We worked primarily with Jacalyn at Sharko's catering, but candidly, the entire Sharko's team and family were absolutely incredible the entire time we worked with them and we were SO incredibly pleased with the food, service, overall experience and wonderful care they put into making our wedding day absolutely amazing! We had out tasting in early January for our late February wedding (trust me, I thought this was too late, but they assured me it was more than enough time) and the tasting was great- easy to schedule and communicate what we were interested in trying. The food was incredible and we were super excited to have them as our top contender for the wedding dinner! They helped set up our buffet dinner for just under 100 guests, made the table look beautiful, they ensured we had our meal before our guests (thank you!! Otherwise I don't think we would have had a chance to eat tbh), they filled our champagne glasses for toasts, and allowed us to customize every option from day one. On top of these things, the chef made sure to introduce himself and check on us throughout the night, the serving staff saved us appetizers during cocktail hour to ensure we were fed throughout the night and they made sure that we were taken care of first and foremost which just helped us feel that much more special. Our guests could not have raved more about the dinner and appetizers as well- told 'that was the absolute best meal I've ever had at a wedding' multiple times throughout the evening! We couldn't agree more :) We catered our dessert and cake from a local bakery, but they helped cut and serve desserts as well. I cannot tell you how absolutely wonderful the entire team was in making our evening the absolute most special night. Thank you Sharkos, you were all superb and we were so thankful to have you help ensure our big day was so special! read more

Wow! Just wow! Where do I even begin? Our wedding day (March 9th) was an absolute dream come true, and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible team at Sharko's. From the moment we reached out to them, their communication was impeccable. They were responsive, attentive, and truly cared about our wedding! Jacalyn was our main contact and was so kind, sweet, understanding, and helpful in all the decision-making! Firstly, let's talk about the food. It was beyond delicious! Our guests are still raving about the food served at our cocktail hour and reception! From the appetizers to the main course, every bite was perfection. The presentation was beautiful! The team did farm-to-table for our family table and everyone was beyond thrilled with the taste and delivery! The team made sure I (the bride) and the groom were fed and the food was warm! We had a high guest count approx. 300 for service and everything went flawlessly thanks to Sharko's! I never expected to have so many compliments about the food for my wedding, but we have, which makes my heart so happy!! What truly sets Sharko's apart is their all-around service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, and professional, and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. The set up and added little touches to each of the food tables went with our decor and made everything look that much more fabulous! Overall, I can't recommend Sharko's enough. If you want a stress-free wedding day with food that will leave your guests talking for years to come, look no further. Thank you to the entire team for making our special day unforgettable. You truly are the best in the business! I added a photo, but I didn't personally get any photos, but another bonus Sharko's did! They even got a video of my entire reception set up before the people got in there and amazing photos of us during the ceremony! All around top-notch! Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you!! read more

Sharko's was amazing with a reception we recently had at Hansen's. They were flexible, friendly, and efficient. The food was delicious and the portions generous. The presentation and choices available were also impressive. I highly recommend Sharkos. read more

They have been absolutely fantastic for the 12 large dinner events we have hosted over the past two years! In addition to their attentiveness to details - they have been awesome to adjust the menu to the 12 different party themes - great with their service to our guests! Overall an excellent experience! Will continue to use in the future! read more

We had Sharko's cater my granddaughter's Celebration of Life. They presented us with a menu which we initially chose. Then we made several revisions and they were always so accommodating. The staff that did all the preparation, setup, service and cleaning was OUTSTANDING. We chose sandwiches (cut in half) which were so fresh and tasty. Several of my relatives commented on how good the roast beef was, not like the one you buy from the deli. We also chose lasagne which my Italian family and friends thought was delicious. The salads, cheese and relish trays were displayed beautifully. I'm so glad we chose Sharko's for our caterers. I highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again. read more

Gary, Ron and Nate of Sharko's Catering did a fabulous job for my cousin's 60th Birthday party with 50 guests. The food was excellent and beautifully displayed. Being a chef himself, Gary did a wonderful job of interacting with the guests and making sure their needs were met. Nate graciously helped serve and Ron did a great job of keeping the bar hopping. They looked good in their black shirts and pants. They truly added to the elegance of the party. We would give Sharko's Catering six stars if we could! read more

I was a +1 at a wedding catered by Sharko's. Let me say the staff was excellent. They were professional and attentive but also knew how to let loose and have a good time. It was fun seeing some of the younger workers shake it a little bit on the sidelines. The food was pretty good. I ordered the salmon over the prime rib. read more

Sharko's did a great job for our annual dinner/dance following the week we host the Happy Trails Classic Pickleball Tournament. We had over 200 members, spouses and guests attending our western theme event. Virtually everyone attending praised the high quality and generous portions provided by Sharko's. Sharko's Catering was our caterer for our wedding in February 2023. When we met for our tasting we loved the professional set up of the table and when each item was brought out to us we were given a description of what it was. Everything was delicious. The day of our wedding the presentation of the food, the professionalism of the staff and most of all the taste of the food was perfect. We will definitely be using them for any events we have in the future. read more

Our first encounter with Sharko's was at an open house for the vendor we chose for our wedding, North Valley Garden. The food was great, better than the other vendors on site, but just to be sure we got it right, we scheduled a tasting. Their office was full of Chicago memorabilia; we knew it had to be good, and it was. Our guests raved, and when I told the Chicago family that our chefs were from Chicago, they all said of course! They were also so easy to work with and made sure that everything was perfect, from the place settings to the dessert. I believe good food, great friends, and good music make an event; thank you, Sharkos family, for making our event spectacular. read more

Sharko's came through for our annual employee appreciation breakfast, lunch and dinner this year. They made 350 meals and delivered at 3 different times. It is tough to find a company that shows up on time with quality food for this amount of people and they delivered on everything they said they would. The commutation with them was seem less and gave us many different options for boxed meals during this crazy Covid season. I would highly recommend them. They made it so easy for us. We have done catering or food trucks for the last 10 years and this was by far one of the best. read more

Sharko's Catering is the absolute best! We ordered last minute due to some Holiday mix-ups, and they were able to accommodate us without question. The food was not only beautiful, it was excellent. Their delivery was on time, and extremely easy ...they did all the work! The morning pick-up was also on time, and they even cleaned up the counters! I will never use another caterer; Sharko's Rocks! Once again Sharko's Catering did not disappoint! We have a long history with this wonderful company and our parish Ministry Appreciation Dinner. With RSVP's of 500 it becomes a rather large event and Sharko's is always on the ball with plenty of hot & delicious food. This year we worked on changing up our menu and the guests were thrilled with the BBQ and choice of entrees. The catering staff even got into our dinner theme by wearing the same construction vests/hats that our parish staff were wearing - such good sports! Our vegetarian guests were thrilled to have a food option for them, so thank you. Gerard, Gary and Patti are such a great team to work with. Thank you for everything! Another successful Ministry Appreciation Dinner because of their efforts! -St. Patrick Catholic Church read more

I needed a caterer for a very special birthday party. I was referred to Sharko's by a friend who hosts very high end and often large events. I was sure that this would not fit within my budget, based upon my friend's very high standards. I was so happy to see that they were extremely reasonably priced, (much more reasonable than most!) Joann was so patient and flexible with my many changes, throughout the process and was so accommodating. I was able to mix and match a few items to meet the needs of my guests and was offered a variety of service levels. When the delivery van showed up to my event, I was expecting a quick drop off of boxes since I only required a drop off service. What we received, was a charmer named Curly with a top hat, the best personality, and the wit of a performer. He placed each item in its proper place on the buffet, arranges everything so it looked professional and beautiful. I was ecstatic. The display was beyond my expectations of boxes dropped off at the door. After he left, my guests wanted to know where he went, he was so much fun that they wanted him to come back! Next time, I'll be requesting Curly for certain. The quantity of food we received was so large and the guests commented repeatedly that this was the best catered food they had ever tasted. So would I recommend this business? A million times, yes! read more

We used Sharko's for our annual corporate townhall meeting of 100 plus people. Ordering was quick and easy and they gave great recommendations of their menu to suite our employees. The sandwiches we ordered were Turkey with honey mustard, Roast beef with horseradish and Ham with chipotle mayo. The sides were orzo pasta, potato salad, cucumber salad and fruit. All of it was delicious. The fruit was very fresh and sweet. I did mess up on the arrival time so they got there pretty early and Gerry was very patient with me and waited for us to set up before he took off. I would highly recommend Sharko's! 10/10 You guys rock. read more

My company and I contacted Sharkos 2 weeks ago to inquire about catering a corporate event in December. While the date we wanted was booked up, they did confirm they could make the food and drop it off for us. We were supposed to receive an email shortly after the conversation took place with a form to fill out so we could do a tasting, pick out our menu and put a deposit down. No emails came, so I followed up to see if those emails were coming, and still haven't heard anything. I left two voicemails and those haven't been returned either. I would have loved to have Sharko's cater our event, but the lack of communication is what is prompting me to leave 1 star. read more

Incredible service, delicious food, and great value!! The perfect trifecta is Sharko's! For my father-in-law's 70th bday party I decided we needed to have it catered instead of the family doing all the work. I did my research, contacted Curlie (who is amazing) and booked our event. We were not disappointed! We had an open house style meal with four apps and one hot entree. Curlie and Mary set everything up, took great care of us and left us very happy. Best of all, my in laws and all their guests were incredibly delighted with the food too! Fresh fruit, veggie tray, cheese spinach dip (which we ate by the spoonful) and the chicken stir fry.... Seriously good food, and I can be a little picky. We did full service, which was great..... They did all the clean up too! I highly recommend. Not sure what's up with the priority negative review...... Me and our 40 guests truly had nothing but good to say about our experience. One of the guests is also in charge of the HOA holiday party and she is going to book them too! Delicious and i'll very likely use for my mother in law's party next year!! read more

We used Sharko's last night for the second time for a party in the home. Each time we used them we were lucky to get the same service staff, Thomas and Jorge. I highly recommend Sharko's and will be using them again. read more

We ordered the dinner buffet for a small holiday party of 35 guests, and we picked up the food from Sharko's. All of the hot food was very good. The dinner salad was your basic iceberg lettuce and tomatoes (but it was fresh) and I would have traded it for a small appetizer or cheese platter if I had known. And we had more than enough food for our guests! I agree with some of the other comments, their brick & mortar isn't in the best neighborhood, but don't let that scare you away. Also, very friendly staff on the phone and in person. Everything was ready on time for pick up. read more

I used Sharko's catering for my March wedding this year. They far exceeded all of my expectations. We had them cater Mexican food for the wedding and it was phenomenal; we got a lot of compliments that it was the best wedding food people had ever tasted. We did buffet style and their dishes were very nice and classy. The servers did a great job making sure that everyone's water and wine glasses stayed full. We also rented the tables, chairs, and table cloths from them. They had a lot of options for different linens. They brought the tables the day before the wedding at the time I requested and set them all up with the linens so everything was ready to go the next day. We had our ceremony and reception in the same hall and they went above and beyond and did the whole rearranging in between the ceremony and reception, while serving appetizers in a different area. They were happy to do this and did an excellent job following the rough outline I had drawn. I would definitely recommend Sharko's for any event, as their food and customer service are both great. read more

We were at a wedding last night and sharko's staff was talking so loud that we could not here the minister over them. The staff was very organized and looked like they knew what they were doing. I said looked! The waiters never bothered to fill my water glass. They didn't clear any plates until the evening was over. Ok now the food. REALLY bad. First of all the green beans tasted rubbery (which to me means frozen). The mashed potatoes were definitely out of a box. The beef was very dry and could only be eaten if u had the horseradish sauce on it. Ok so I thought to my self well they can't mess up a salad. I was wrong. The lettuce was wilted and the dressing tasted like Kraft. Recommendation dont us this company if u like good food or good service. read more

We hired Sharko's to cater our wedding and couldn't be happier with everything. We had it at our home and the brothers came to the house and helped us with the layout and were very accommodating about working around our availability. The guests loved the food. We had the short ribs, and apple chicken and it was great, as was the Hors D'oeuvres and wedding cake. The meatballs and stuffed mushrooms were so good I had people asking me if I could get the recipe. The table set up was very nice. The cushioned chairs looked good and were very comfortable. Gary was great, he kept us informed of what was going on while we mingled with our guests and helped to keep the reception progressing from Hors D'oeuvres through toasts, dinner and cake and was very professional and easy to work with. They cleaned up after and didn't leave any mess behind. Prices were very reasonable for the service we got. All in All a great full service caterer for weddings. read more

I have to sing the highest praises of Sharko's, just like many of these other reviews I was working with a pretty tight food budget for my wedding, and looking at catering choices was driving me crazy. I chose my wedding venue because it was open to vendors, hoping to find an affordable option. The venue did have a preferred vendor, Sharko's. Boy, am I glad. We talked to Gerard and scheduled a tasting. Sharko's does operate out of a warehouse office which may feel a little out of place, but this should not be a deterrent to any of you. Gerard and team are warm and welcoming. We did not feel upsold or pressured to add options. They worked with our budget easily. We chose a chicken florentine single entree buffet. Get the potato kugelis, you won't be sorry. I feel for the price, there was a lot included with buffet service. Gerard was easy to work with for the whole process. He was easy to reach through email, and if we had to make any changes, it would have been easy. For the food service, everything was smooth. I got to focus on my day and Sharko's took care of the rest. The buffet set up looked beautiful, the team was friendly, fun, and firing on all cylinders. The food was just as good if not better than our tasting. All the guests raved! The team also helped with cake service, even though they did not make it. If I haven't gotten my point across, do not hesitate to book Sharko's for your next catering event! You will not be disappointed. I'm going to go eat my leftovers now... Thanks again for making magic happen!! read more
