    Paneer Bhuna Masala
    Sudhanshu M.

Tried their Paneer Bhuna Masala from the menu. Good quantity and freshly prepared but it was very dry and more like bhurji. The cheese chilli naan was just full of cheese and felt like just having a large slice of melted cheese instead of naan. Great service and appreciated the complimentary sliced onions and lemon.

We came here for the first time as we were visiting family in the area! It was clean and a great ambiance. The decor, seating and cleanliness of the place stood out for sure! They serve more of North Indian cuisine. Our first server was really cheerful, bubbly and helpful. There was another guy who helped us as well. The items we ordered: -garlic naan -samosa -lamb saagwala -butter chicken -vegetable biryani -and hot chais Everything was delicious and the lamb didn't taste gamey. I normally don't order lamb but my bro wanted to and I'm glad I was able to try it. I liked dipping the garlic naan in the sauces too. Overall, our experience was positive. I think for me, the entire restaurant was clean and inviting and also had more of a fancy touch to it. I'd def come back here again. For Bay Area prices, it wasn't too bad but still more expensive than Sacramento prices.

So many wonderful things I have to say about this restaurant!!! My family and I have always come during their lunch buffet. As soon as you enter, the host, who is also the server, kindly greets you with a smile and seats you promptly. You choose between regular or garlic naan (included in the lunch buffet deal) or you can order another flavor a la carte. We always get the garlic naan which comes out hot and fluffy yet deliciously crisp. They usually have about 3-4 types of curries on rotation, along with an assortment of samosas and chicken wings. There is also a salad and dessert bar. Chai is a must with the meal, and recently they just added mango lassi to buffet! I am always so impressed by the staff's attentiveness and kindness every time we've stopped by. Cozy decor and amazing service! Best Indian cuisine in town!

My last meal from Tadka Indian Cuisine was the most disappointing meal I've had in a very long…read moretime. Indian cuisine is my favorite type of cuisine. Roti is perhaps my favorite of any bread ... however not this Roti. I requested all dishes (we ordered several - as I do when ordering Indian food) to be medium or spicy. Nothing was medium spiced and definateky not spicy... in cadaver I dint think anything had a spice at all to it (except for the Bhindi Marsala which had a lot of red pepper flakes in it). The Mixed Vegetable Pakora was tough and gummy inside each fritter, some of the fritters were burnt. The Roti was so tough I could not even treat it apart with my hand; at home I tried my best to use hand and dicots to top it and I put it outside fir the raccoons and even they refused to eat it. The Naan was also tough (though not as though as the Roti) it was supposed to be butter garlic naan and it was so cold bland and tough I'm not sure it was any of those words. The Paneer Tikka Masala was so sweet and absolutely bland it was inedible. I just started picking out the paneer to eat without the sauce that was only sickly sweet with no other flavor. The Lb Vindaloo also has a sauce with barely a spice in it ... bland (I've never had a bland vindaloo before) with large hunks of potato but barely any meat. The Shrimp Korma had four shrimp in it (shrimp were well cooked and of decent size - but only 4!) and the sauce was again bland ... not a flavor or spice anywhere to be found. The Bhindi Marsala had actual flavor of the red pepper flake nature and was not bad but do overcooked it had the strangest texture and slight scorched flavor on some of the okra pieces. The Samosas were soft and doughy with the insides a dense compressed mass that had no flavor. The blandest samosa (I didn't eat mine I offered to raccoons as well - they ate the samosa) I've ever had... the ones you can air fry from Costco are better than these were. The rice (Peas Pulao) was well cooked and tasted fine if bland. The mint chutney was very watery tasting that it had very little flavor at all. The Tamarind chutney was pretty good and hubby really liked it. It and the rice were the only things we could say were good or mediocre. Indian food is my favorite food, my husband is not as wild about it as I am so we do not often get it. I was so excited to order all of these dishes .... And how devastated I was when I was served whatever this was!

One of the few Indian restaurants that doesn't taste like they have three main sauces they pull from with no effort to make flavors differentiate or pop. The dishes here taste like the chef's actually care about the food. Service is polite and simple. Very low maintenance. Not a restaurant if you like to be picky. Come to enjoy it as it is. My only complaint (and it is minor) is that, because they do a lot of take out, they have a lot of drinks and other items prepared to just grab and go for you. This doesn't work if your order anything other than water to drink at the table. They offer really interesting and refreshing tea/lemonades, yet when they bring the drink it comes prepared to go in plastic cup, sealed, with boba style fat straw (as opposed to the very elegant picture on their menu). It stood out as massively tacky and ugly, especially because of how thoughtful the design choices are for the table scape and the rest of the dining experience. Strange place to cut a corner. Even opening the to go cup at the counter, pouring it into one of the lovely water glasses (which is what I did, lol) would be easy and streamline the beautiful experience.
