I needed. Also, there are many options as far as pricing and I was pleased with the menu she ended up putting together with me. I will receive my food in 3 days and will be sure to follow up to let you know how that part of the company is but so far so good! Have a blessed day!

Cura Kitchen is a great option for those looking for quick & easy meal options that you can…read morecustomize to meet your nutritional needs / preferences. I primarily use it as a quick option for lunches during the work week. While dealing with a medical condition, I also found it incredibly helpful in taking the work out of cooking and simplifying options while still meeting nutritional needs for my condition. I was previously on the low carb plan. Calories and carbs were very reasonable for a midday meal, and I appreciated the substitutions they made to remove rice (cauliflower rice/mashed, zucchini noodles, etc.). My medical condition required me to increase my carbohydrate intake, and I liked that Cura's Signature Plan helped me do that while taking the guess work out of portioning and clearly communicating macros. There are some really solid meals that I look forward to when they pop up on the weekly menu. That said, there are some weeks I'm less enthusiastic about the menu and just order six of the same thing (my plan is 6 meals/week). An opportunity for improvement could be more variation in the menus. It does get a bit repetitive after a while. The meals are filling though, and nutrition is pretty balanced. I personally find the beef and veggie options very tasty. However, I do not like how the chicken tastes at all (have not tried fish). I am not a fan of the egg dishes for breakfast. I am a picky eater though, so this could be a me thing. Outside of Cura, I enjoy chicken / egg - either something about theirs or the way it microwaves is different and unappetizing to me. I usually end up with a bi weekly delivery cadence, but this is due to preference and preferring to sometimes cook my own meals. The containers freeze easily, and I love that Cura gives you the option to pause your subscription for a week at a time. Delivery is always very prompt and communicated well. I appreciate that they confirm the window and pack the items well to ensure they stay fresh, even if you aren't home at time of delivery. There were a few times I missed the order cutoff, and I found the staff very accommodating when I reached out directly to confirm I could still select. It isn't the cheapest option out there for meal delivery, but I like that Cura Kitchen is local and more health conscious.

This is a wonderful local vendor who prepares meals with the consistency and care of a big brand. The food is DELICIOUS, the portions are filling, and the options have tons of variety but also stay consistent week to week. They deliver for free and that is a perk that puts them head and shoulders above everyone else - even takeout from DoorDash! They also offer free text reminders which have been such a wonderful help - each week I order at least a few of their meals as "backups" for when life gets crazy and we have nothing to eat! Their deserts are delightful as well - they taste so bad for you but they're protein based!

The guy who dropped my meals off said he let his dispatch know and they'd contact me later that day or bring them to me the next day. I never heard from them, I sent them a message from my portal, called, messaged them on instagram. They had no issue charging me the full amount but had every issue actually providing the services I paid for. I'd been thinking about canceling for some time as their food is generally either not seasoned at all or seasoned to the point it's inedible. So this should serve as a warning to others that they don't care about delivering the services you pay for nor is the food good enough to pay for.

I'm in Phoenix for a week as part of a very special trip where I'll be proposing, so I needed to…read moredrop some weight. As such, I was looking for a company to make my meals for me on short notice and without having to sign up for a long term subscription. The guy I talked to, who's definitely the manager or owner of the place (I think his name was Mathew), really took alot of time to talk to me about my health goals and what I want to accomplish, and customized the weight loss meals to my dietary needs. The meals are weighed on a food scale and calorie counted. And you get on a daily or weekly food plan geared towards the goal you're trying to accomplish. For affordable healthy food, it's pretty good. I went into it not expecting a gourmet meal, I went into it expecting something simple and healthy so I can lose weight, and I definitely got what I was looking for.

Hmm, I'm wondering who wrote the five star reviews because the food certainly doesn't warrant it. I…read moregive it three stars because the price is affordable and they have a pick up location that was open on Sunday morning. The food however, was not good. The vegetables were not cooked nor seasoned, the brown rice and mashed potatoes were cooked but not seasoned, and the protein was hit or miss. The ground turkey was seasoned with black pepper and tasty but I also had the chicken which had zero seasoning and no sauce. The chicken was not very good at all, very bland and chewy. I didn't appreciate uncooked vegetables nor did I like how large the zucchini slices were. A meal shouldn't require a knife to eat if it's in a microwaveable container. Speaking of containers, they have no heating instructions nor do they list or circle the ingredients inside. I assume I was eating ground turkey but it wasn't labeled. I also was surprised I didn't receive any meals with fish or tofu. Same with the lack of variety with the vegetables. None of my seven meals had asparagus, green beans, peas, or peppers. Something got lost in translation with the variety. Look at my photos to see what the food and containers looks like. The concept is great and they get a lot of business but it was a miss for me.

Tasting her samples, and seeing the rest of the menu, it was a "no-brainer" to give it a "Go!" Chef Keto does not disappoint. The mango one was interesting but not the right thing for a chip dip which is what I was looking for. The plain however, was anything but plain. It had a great taste so I forked up the $7 for it and boy was it worth it. No exaggeration I literally ate all of it later in the day. It was fresh and delicious. I deducted a star because I had no idea they had meal delivery services which probably should have been advertised at the market. As far as I knew they only sold guacamole.
