This is by far the best meal service I have ever used. I've tried several of the big names and between the wasteful packaging, high sodium content or tedious instructions, none were a good fit. This is a wonderful local vendor who prepares meals with the consistency and care of a big brand. The food is DELICIOUS, the portions are filling, and the options have tons of variety but also stay consistent week to week. They deliver for free and that is a perk that puts them head and shoulders above everyone else - even takeout from DoorDash! They also offer free text reminders which have been such a wonderful help - each week I order at least a few of their meals as "backups" for when life gets crazy and we have nothing to eat! I have been ordering from Coremaz meals for almost a year now. I have used several prep meals over the last few years. I have two small children, work full time, and don't have time to prep my meals for the week. Prior to ordering meal prep I would pretty much eat my kid's leftovers or cooks something once a week and eat the same thing all week. A friend recommended I try a few different meal preps. I have tried, Factor, Scatch Culinary, and Coremaz. Here is what I like about Coremaz and why I continue to order from them. 1. They send a few reminders each week to place your order. I get distracted with all my things and it is helpful that they send it. I often order right when I get it. 2. They have weekly coupon codes and one of my meals is normally free. 3. Their customer service is excellent. You can text the owner and he will gt right back to you. 4. Meals are large (My husband and I often split them) 5. Quality meat and vegetables Few things I would like to see as they get bigger 6. They run specials where you can buy 500 credits and they will give you an additional 150 or 100. So if you order weekly it is a great way to get almost an entire week or two depending on how much you order off. 1. Two delivery days so meals stay fresher during the week. I normally only order enough meals that I can eat by Friday. (Delivery is Monday). They only deliver on Monday so if you want a lot of the fish meals you only have about 3 days to eat them. If they also delivered on Wed or Thurs also I could order more. Overall they are a great prep company with a lot of options. Meals are generally good -- not outstanding, but a good value, and delivery is flexible enough to accomodate my changing schedule. However, too many times an item has been missing, or items arrive in poor condition (PB protein balls aren't very appetizing when they've melted to PB protein puddles), or like today, nothing is delivered at all. Unfortunately the recurring theme is that if you do have a problem, there is no support. None. You can call and leave a voicemail, or text, or send an e-mail, but I have never once received a response, nor compensation, for any of my well-justified complaints. Sucks that I have no choice but to file a dispute with my credit card company, but CoreMaz just doesn't *do* customer service, and they're going to keep losing loyal customers until that changes. read more

Food is good, Custer service is horrible. Started ordering the first time in 2017 off and on. Had a few issues but always came back. Last straw was when about 16 meals were delivered outside of the delivery window. Tried to notify the company-on their designated phone number, email and social media with no response. All 16 meals we left in the sun for hours and went bad. No one called us back for two weeks. The company offered us HALF a refused but couldn't explain why???? I don't understand this business model. Lose two customers (husband and wife) over $50-$100? Lack of communication and customer service is the real issue here. This company use to be great. Seems like it's gone down hill as they've gotten bigger. The women who called to try and make the situation better was very professional and kind, I do have to give her props for trying her best in a tough situation. This all could have been avoided if they responded to us calling hours before we noticed they changed our pre-selected delivery time. By far, the best PREPARED meal service I've had in 40 years! We tried Blue Apron, HomeChef, Marley & Spoon, Sun Basket, Every Plate, Freshly, etc. We legit tried all of the meal kits and I personally have eaten NutriSystem and Jenny Craig foods. CoreMaz is THE best out of all of them. Very delicious AND nutritious Great presentation Sizable portions Very reasonable pricing Excellent pickup and delivery Ultra-friendly staff We're on week 3 and they've yet to make a mistake and we order 20 meals a week (2 ppl x 2 meals a day x 5 days). Each meal is around 300-500 cals, high protein, and low fat. They make meal prepping too easy -- I've lost 5 lbs in 3 weeks -- almost 2 lbs a week. Oh and location??? Tired a new local business since the one I used for YEARS closed bc COVID **Midwestern Meats**. Spent $45 and when I received it the packaging was nice but the food looked and smelled off... it looked old and tasted old. I tried a few and just threw them away. It seemed NOT fresh looked to me like the chicken might have been frozen at one point but ill never know. SORRY! Waste of money but glad I know this place is not the ONE. read more

Some things are def better than others. I've had a few hit or misses but generally pleased that it's portion controlled with proteins and macros and Starches. Convenient and better than fast food. Easy heat up no mess meals. They Have good deals for first timers and bigger orders. Order every Thursday for Monday delivery or you can pick up on Sundays. I Pick up since I work weekdays. I generally like anything with steak, shrimp or chicken. Wish their carrots and green beans weren't so Al dente....Like really under cooked...ok maybe not cooked at all. But there sweet potatoes or mashed potatoes are good as well as asparagus. Price is really relative to fast food but at least your putting something healthy in your body. This wk one of my meals has mold on it, even tho the date says its good until july 6th and today is the 1st. Dont waste your money here. The best local meal prep service. Easy order and great customer service. Coremaz was recommended by my strength trainer. He said they were good. I have heard that one before. I did some checking around and other meal prep services were complicated and needed a subscription. I don't like to be tied into something. Coremaz has no subscriptions. They do allow for auto shipments if you choose, but I want to change it up from time to time. I have been using the service since this whole Covid-19 started. It has worked out really well for dh and I. I am not a beef person and love fish. dh can order his steak and beef while I can order tofu and cod. The meals are so good. I have tried all of the meals. All the chicken offerings are moist and tasty. The pasta options are varied as well. I can get whole wheat penne or rice noodle spaghetti with turkey meatballs. I am not a turkey person, but when the chef prepares these huge turkey meatballs it is done with extraordinary tastes and spices. The spaghetti sauce is simple but well done. Everything just tastes really good together. Dh likes the mac and cheese with shredded beef. Again quite simple but oh so good. It is so simple and easy. Dh has tried the breakfast options as well. He has had scrambled eggs and egg whites always perfectly made and reheated in the microwave! Who knew you could nuke dinner and still have it come up tasting moist and delicious. When I need to bulk up on my veggies I have the option of choosing double veggies. I get the asparagus because those are my favorite vegetables. Now these I do not nuke, but I do toss them in the air fryer and cook. They are super healthy looking asparagus spears. (The last ones I got from the store were sickly looking.) Everything comes packaged and ready to reheat. The only downside is I wish it were more environmentally friendly. However the other side is Covid-19. So I will just recycle to make me feel better. I order on Thursday, I get a text so I can never forget! Oh I almost forgot! Dessert is protein packed and oh so good. I like the cookies. Dh does not. Dh likes the protein donuts, I do not. If you are busy and you are looking for a local, healthy, affordable meal prep service - look no further. We have tried almost everything except the breakfast meals. I have it delivered to my office and it has been like clockwork. Some of our favorite meals, are the Surf & Turf, Steak fajitas, lemon chicken, and chili. We just tried the new protein doughnuts - they were good, different but good. Food is pretty good, nice variety of meals and the price point is good, but I stopped ordering because they do not list calories/protein for half of their meals.. for a company that promotes protein/fitness meals that seems very odd. Horrible experience. Driver had attempted to deliver it an hour and a half before the delivery I chose and called me but didn't leave a voicemail or text or email while I was at work. I specifically didn't choose an earlier time because I know I wouldn't have been able to get it yet they delivered it during that time and attempted to blame me for their lack of communication. Horrible customer service I didn't even receive an apology. Definitely use any other meal prep service in AZ. read more
